Chapter 107 Sharon's Revenge
The sudden intensity in Ethan's demeanor surprised Gabriella, as she had never felt such an oppressive presence from him before.
His icy gaze, filled with a clear threat, sent chills down her spine.
She was frozen in place, unable to regain her senses for a long time.
“Mom, we need to leave—now!” Sharon said, pulling her away. It was only when Sharon reacted first that they hurriedly left.
“Don't be angry; maybe it was my lack of consideration this time. If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't have brought them in. I never expected Auntie to be so unreasonable!” Chloe looked at Ethan's gloomy face, feeling a bit guilty.
If she hadn’t interfered that day, perhaps today's unpleasant incident wouldn't have happened.
“Silly girl, what are you saying? I know you were just concerned about me! However, women like Gabriella don't deserve any sympathy. You saw it yourself; she’s completely unreasonable!” Ethan smiled bitterly, comforting her by gently holding her hand.
Chloe looked at the three boxes and softly asked, “Then, what are you going to do with all these jewelry?”
“Of course, you can keep them. After all, you spent 5 million on them! I entrusted all my love for Sharon before in these jewelry, hoping she’d understand my intentions. However, it turned out to be nothing but wishful thinking!” Ethan sighed, never imagining that the gifts he gave Sharon would turn into collateral in a casino, which was truly ridiculous.
“I’ll keep them in a safe for now.” After some thought, Chloe decided to put the three boxes away.
“Why do that? These are meant to be worn. Come, let me help you put them on.” Ethan stopped her and proceeded to open the three boxes on-by-one.
The other workers couldn't help but cast curious glances, especially when they saw the dazzling jewelry.
“This is the Sea Blue Wing, a blue jade bracelet specially-crafted from Europe. There’s also this Golden Jade Silver Ring, also custom-made by a top master. Lastly, this Angel Heart necklace symbolizes the most beautiful love. I went through great lengths to obtain it from a collector. Each of these are as unique as you!”
While saying this, he put each piece of jewelry on Chloe, making the female employees around envious.
“Thank you, Ethan. I’ll wear them for the rest of my life!” Chloe's gaze was filled with intense passion, staring deeply into Ethan's eyes. She felt like all of the world’s beauty was concentrated on her right now, as if she were the happiest woman alive.
“As long as you’re happy! Besides, you paid a lot to redeem them, why thank me?” Ethan looked at her, who was especially radiant at that moment, with a warm smile on his face.
Having just left the building, Sharon and Gabriella looked up at the floor where Chloe's company was located, their eyes filled with anger.
“This is unbelievable! We need to get those items back—they're rightfully ours!”
After leaving, Ethan’s oppressiveness earlier had vanished. Gabriella immediately reverted to her usual attitude, but she couldn't stop thinking about those three jewelry pieces.
“They'll regret this. I'll make sure Ethan and Chloe both pay for today's embarrassment,” Sharon coldly said, plotting how to achieve her desired outcome.
Gabriella immediately had an idea, “Yeah, I recall the Johnsons and Beverly also hate Ethan. Should we go find them?”
Just then, a Porsche Cayenne parked next to them, caught their attention.
The car window rolled down, revealing Andrew sitting in the driver's seat as he waved to Sharon. “Sharon, I couldn't believe my luck running into you here. I've been looking for you everywhere!”
Sharon couldn't believe her eyes, feeling pleasantly surprised.
“Isn't this Mr. Johnson? I knew you and Sharon were fated, even bumping into each other here!” Gabriella greeted Andrew with a joyful look.
“Auntie is here as well? Let's have lunch together then.”
“Sure. We also need your help with something!” Gabriella didn't wait for Sharon's response, immediately agreeing.
Andrew curiously asked, “What’s the matter?”
Gabriella explained indignantly, “It's all Ethan, that disgusting man. Not only did he kick us out of the company and putting us in a difficult spot, but he also took back the priceless jewelry he previously gave to Sharon!”
If Ethan were to hear Gabriella speaking like this, he would probably regret not slapping her harder earlier.
Andrew was surprised, “Ethan? Didn’t Cloud Group kick him out? Moreover, it seems like even the Wilsons are dealing with him, so how did he get another company?”
“Let me show you something!” Sharon's heart skipped a beat as she opened the passenger door, got into the car, and took out her phone. She found a picture of Chloe she secretly took before.
Seeing this, Andrew's expression changed as he grew more curious to know what had happened.
“This photo…” his eyes lit up as he whispered, “So beautiful!”
By this photo alone, he felt like this woman was far more beautiful than Sharon.
“She's called Chloe, and she's Ethan's current woman! She opened a decoration company on this building’s 8th floor. It was her and Ethan who just kicked us out!” Sharon introduced Chloe, clearly with malicious intentions.
Since she first met Andrew, she knew what kind of person he was. He was a shameless man who’d do anything to sleep with a beautiful woman, including her!
“Is that really the case? So, after leaving Cloud Group, he found a wealthy woman to look after him? Moreover, he dared to treat you like this. Don't worry, I’ll definitely stand up for you!”
Andrew's heart stirred, promising confidently while patting his chest.
“Thank you, Mr. Johnson. Ethan used to rely on Sharon, and now he's attached to another wealthy woman. You’re really the only capable one here, so you must stand up for Sharon!” Gabriella, who had already gotten into the car’s back seat, flattered him.
“Of course, that’s no problem. After all, Sharon and I have a special connection. Rest assured; I won't let Ethan off the hook!” Andrew smirked, placing his hand on Sharon's hand beside him.
