Chapter 759 Grace's Revenge 2

"Yeah, you're right. We live in a society governed by the rule of law."

Grace squatted down, deliberately getting closer to him.

She mimicked the cold, terrifying voice of a wicked old woman from drama, "But what are you afraid of? Did I ever say I was going to do anything to you?"

"Besides, I'm just a delicate, weak woman. What could I possibly do to you?"

"Marlon, actually, I should thank you. Thank you for giving me a real, honest answer without any lies."

But the more Grace spoke like this, the more panicked Marlon felt.

The terror, like a flood breaching a dam, spread layer by layer, engulfing him.

It pierced straight into his heart, almost consuming his entire soul.

At that moment, he was truly scared, more than ever before.

Just as the breath in his chest was about to give out, suddenly, intense pain, like a venomous snake, spread and crawled madly across his entire spine.

Grace made a swift turn, grabbed the iron chair next to her, and without hesitation, smashed it onto his back.

She raised the chair again and brought it down for a second blow.

Marlon, who had just lifted his body, was smashed back to the ground by the chair in her hand.

The people around quickly stepped forward and said, "Ms. Morgan, if you want to punish him, leave it to us."

"No, I want to do it myself."

With that, Grace picked up another chair and smashed it down again.

Grace was so angry that she was trembling all over, and sweat rolled down from her forehead.

"Marlon, you're not even a man."

"Today is perfect. Let's take this opportunity to settle our scores."

Marlon spat out a mouthful of bright red blood.

He lay on the ground, barely clinging to life, looking pitiful.

"Linda!" Grace shouted.

Linda immediately handed her something.

Taking the item, Grace squatted down.

She opened the document in her hand and had someone force Marlon's eyes open.

Then she displayed the contents of the document, clearly in front of him.

"Marlon, you're not even human. How could you be so vicious?"

"Do you know that Beth was already pregnant with your baby? The autopsy results said her baby had been dead in her womb for half a month."

"Think about it. That was during the time you imprisoned and abused her."

"You are simply horrifying, chilling to the bone."

"But now, it's all over. The baby in Beth's womb might not have been your first, but it will definitely be your last."

"Marlon, from now on, you will never have another baby, nor will you have the chance to commit any more crimes."

This time, it was Grace's words that sent chills down Marlon's spine.

He trembled and frantically asked, "Grace, what do you mean? What do you mean I'll never have another baby?"

Before Marlon could finish his sentence.

Suddenly, Grace turned around, drew a gun, and cocked the hammer.

Just as she was about to pull the trigger, a bodyguard quickly stepped forward and took the gun from her hand.

"Ms. Morgan, Mr. Taft has instructed that you can do whatever you want, but you mustn't dirty your hands."

With a loud bang, the bullet went straight through Marlon's genitalia.

Instantly, blood gushed out.

Marlon clutched himself in agony, writhing and moaning on the ground.

His cries and screams echoed throughout the entire underground garage.

Unfortunately, no one but them could hear it.

"You took the bullet for me. What will you do?" Grace looked worriedly at the bodyguard.

The man scratched his head. "I know this is illegal. I'll turn myself in and face the law. Mr. Taft has been incredibly kind to me. I was a fugitive with no chance, and it was Mr. Taft who gave me a new life and took good care of my family."

"So, I have no regrets."

Marlon rolled on the ground, screaming.

Grace approached him, "To be honest, the crimes you've committed will undoubtedly get you the death penalty."

"Scum like you should die to atone for your sins."

Marlon panted heavily, desperately pleading, "Grace, I don't expect you to spare me. Just kill me immediately. I only ask for death."

Grace laughed, "I used to think that the greatest punishment for someone was death. But later, I changed my mind. For those who are utterly evil, the greatest punishment is to let them live."

"Endlessly, without hope, living a life of guilt and remorse, tormented and suffering forever. Day and night, with no end."

Marlon laughed, "Do you think someone like me would feel guilt?"

"Of course not. So I came up with a perfect plan. Marlon, I don't care if you feel guilt, but I will make sure you feel pain and regret."

"Rest assured, I won't let you die."

"I'll hire the best lawyers for you, and then let you live a life of endless imprisonment, barely surviving, without dignity."

"No." Marlon shouted frantically, "Grace, you can't do this to me."

"I'm begging you, I'll do anything you want, just don't do this to me."

Grace kicked him away. "Too late."

"When you abused Beth, shot her dead, and hit Quentin, you should have expected this outcome."

"You knew this day would come. Why did you do those things in the first place? For the rest of your life, you have only one task: to repent and atone for your sins!"

With that, Grace turned her back.

She walked steadily, step by step, out of the garage.

Linda followed behind her.

As they reached outside, they saw a familiar car.

It looked like Quentin's.

But Grace thought carefully; he should be resting in the hospital now, so it probably wasn't his.

So, she didn't think much of it.

As Grace approached, the door opened, and Willie jumped out. "Ms. Morgan, Mr. Taft is waiting for you inside."

"What? His injuries haven't healed yet, and he's so weak. How could you let him come?"

Willie felt wronged; he couldn't stop Quentin.

When Grace asked if the guards were armed, Willie was very scared.

Based on previous experiences, as soon as Quentin woke up, Willie didn't dare delay and reported immediately.

Could Quentin stay put?

He immediately had a suitable car prepared and lay down in it.

"Quentin, how are you?"

Grace rushed up and asked eagerly.

Quentin affectionately tapped her nose. "Who said they'd stay with me? I woke up, and you were already gone."

"Sorry, something came up. I couldn't let it go. If I didn't personally teach Marlon a lesson, I was afraid he'd go to prison and I'd lose the chance."

"Feel better now? Do you need my help?"

"No, it's fine," she replied.

At that moment, Quentin's gaze fell on her tender cheek, and he softly asked, "Does your face still hurt?"

Grace was stunned, then realized. "You know about it?"

"She hit you yesterday. Why didn't you tell me?"
