“Beckett, are you joking? Are you really going against the Johnsons for this worthless dog?” In this situation, Andrew couldn't believe that Beckett would firmly stand by Ethan's side.
“You're the one who’s joking here. You think Mr. Wilson and Cloud Group aren’t connected anymore? You all say he relies on that company to be arrogant, but I know that he was the reason behind its success! You’re just a bunch of clueless people, but you have the nerve to boast around here!” Beckett's words were powerful, rendering Andrew speechless and embarrassing those who had mocked Ethan earlier.
Everyone thought Ethan relied on Cloud Group, but they all overlooked one question; how did the company actually develop?
“That’s right! Mr. Wilson was the one who revived Cloud Group. I believe that even if he left, he can just build another successful company!” Hannah joined Beckett, expressing the same attitude.
Ethan smiled and said, “Heh, so you see it as well. It's comforting to know that some people still have brains.”
Andrew gritted his teeth as he pointed to Hannah and loudly threatened, “Don't get too excited. Do you think your luck will last forever? As long as the Johnson family is around, you won't see a single profit! I’ll make sure that everyone who supports you knows how foolish this decision is, and I’ll be the one to bankrupt this woman's company!”
Beckett sharply retorted, “Don't even think about it. The Johnson family may be powerful in other aspects, but I still have some connections and strength in the jewelry industry. As long as I'm around, you won't be able to touch Miss Collins's company!”
Andrew mockingly laughed, “You're just the president of an association, but you dare talk arrogantly in front of me?”
“Then why don’t you try? As long as I'm here, I guarantee that the Johnsons won’t be able to rise in the jewelry industry!” Beckett clenched his teeth, confronting Andrew head-on while fueled by the previous accusations.
“Is that so? Then let me introduce someone to all of you! You’re probably quite familiar with him, as well!” Andrew sneered and then shouted to the crowd not far away, “Sebastian, come here!”
“Isn’t the Wilson family behind Cloud Group? That company’s development has nothing to do with Ethan!”
Those who had already looked down on Ethan burst into laughter without a care.
However, Ethan remained expressionless. His eyes didn’t waver as he stared at Andrew like he was looking at a clown. This left Andrew extremely uncomfortable.
“Mr. Sebastian, if Beckett doesn't know what's good for him, let him know what happens if he defies the Johnson family!” Andrew coldly said to Sebastian.
Hearing this, Sebastian angrily shouted at Beckett, “Beckett, this is your last chance, so you should take it. Otherwise, even I can’t save you!”
“If that's the case, then I have nothing to say. I move according to my morals, and I hate involving myself with lechers!” Beckett coldly snorted, his face dark. It was obvious he had already prepared for the worst.
“Good, very good! I’ll say this today on behalf of the Johnsons; whoever collaborates with Ethan is defying my family, and I’ll make sure they’ll all go bankrupt!” Andrew angrily exclaimed, announcing to everyone before Sebastian could say anything.
He was clearly targeting Beckett and Hannah.
“Oh, really? Then count me in!”
At that moment, a woman’s voice echoed from outside the crowd.
