Chapter 251 Check the Venue

Having returned from the Walker family, Ethan smiled.

The goal of acquiring the Skyline Center had been achieved, and the promised military advisory position from Bennit was a bonus. Ethan was quite satisfied with this outcome.

Just a few hours after Dorian signed the property transfer contract for the Skyline Center, explosive news about the change of ownership had already appeared online.

Initially, everyone thought it was fake.

After all, the Ashford family had been operating in Everglow City for many years. When it came to the Skyline Center, people would immediately think of the famous Zenith Group. The Zenith Group was already a colossal entity, and in the upper circles of Everglow City, the Ashford family was considered unshakable.

Suddenly, news broke that the Skyline Center had changed owners and that the Zenith Group was relocating. Was this fake news?

However, that very day, the Everglow City Evening News published solid evidence, which was naturally Alexander's doing.

The sudden change at the Skyline Center shifted all of the attention to the Ashford family.

"This is outrageous! Ethan is too much of a bully!" The overwhelming online news was one thing, but when Dorian saw the mainstream media reports, he was enraged.

"This was expected. Why are you so angry? It's not worth letting this affect your mood over such a trivial matter!" Dashiell and Dorian sat facing each other on the villa's sofa. Seeing Dorian's livid expression, Dashiell smiled and tried to console him.

"You don't need to say anything. You are not me, so you naturally don't know the pain!" Dorian retorted.

"You are mistaken. Both of us, including the Ashford family and the Wilson family, are in the same boat now. Is there any difference between a slap in your face or mine?" Dashiell immediately corrected him.

"The Wilson family's sincerity is what I want to see. Anyone can talk the talk, but I didn't invite you here for that," Dorian reminded him, implying that Dashiell was all talk and no action.

Dashiell didn't get angry but instead asked calmly, "Since you invited me, I assume you've already thought it through, right?"

"Let me ask you, is everything you said on the phone today true?" Dorian shifted the topic.

"You make me feel awkward and quite hurt. Since we've already allied, there should be some trust between us. Could I possibly joke about such matters?" Dashiell reminded him, looking somewhat displeased.

"It had better be so. I can agree to your terms. I can give up some equity in certain industries, but you need to exchange it with equivalent funds. Fair enough, right?" Dorian said.

"Of course, since you are so straightforward, I can't be ungrateful. Besides the Cloud Group, you're welcome to invest in the Wilson family's other businesses! Spending money is unnecessary; how about mutual investment?" Dashiell suddenly proposed seriously.

"What you say is reasonable, but why exclude the Cloud Group?" Dorian asked.

"Firstly, you know the Cloud Group is at a critical point to acquire IntelliMerge Group. Secondly, Brady wants to captivate Beverly with this corporation as a form of assurance for her," Dashiell explained helplessly.

"Is she really of such importance to Brady? The Cloud Group can be excluded for now, but after the acquisition of IntelliMerge Group, I must be included!" Dorian scoffed dismissively.

"Alright, I guess he will not refuse you if he knows your thoughts, but I won't tell him until everything is settled!" Dashiell pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement.

"Let's do it that way. I've already prepared the contract on my end. I assume you have as well?" Dorian finally nodded in satisfaction and asked.

"Of course, tomorrow at noon, we'll sign the contract here. I'll bring the contract over then!" Dashiell agreed.

On the same evening when Dorian and Dashiell reached an agreement, Ethan took Sarah and a few other girls to the Skyline Center once again.

As if deliberately showing off, Ethan appeared once more at the entrance of the Zenith Group's exclusive elevator. The security guards at the gate immediately recognized Ethan and were surprised to see him again.

"Sorry, this is the Zenith Group. If you don't have an appointment, please leave!" The security captain stood in front of Ethan and the others, rudely reminding them.

"I'm just here to see when the Zenith Group plans to move out," Ethan asked with a smile.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Although he had heard rumors about the group's relocation, hearing it from Ethan made it particularly grating.

"Perhaps you are unaware that as of this afternoon, this building has become my property. The ground upon which you presently stand is under my ownership. Shouldn't you speak a bit more politely?" Ethan reminded him calmly.

"What a madman! If you don't leave, I'll have you thrown out!" The security captain's face turned livid. Since he started working here, he had never been so provoked.

"Did you bring us here just to get scolded?" Sarah asked Ethan with a face full of dissatisfaction.

"Don't be in such a hurry. We've finally acquired the Skyline Center. This will be our headquarters in Everglow City from now on. We should at least take a look at the place, right?" Ethan explained earnestly.

"I don't care what you're here for. Leave now. You're not welcome here!" The security captain was already impatient and was about to drive them away.

"Wait!" At that moment, a cold voice suddenly rang out, and Ignatius, with a blank expression, walked out of the elevator.

"Isn't this Ignatius? Here we met again!" Ethan greeted Ignatius with a smile.

"Ethan, didn't we agree on three days? Can't you even wait for three days?" Ignatius asked with a stern face.

"Of course, I'll wait. When have I ever gone back on my word? I'm not here to make you move out immediately. I'm just here to look at my place. Is that not allowed?" Ethan asked earnestly.

"You want to go up to take a look?" Ignatius asked suspiciously, frowning.

"In three days, this will belong to me. Do you think I'd set it on fire?" Ethan nodded with a smile.

"If you must have a look, then go ahead!" Ignatius had no intention of arguing with Ethan. He instructed the security captain, "Take Mr. Wilson upstairs for a tour. Make sure to take good care of him."

"Understood!" The security captain didn't expect Ignatius to agree to Ethan, answering with astonishment. There was no way he could defy Ignatius, even if he were unwilling.

"Ignatius, would you come along with us?" Ethan asked as Ignatius turned to leave.

"I don't have much interest. If you want to look, go ahead. I'm more interested in seeing how long you can keep the Skyline Center in your hands," Ignatius snorted coldly and left without looking back.

"Didn't you hear what Mr. Ashford said? Hurry up and take us upstairs," Ethan turned to remind the security captain.

"Please!" The security captain was burning with rage, but as he thought of Ignatius's instruction, he pressed the elevator button and suppressed his anger.
