Chapter 323 Proposal
Jessica practically skipped over, her excitement bubbling over.
Just then, a stunning girl handed her a massive bouquet of flowers.
Hidden among the blooms was a card with just a few words: [Jessica, look up.]
Jessica immediately looked up, and right then, cheers exploded around her, "Look, the plane's coming!"
A red banner unfurled from the sky, with big, bold letters: [Dr. Morgan, please marry me!]
Sure, the red fabric and white letters were kinda cheesy, but Jessica was still totally moved.
Not because of the banner, but because it was him proposing, the guy she always dreamed of marrying.
Cheers filled the air, "Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!"
"What a beautiful moment!"
Amidst the noise, Gabriel suddenly appeared behind her, then dropped to one knee in front of her.
With all the love in the world, he started, "Jessica, I want to take care of you forever. I want to see your face every night before I sleep and every morning when I wake up. I want all my joys and sorrows to be for you. You know, I always thought I was pretty clever. I imagined all these different proposal scenarios, thinking I'd be unique and special. But in the end, I realized that the simplest way was the best way to show my love for you."
Jessica covered her mouth, tears streaming down her face as she laughed, "It is pretty simple. I thought you would be super romantic!"
Gabriel chuckled, "I'm sorry, Jessica. I had this romantic proposal planned, but time was too tight. I couldn't wait any longer. Oscar said the simpler, the more memorable. If you don't like it, I'll dock his pay when we get back."
Jessica burst into laughter through her tears, "I'm not that mean. I didn't say that."
"Alright, once you say yes, you'll be my wife, and whatever you say goes."
Up in the sky, Oscar, piloting the helicopter, was sneezing like crazy.
"It must be because my idea was so good. Mr. Walton has successfully proposed, so he's praising me and giving me a raise," Oscar muttered.
Well, that was what Oscar thought anyway.
Gabriel asked, "So now, my beautiful, kind, and youthful girl, can you overlook this clumsy proposal and agree to marry me?"
Though simple, Jessica had to admit she was deeply touched.
Tears streamed down her face as she nodded vigorously. "Yes."
Gabriel's lips curled into a satisfied smile, and he carefully slipped the ring onto Jessica's finger.
The huge diamond sparkled brilliantly in the sunlight, dazzling everyone.
At that moment, the sunset's afterglow was incredibly gentle.
The beautiful orange light painted the entire sky, illuminating Jessica's soft cheeks and Gabriel's handsome profile.
The entire sunset was the most beautiful blessing.
Gabriel stood up and embraced Jessica.
The crowd erupted into enthusiastic applause, their voices surging like waves, "Best wishes for your future together!"
"You make a great couple."
Jessica was tightly held in Gabriel's arms, feeling his warmth and hearing his heartbeat.
At that moment, it was as if her world was filled with brilliant fireworks, incredibly beautiful.
She suddenly felt like having the whole world would be nothing compared to this moment. Having him was even better than having everything!
"Thank you, Gabriel!" she said, tears streaming down her face again.
Just then, the helicopter started to descend slowly, a gentle breeze blowing. Gabriel held Jessica's hand as they walked onto the helicopter, their fingers tightly intertwined.
Soon, the helicopter spiraled up and disappeared into the sky.
When people tried to spot it again, all they saw was a distant shadow.
Inside, Jessica was stunned once more.
The entire cabin was filled with flowers, creating a floral wonderland. The rich fragrance lingered in the air, making it unforgettable.
Various flowers in all sorts of vibrant colors made it look like a garden.
And these flowers weren't just thrown around; they were meticulously arranged, making them especially pleasing to the eye.
"So beautiful!" Jessica exclaimed.
But with so many flowers, the fragrance was a bit overwhelming.
Because she was pregnant, Jessica started to feel nauseous.
Gabriel quickly instructed Oscar to land at a large school, and they dropped the beautiful flowers from the sky to the children below.
The kids, seeing the flowers falling from the sky, danced with excitement, rushing to catch them.
Seeing the happy smiles on the children's faces, Jessica smiled joyfully too.
Everyone jumped and caught the flowers, and when they saw Jessica, some kindergarten kids adorably exclaimed, "Wow, I see the lady! She's so pretty!"
"And the gentleman, he's so tall and handsome!"
Gabriel and Jessica held hands, smiling sweetly.
Especially when she looked at those kids who were like little elves, Jessica's smile grew even brighter. "Gabriel, do you think our baby will be as cute as them?"
Gabriel hugged her from behind, placing his hands on her belly, replying, "Yes, I think our baby will be even cuter."
Jessica smiled and responded, "Yes, I think so too."
After dinner, Jessica thought Gabriel was going to take her home.
But at the traffic light, Oscar turned in a different direction.
"Aren't you taking me home first?" Jessica asked.
"Wait a bit, I'm taking you somewhere first."
Finally, the car arrived at a narrow alley, and Jessica suddenly felt a sense of familiarity.
When the car turned into the alley, she saw the villa in front of her and immediately realized.
Wasn't this the classical clothing store he brought her to before?
"Here? We've already had dinner," Jessica said with a smile.
Gabriel couldn't help but tap her nose and laugh, "All you think about is eating!"
"Well, last time you brought me here for dinner," Jessica said.
"Don't you remember what I showed you last?" Gabriel asked.
Showed her?
Jessica immediately thought of the collections, and one more thing...
Soon, the answer was on the tip of her tongue.
Her heart immediately raced, afraid to think further.
Wedding attire?
Could he be bringing her here to look at wedding attire?
While she was still in shock, Gabriel had already taken her hand and led her upstairs, straight to the wedding attire section.
They were really here to choose wedding attire, and Jessica was instantly stunned, hardly able to believe it.
