Chapter 775 Coincidence or Fate

As a result, Susan made several phone calls in a row, but no one answered.

Susan felt that her luck today was really bad, one frustrating thing after another.

Seeing the boarding time getting closer, she knew that if Grace couldn't make it to the airport within half an hour, they would miss the flight.

After making a few more calls, but still no one answered, Susan was extremely anxious.

Not far away, Willie had already gotten Susan's phone number from Linda.

Strangely, Willie made six calls in a row, and they were all busy.

What was going on?

Finally, Susan decided to call Linda to explain the situation.

However, she needed to prepare herself mentally first, so she took a deep breath after putting down her phone.

Just as she was about to make the call, Susan's phone suddenly rang.

It was an unfamiliar number, but this number had been calling her when she was trying to reach Grace.

The person had called her so many times, they must really need to talk to her!

So Susan answered.

"Hello, who is this?"

"Hello, are you Susan Garcia?"

"I am. Who is this?"

"I'm Willie Torres, Mr. Taft's assistant. I wanted to discuss Ms. Morgan's flight to the set today with you."

Regarding Grace and Quentin's relationship, although Linda hadn't explicitly said anything, Susan could roughly guess.

So, Susan immediately responded, "Okay, sure. Where are you now?"

"I'm at the airport."

Susan replied, "That's perfect, I'm at the airport too. I'm right in front of the ticket gate, wearing a yellow dress."

"Alright, don't move, I'll come find you."

Following the directions from the call, Willie quickly searched.

Then, when Willie laid eyes on Susan, he was stunned.

So the one he had bumped into at the airport was who he was looking for.

What a coincidence!

Walking over, Willie gently patted Susan's shoulders.

When Susan turned around, he finally confirmed, "It's really you?"

"You're Mr. Taft's assistant, looking for me?" Susan opened her eyes wide, completely in disbelief.

"Yes, it's quite a coincidence."

Both Willie and Susan were in shock.

After a while, Susan finally came to her senses.

After Willie explained Grace's arrangements for going to the set, Susan nodded repeatedly, "That's great, thank you so much."

Quentin was simply her savior.

Now, Susan could go to that store to buy the hand-ground coffee Grace liked.

"In that case, I'll drive you to meet Ms. Morgan," Willie offered.

Susan shook her hand, "Thank you, but there's no need. I spilled Grace's coffee, and I want to buy her another cup."

Originally, she had bought two cups, one for her and one for Grace.

Willie smiled and gave her the address, then asked, "Is it this place?"

Susan was surprised, "You know this place too? Linda said it's a pretty niche store, and you know it?"

Willie nodded. For a moment, he felt a sense of camaraderie with Susan.

The coffee shop was niche.

But why did he know about it?

Because if Grace wanted to drink it, Quentin would make sure to get it for her.

Of course, when Quentin wasn't busy, he would personally go to that store to buy it, but most of the time, it was Willie who went.

He was a really, hardworking assistant.

In the end, of course, Willie drove Susan there.

They were lucky; they got the last cup of coffee when they arrived.

Holding that cup of coffee, the worry on Susan's face disappeared, and she instantly looked as happy as a bunny, almost ready to jump for joy.

"Just a cup of coffee, and you're this happy?"

"You don't understand. This is my first time doing something for Grace. If Grace is satisfied, of course, I'm happy."

Willie was silent.

Was there really someone who felt happy just buying coffee for someone?

If Quentin heard this, he would definitely adjust Willie's work attitude.

More importantly, Willie suddenly felt that Grace was really magical. How could everyone be so willing to work hard for her?

Quentin was understandable, given the power of love.

But Susan and Linda also worked so hard and without complaint for her. It was incredible.

In the end, Willie concluded that Grace must be very generous and offered great benefits, while Quentin was stingy and always docked his year-end bonus.

So, after returning, Willie brought up the issue of a raise with Quentin.

Quentin coldly threw all the documents at Willie.

When Willie walked out of the office, the HR director called him over and revealed that Quentin had already instructed to increase his bonus at the beginning of the year, just waiting for the year-end settlement.

Willie murmured, "It seems even capitalists have feelings, just more reserved and subdued."

Grace had a very deep sleep.

She had a beautiful dream.

In the dream, she was wearing a white wedding dress, walking down a red carpet, step by step towards Quentin.

The priest solemnly asked, "Ms. Morgan, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love, honor, and cherish, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, as long as you both shall live?"

She smiled softly, opened her lips, and was about to say, "I do."

Suddenly, her eyes opened.

"Annoying!" Grace couldn't help but complain as she threw off the covers.

At the same time, she was surprised to find the room was already bright, and the sun was glaring.

She realized she had overslept and would definitely miss the flight.

Grace picked up her phone and saw it was already past ten.

Susan had called her more than a dozen times, but she hadn't answered any of them.

She remembered she had set an alarm last night.

The alarm couldn't have gone off without her noticing.

Thinking of one possibility, she grabbed her phone and called Quentin, her tone full of grievance, "You turned off my alarm. Now I can't catch the flight, and I won't make it to the set today. How am I supposed to film tomorrow?"

Quentin's voice was extremely gentle, "Grace, you were exhausted last night. I couldn't bear to see you get up so early, so I wanted you to sleep a bit longer."

"Willie has already gone to the airport to talk to Susan. She should be waiting for you downstairs now. Get up, change, and have some lunch. I'll arrange a private jet to take you this afternoon."

"A private jet?" Grace blinked.

Grace was very touched.

But the cost must be huge.

"Isn't that very expensive?" Grace asked, feeling a bit distressed.

Quentin's lips curved into a smile, instantly charming as he said, "Don't worry, I have money!"
