After Gabriel finished speaking, Jessica felt a cool sensation in her hand.
She looked down and saw an enormous diamond ring on her finger.
The dazzling diamond sparkled brilliantly under the light.
"Why did you change it?" Jessica asked, tears welling up in her eyes.
"The previous diamond was too small. I've been wanting to get you a bigger one for a while. Plus, this size fits you perfectly and won't get stuck on your finger."
As Gabriel spoke, he lifted Jessica's hand like a gentleman and kissed the back of it reverently.
Jessica looked at the ring in her hand, too moved to speak.
