Chapter 519 Entering Celestia Vale

The moment Donovan Turner and Maurice Jenkins showed up, Ethan knew something was up and bailed on his training real quick.

Outta nowhere, hitting the fifth level of the ZF knack brought these guys to him.

"Who the hell's training outside the Celestia Vale secret realm, messing with the spiritual energy here?" Donovan barked at Ethan, looking all pissed off.

Ethan could tell these dudes were at least master level, but what really threw him was the info they dropped. This place was actually outside the Celestia Vale secret realm.

"Are you guys elders of Celestia Vale?" Ethan asked, totally caught off guard. He never thought helping Angel find a body would lead him here. Maybe her body was inside this secret realm.

"We're the guards of Celestia Vale. Who the heck are you?" Maurice asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

"Whoa, hold up. I think there's a mix-up. I'm Ethan Wilson and had no clue this was the entrance to the Celestia Vale secret realm," Ethan said with a sheepish grin.

"You're Ethan?" Maurice and Donovan looked shocked. They clearly didn't expect Ethan to be here.

"Yeah. I'm the head of the Wilson family and the current leader of the ZF Guild. If you don't believe me, hit up your steward elders. Some of them know me and can vouch for me." Ethan touched his nose, thinking that even if these two didn't recognize him, his name should ring a bell.

"Hang tight, I'll go get them." Maurice quickly headed back to the passage, which then closed, leaving Donovan staring at Ethan.

"If I hadn't stumbled on it, I wouldn't have known the entrance to the Celestia Vale secret realm was here," Ethan said, trying to break the awkward silence.

"Mr. Wilson, why are you here?" Donovan asked.

"A friend of mine lost something here and asked me to help find it. Who knew I'd end up here?" Ethan lied smoothly. He couldn't exactly say he was helping Angel find a body.

"Lost something?" Donovan's eyebrow twitched. He had thought of many reasons Ethan might give, but this one was just too lame.

Ethan felt stuck. Technically, he wasn't lying; Angel had lost something—her own body.

"By the way, what's your name?" Ethan suddenly changed the subject to dodge more awkwardness.

"I'm Donovan Turner, and the guy earlier was my buddy Maurice Jenkins," Donovan introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you," Ethan replied politely but was at a loss for words. He hadn't planned on getting mixed up with Celestia Vale, but now he was knee-deep in their territory.

While Ethan was debating whether to bounce, the spatial passage opened up again, and out came Maurice with Raymond, one of the big-shot elders of Celestia Vale and Trevor's mentor.

"Didn't expect to see you here, Ethan. What brings you to the Celestia Vale secret realm?" Raymond asked with a grin.

"He said he was looking for something and didn't know this was the entrance to the Celestia Vale secret realm," Donovan jumped in before Ethan could say a word.

"Raymond, long time no see. Yeah, I'm here looking for something, but I didn't think I'd end up at Celestia Vale," Ethan said, a bit reluctantly.

"What exactly are you looking for?" Raymond asked, clearly surprised.

"A friend of mine lost something. I doubt it's in Celestia Vale, so let's just drop it," Ethan dodged. He hadn't figured out Angel's deal yet and didn't want to spill the beans.

Raymond gave Ethan a piercing look, like he was trying to read his mind.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Ethan felt a shiver, wondering if Raymond had figured something out.

"You seem to have some extraordinary luck," Raymond's expression softened, and he smiled warmly.

Ethan was thrown off by Raymond's sudden change in attitude, but his words made Ethan even more cautious. This guy was no joke, definitely grandmaster material. Ethan thought, 'Does he find out about Angel?'

"Don't sweat it. With his spiritual sense, he can't detect me. At most, he knows you have a Requiem Tower in your Sea of Qi," Angel's voice reassured Ethan.

If it was just the Requiem Tower, no biggie. Raymond shouldn't be too interested. If things went south, he could always call Francis.

"Today's just a mix-up. I didn't mean to bother you. If there's nothing else, I'll head out," Ethan decided to make his exit.

"Since you're here, why not check out Celestia Vale? Don't you trust me?" Raymond invited Ethan with a smile.

Ethan was about to decline when he heard Angel's urgent voice in his head. "Say yes. I felt a stronger connection with my body when the spatial passage opened."

Angel's words shocked Ethan.

"Since you're here, I also want to have a good chat with you," Raymond pressed, seeing Ethan's hesitation.

"Alright, I'm curious to see how Celestia Vale stacks up against Tiger Mount," Ethan agreed, albeit reluctantly.

On one hand, Angel wanted him to go in; on the other, Raymond had already extended the invite. Turning it down would be pretty rude.

Raymond nodded, still smiling.

Ethan took a deep breath and stepped into the spatial passage first, with Raymond, Donovan, and Maurice following. The passage vanished under the starry sky like it was never there.

As soon as Ethan emerged from the passage, he felt the spiritual energy was way thicker than outside. He found himself on a platform in a valley, the entrance to Celestia Vale, with "Celestia Vale" carved into a big building nearby.
