Chapter 599 Jessica is about to Give Birth
Seeing Jessica trembling all over and the pain getting intense.
Tina couldn't care about anything else.
She ran to the door, shaking it vigorously and shouting frantically, "Open the door for me!"
"My friend is about to give birth, and she's in a very dangerous condition. You must take us to the hospital immediately."
But Tina's shouting had no effect.
The door remained tightly shut.
The people outside kept silent and acted as if they couldn't hear Tina's shout.
Jessica's painful, miserable cries filled every corner of the room.
Tina wiped Jessica's tears while crying herself.
Suddenly, Jessica grabbed Tina, her pale lips struggling to form a few words.
"Tina, I can't make it."
"If Gabriel comes, tell him I love him, I don't blame him."
"Please make sure he lives well and takes care of Freddy and Gilbert."
As soon as Jessica finished speaking, another wave of pain hit.
Jessica's hair was soaked, clinging to her head like she'd just emerged from the water.
Tina was also trembling, her palms sweaty.
"Jessica, I'm sorry, please forgive me for not being able to pass on your message."
"Hold on, you can't leave with regrets, you must tell him these words yourself."
Jessica looked at Tina in pain, her eyes full of pleading.
Suddenly, Tina let go of her hand and went to the bathroom to fetch a basin of hot water.
Then Tina mustered up the courage to speak, "Jessica, do you trust me?"
"Are you going to help me deliver the baby?"
"Yes, although I haven't practiced it, I've learned the theoretical knowledge in class. The situation is urgent now, this is our last resort."
Jessica nodded in agreement, "I trust you."
With just that one sentence, Tina instantly became brave.
But after checking, Jessica's cervix was only dilated two centimeters, not ready for delivery at all.
Just as Tina was tidying up Jessica's clothes, suddenly, the door was kicked open from the outside.
Seeing someone come in, Tina immediately ran over, "My friend is about to give birth, please take her to the hospital immediately."
"Bitch, are you stupid? I went through a lot of trouble to catch you, if I take you to the hospital now, wouldn't that be walking into a trap?"
"Her condition is very dangerous, if we don't go to the hospital, she and her baby will die. I beg you to take her to the hospital, leave me here, I'll take all the consequences, okay?" Tina pleaded desperately.
But it had no effect at all.
Suddenly, Royce's gaze fell on Tina's sweaty body.
His eyes suddenly lit up.
"Lady, to be honest with you, if they can't give me what I want, you're doomed."
Royce suddenly gave an evil smile, lifting Tina's chin with his hand, "But you still have some use. If you have sex with me now and make me feel good, I might consider going easy on you and that baby."
"No."
Jessica, weak to the extreme, suddenly burst out, shouting.
Jessica staggered to stand in front of Tina, bravely protecting her.
"You both have such deep feelings for each other, how touching," Royce said, reaching out his hand again.
Jessica pushed away his fat hand, "Get lost, don't touch her."
"You want me, let her go, or I won't spare you even if I become a specter."
At that moment, someone behind Royce stepped forward. His gaze fell on Jessica's big bump, giving an evil smile, "Look at your tender skin, it's really hard to let go."
"But, I suddenly think you're right, I have plenty of ordinary women, but a beautiful pregnant woman like you, this is the first time."
Tina was trembling with anger, just about to step forward, but Jessica stood in front of her like a wall.
"Tina, listen to me!"
"You've always protected me, let me protect you this time, okay?"
Tina refused, shaking her head frantically, tears streaming down, "No, Jessica, don't."
"Tina, we're different!"
Jessica understood her condition, she couldn't hold on any longer.
Since the outcome was death, if she could use herself to protect Tina, Jessica felt it was worth it.
Tina was different, she wasn't married yet, and she didn't even have a boyfriend.
Tina's life couldn't be ruined like this.
As soon as Jessica finished speaking, a strong wave of pain hit.
Jessica suddenly found herself unable to stand, half-supporting herself on the ground.
At that moment, Tina walked towards Royce voluntarily, "Let Jessica go, Jessica is about to give birth, there will be a lot of blood soon, it will be very gory."
Royce smiled, grabbing Tina's hand and pulling her out the door.
"Tina."
"No."
Jessica screamed in heart-wrenching pain.
She tried to get up, to pull Tina back.
But this time the pain was even more intense, Jessica couldn't even straighten her back.
"Tina, come back to me."
"Tina, don't do anything stupid."
Jessica shouted with all her strength, her heart aching like it was being cut by a knife.
"Jessica, hold on, you must protect the baby."
"Believe me, Gabriel will come to save you."
Tina said, her face bearing a pale, resolute smile.
Then, she was pulled out by Royce like a butterfly with torn wings.
"No!"
Jessica's cries were lost behind the closed door.
At that moment, a rush of heat hit.
Jessica looked down and realized something was wrong.
Jessica's amniotic sac had ruptured.
Once the amniotic sac broke, it meant the baby might be deprived of oxygen, so she had to deliver the baby as soon as possible.
Otherwise, the baby would suffocate to death.
But now there was no one to help her, what could she do?
At that moment, a heart-wrenching cry came from the next room.
So familiar, she recognized it was Tina's voice.
"Tina." Ignoring herself, Jessica desperately walked to the door, pounding on it frantically.
Tina's cries continued.
And Jessica felt a sharp, searing pain.
Because Jessica had been standing and walking, the amniotic fluid was leaking more rapidly.
Jessica was in so much pain she had no strength left.
Cold despair washed over her like a tide wave, making it hard for her to breathe.
Was she going to die?
Was the baby going to leave this world too?
And Tina, such a beautiful, kind girl.
Just as Jessica closed her eyes in despair, not daring to hold on to any hope, suddenly, she heard a burst of gunfire.
Then the gunfire intensified, each shot ringing out closer than the last.
Footsteps approached.
Suddenly, the door was kicked open.
When she saw Gabriel running in from the door, a faint smile appeared on Jessica's pale face. She grabbed his hand, almost frantically, shouting hysterically.
