Chapter 836 On the Wedding Day 1

Kenneth and Grace stopped at the same time.

"Grace," Quentin's voice came from behind.

Grace's fingers gently tightened, and Kenneth felt it.

"Go ahead, I'll wait for you here!"

Kenneth spoke, letting go of Grace.

"You're not angry?" she asked.

"I understand, go ahead, I'll wait for you here," Kenneth said.

Lifting her dress, Grace turned around.

When Grace looked at Quentin, she tried her best to hold back, but her eyes turned red.

"Is there something else?" Grace asked, trying to steady her trembling heart and calm herself down.

Quentin looked at her, his eyes serious. "Grace, I've wanted to tell you something. Since I first saw you. It's a bit late, but I want to say it to you in person."

"What is it?"

"You look absolutely beautiful in your wedding dress!"

Quentin spoke, his voice soft and gentle.

Especially those eyes, filled with tenderness and affection, when he looked at her.

A ripple spread through her heart, and Grace responded, "Thank you!"

After that, the two of them fell into silence.

"If there's nothing else, I'll go now. Kenneth is waiting for me over there," Grace said.

Quentin nodded lightly, "Alright!"

"Okay!"

The moment Grace turned around, her eyes welled up with tears.

But soon, she blinked them away quickly.

"All done?" Kenneth asked.

"Yes, let's go take our wedding photos!"

"Alright."

Just like before, Kenneth took Grace's hand.

Her fingers were slender and soft, and holding them in his palm felt very comfortable.

Kenneth and Grace had just taken a few steps when they suddenly heard a clear voice behind them.

"Quentin, do I look good?"

Grace was very familiar with this voice.

Who else could it be but Caroline?

As for Quentin's response, Grace didn't listen anymore.

When taking wedding photos, since it was all indoor scenes and both Kenneth and Grace were very photogenic, the process was quite fast.

Because they kept posing, it was a bit tiring.

Kenneth specifically had the driver take Grace home, while he took a cab to the company.

Grace rested at home for a day, and the next day, she made a special trip to the mall.

Kenneth's company had been particularly busy these past two days, and he seemed to have come back around one or two in the morning yesterday.

Knowing his style, once he had some free time, he would definitely go buy the rings.

The wedding dress had already made her feel very guilty.

She hadn't expected it to be so expensive, otherwise, she would have chosen a cheaper one.

Since he bought the wedding dress, she decided to buy the rings herself.

After all, it was a contract marriage, and she didn't want to take advantage of him.

At the counter, Grace immediately spotted a pair of rings with a simple design.

"Hello, I'd like to see these rings. Could you please show them to me?"

"Of course, ma'am!"

After a careful look, she was very satisfied.

The price was just right, so Grace had them wrapped up immediately.

"Alright, I'll take these. Please wrap them up for me!"

"Ma'am, you need to try on the size first, and also let us know your fiancé's size."

This question stumped Grace.

She called Barney to ask about Kenneth's ring size.

"Sorry, Grace, I really don't know. You might want to ask Mr. Powell directly."

"Alright then."

Grace hung up the phone, feeling a bit frustrated.

At that moment, the sales clerk smiled and said, "Ma'am, if you have a photo of your fiancé's hand, we can take a look at that too."

Grace was a bit surprised. "A photo will work?"

"We've been in this business for a long time, so we're quite experienced. If you have a photo, you can show it to us."

"Alright, just a moment!"

After taking the call, Barney walked into the meeting room and felt a sharp gaze directed at him.

He knew Kenneth's habits well; unless it was a special or urgent situation, he didn't like people stepping out to take calls.

But he had no choice.

The call was from Grace, and he didn't dare not answer.

As soon as the meeting ended, Barney quickly ran over to explain, "Mr. Powell, that was Ms. Morgan on the phone."

"She called you?" Kenneth was a bit surprised.

"Yes, Ms. Morgan asked if I knew your ring size."

Kenneth was stunned for a moment but quickly understood and told Barney, "Tell her it's a size 9."

This time, it was Barney's turn to be surprised.

"Why are you standing there? Go tell her quickly."

Barney nodded quickly, "Yes, sir!"

Grace was about to call Kenneth when she received a message from Barney.

So Grace immediately told the clerk, "My fiancé's size is 9, please use that size."

"Of course, ma'am."

After buying the rings, Grace didn't linger and went back home.

Kenneth came home early that day.

After dinner, Grace took out the rings and handed them to Kenneth.

"Open it and take a look!" she said.

Inside, two rings were lying quietly.

Although he had guessed it, Kenneth felt a bit excited and surprised.

"Did you go buy them by yourself?" he asked.

Grace nodded, "Yes, seeing how busy you've been lately, I had nothing to do at home, so I went to look at rings."

"I didn't know what you would like, so I chose a simple and popular design. If you don't like it, you can tell me your preferred style, and I can exchange it tomorrow."

Kenneth nodded seriously, "You have good taste, I like it very much."

Seeing that he was satisfied, Grace breathed a sigh of relief.

But then she suddenly thought of another issue.

"However, the price of these rings can't compare to the wedding dress you gave me. I had to pay some money when I terminated contracts with the advertisers, so I don't have much left. I can't buy something as luxurious as you did."

"You have high status, and if you think it's too cheap..."

Before Grace could finish, Kenneth reached out and gently ruffled her hair.

"If I said I like it, I won't care about the price."

Then he pulled out a card from his bag and handed it to Grace, "From now on, buy whatever you like, don't save money for me."

Grace quickly waved her hand, "No, Kenneth, you misunderstood. I didn't mean that, and I don't want your money."

"Don't worry, I won't touch a penny of your assets. We can sign a prenuptial agreement and property notarization right now."

Kenneth smiled, "I know that's not what you meant, but as my wife, I like you spending my money. It gives me a sense of accomplishment."

"Take it, use it whenever you want, or just keep it with you."

"Thank you!"

Seeing his insistence, Grace had to accept it.

Time flew by.

A week later, it was the day of her and Kenneth's wedding.

Grace got up early and was immediately taken by the stylist to get ready.

The wedding was scheduled for noon.
