Chapter 375 Camila Wilson

Sarah looked annoyed and asked, "I can't believe the Ashford family is still so arrogant. Didn't you see Dorian tonight? Didn't you do anything?"

"Who said I was going to do something to Dorian?" Ethan shot back, raising an eyebrow.

"But even if we let the past go, he still imprisoned Jessie for years. Can you really let that slide?" Sarah was getting anxious, clearly not wanting to let Dorian off the hook.

"Ethan did the right thing. We shouldn't get involved," Jessie suddenly chimed in.

With Jessie saying that, Sarah had nothing more to add. Their conversation left Alvin on the ground, completely stunned.

"If you don't call Dorian, I will. I should've stopped him earlier and brought him here!" Ethan said, pulling out his phone and dialing Dorian's number.

"Elm Street, Velvet Jewelry Store. I'll be waiting," Ethan said as soon as the call connected, not giving Dorian a chance to respond before hanging up.

Cold sweat started to pour down Alvin's face. He could already imagine how bad things would get once Dorian arrived.

Dorian had just gotten home and hadn't even checked on Caspar when he got Ethan's call. He figured someone must've provoked Ethan again.

After barely escaping death from Francis, Dorian had ordered everyone to stop all actions against the Miller and Harris families to avoid conflict. Clearly, someone hadn't taken his words seriously.

Dorian quickly pieced it together. 'In the Elm Street area, aside from the main store, most operations are handled by Kenny. Would Kenny follow orders?'

With his master-level speed, it only took him a few minutes to get there, faster than driving, though it did use up some super energy.

When Dorian arrived at Velvet Jewelry Store and saw the trembling Alvin and the confused Daniel holding the unconscious Shirley, his face darkened.

"Dorian, the Ashford family is really something. We just parted ways, and your people dared to mess with my mom and my girlfriends!" Ethan snorted coldly.

"I'll give you an explanation for this," Dorian said, walking up to Ethan and nodding slightly.

"Aren't you going to ask what happened?" Ethan raised an eyebrow.

"No need. Their presence here explains it. We just parted ways, and your women were scared," Dorian sighed.

"Alright, just for that, I won't hold tonight's incident against you. But Camila's necklace is broken. Shouldn't you do something about it?" Ethan nodded and then smiled slyly.

"Are you someone who cares about money?" Dorian shook his head, smiling wryly.

"Come on, who doesn't care about money?" Ethan replied seriously.

"Stop playing dead on the floor. Get the best necklace from the counter and compensate them!" Dorian ordered Alvin without even looking at him.

"Yes, get the necklace quickly," Alvin scrambled to his feet and shouted at the still-dazed salesperson.

"Then I won't hold back!" Ethan grabbed a fancier necklace from the salesperson and showed it to Dorian.

"Yeah, I know," Dorian rolled his eyes. Ethan always seemed to get under his skin. Was this some kind of payback?

"You're right. We haven't even paid for the last necklace!" Ethan laughed.

Dorian's face twitched, his expression changing instantly.

"Let's go," Jessie said to Ethan.

"Goodbye, Dorian. Oh, and find Gino first thing in the morning. We're heading to Sunridge!" Ethan told Dorian before leading Jessie and the others out of the store.

"Mr. Ashford!" Alvin finally approached Dorian, trembling.

"Hand over your work tomorrow. You're fired. You're on your own now," Dorian said without even looking at Alvin, then turned to leave.

Alvin collapsed to the ground again. After a while, he remembered who caused this mess and glared at Daniel with fury.

"You guys, cripple this man!" Alvin roared, and Daniel's screams echoed through the store.

At this point, Alvin didn't care about consequences. He'd lost his job and wanted to kill Daniel.

"I think this is good. Dorian is now afraid of you and so obedient! I take back what I said earlier. Maybe this is the best punishment for him!" Sarah laughed, still savoring Dorian's defeated look.

"We should maintain some respect for Dorian. That way, we can use him better," Jessie reminded calmly.

"Don't worry, Mom. I know what I'm doing! Also, I need to go to Sunridge tomorrow, which might take two days. Are you staying in Everglow City to wait for me or heading back to Novaria?" Ethan asked, changing the subject.

"I need to take Camila back to Novaria. She hasn't been to kindergarten for a week. It's better to get her back to school early," Hannah said.

"If they're going back to Novaria, then we'll all go and wait for you. Jayden is also in Novaria these days. We didn't get to see him in Everglow City, so we'll visit him in Novaria and thank him for taking care of you all these years," Jessie decided.

"My mom also needs to go back to Novaria tomorrow, so let's all go back together," Chloe agreed.

"I'll be back in Novaria in two or three days. The matters in Everglow City are almost resolved. Once you return to Novaria, prepare for the transition. We'll head back to the Wilson family in half a month," Ethan reminded Chloe and the others.

"Do I have to go, too?" Hannah asked curiously.

Hannah had only recently become acquainted with big families like the Wilson and Ashford families. She felt both curious and intimidated.

"Of course, you have to go. Camila is my goddaughter. She will be the young lady of the Wilson family, and everyone there should know her," Ethan replied.

Hannah was stunned. She didn't expect Ethan to say that and felt both surprised and deeply moved, as it showed Ethan's affection and recognition of Camila.

Jessie saw the look in Ethan's eyes and smiled knowingly.
