Chapter 352 What Exactly Did You Do to Her?

Gabriel was taken aback. What did she mean there was no obstacle between them anymore?

Suddenly, it hit him like a ton of bricks. He pounced on Chelsea like a wildcat, his hands wrapping around her neck. "What did you say to her? What did you do?" he roared, his voice filled with fury.

Chelsea shook like a leaf under his grip. If it weren't for the door behind her, she would've crumpled to the floor.

She hadn't seen Gabriel in over a decade. In her mind, he was still the sweet, charming boy next door. But now, his rage scared the living daylights out of her.

Chelsea's face went pale, and she struggled to breathe. "Gabriel, let go. I can't breathe."

Seeing her on the verge of passing out, Gabriel loosened his grip.

She coughed violently, gasping for air. Once she caught her breath, she looked at Gabriel. "You just tried to strangle me, didn't you?"

"If anything happens to her and the babies, you and the Haugen family will pay."

"Babies?" Chelsea's eyes widened in shock. "Are you saying she's pregnant with your kids?"

"Yeah, twins." The mention of Jessica and the babies softened Gabriel's eyes a bit.

Chelsea shook her head, dazed. "No way, how could she be pregnant? Why didn't she tell me?"

"Would it have changed anything if she did?" Gabriel's voice dripped with sarcasm.

"No, I'd still make the same choice. But those kids will never be born."

"Chelsea, I don't have time for this. What did you do?" Gabriel's whole demeanor was terrifying, his voice like a cold blade.

Chelsea's confidence wavered. "I just told her the Walton Group was in trouble and only the Haugen family could save it if I married you. I never threatened her. The choice was hers."

"It turns out, she didn't love you enough. Otherwise, why would she leave you?" she added.

Gabriel looked at Chelsea, barely holding himself back from snapping her neck. Left the choice to herself? There was no choice at all. She pushed Jessica into a corner.

Jessica had no other option but to leave. The Walton Group was Xavier's legacy. She'd do anything to save it, even if it meant leaving Gabriel.

Under Gabriel's silence and bloodshot eyes, Chelsea began, "Gabriel, don't be sad. If she really loved you, she wouldn't have left. She's not worth it..."

Gabriel's roar cut her off. "Shut up! What do you know?"

"Gabriel, you..." Chelsea trembled with fear.

"Get out. Now."

This time, Chelsea was truly scared. His cold, harsh words broke her heart. She couldn't hold back her tears. "Do you know my grandfather agreed to invest in you because of me? I told him I liked you and wanted to marry you."

"He saw you as my future husband, that's why he invested. What else did you expect? Fine, Gabriel, I'll wait for you to come crawling back." With that, Chelsea turned and walked away, head held high.

As she ran, she wiped her tears, sobbing loudly.

"Ms. Haugen," a voice called from behind.

Chelsea turned to see Danielle.

"Mrs. Walton!" She greeted politely, stopping in her tracks.

Danielle walked over and handed her a handkerchief, speaking gently, "Here."

Chelsea looked at the fancy handkerchief, feeling awkward. "Thanks, Mrs. Walton."

"Go ahead, wipe your tears," Danielle encouraged, her voice soft and comforting. She then reached out and wiped the tears from Chelsea's cheeks herself.

Chelsea was taken aback. "Mrs. Walton, you..."

After wiping her tears, she looked at Danielle with a face full of grievance. "Mrs. Walton, do you think I'm wrong for doing whatever it takes for love?"

"Chelsea!" Danielle sighed, taking her hand. "If it were anyone else, I wouldn't say this.

"Gabriel's been stubborn since he was a kid. Not even his dad could change his mind. He's serious about Jessica, and she's carrying his child. He won't give up on her."

"Mrs. Walton, but the Walton Group is in trouble. I can help if he marries me." Chelsea looked at Danielle innocently.

"Chelsea, I understand your feelings, but let me be clear. Whether Jessica leaves or not, whether she's pregnant or not, no matter where she goes, even if Gabriel never finds her, he won't marry you."

"No," Chelsea said with determination. "I don't believe it. Mrs. Walton, to save the Walton Group, I believe he will compromise."

"Chelsea, if you don't believe me, let's make a bet. I know my son. He will never accept it."

"Fine, what if you lose?" Chelsea asked confidently.

"If I lose, I'll persuade Gabriel to marry you. But if you lose, you must support Gabriel and Jessica's marriage."

"Deal."

Watching Chelsea leave, Danielle sighed.

Charlotte came over and handed Danielle a cup of tea. "Mrs. Walton, you're so kind. Chelsea forced Jessica and her children away. Now, no one knows where Jessica is. She's pregnant, not in good health, and suffering from severe morning sickness. Who knows how she's doing now?"

"The more I think about it, the more heartbroken and upset I get," Charlotte said, wiping her tears.

Danielle comforted her, "You can talk to me about this, but don't say it in front of Gabriel. If he hears it, he'll be desperate.

"As for Chelsea," after a long pause, Danielle said slowly, "she's just a girl, young and spoiled by the Haugen family, which has inevitably made her a bit arrogant. But she is not a bad girl."

"Although we can't be family, we don't have to be enemies," Danielle continued, her voice calm and reassuring. "We can still be allies. Maybe she can even help Gabriel and Jessica."

"Mrs. Walton, are you serious?" Charlotte asked excitedly.

Danielle handed the handkerchief to Charlotte, "Wash this and package it. Have someone send it to the Haugen family later."
