Chapter99 Wally's Madness
“Hahaha! Ethan, so what if you’re a good fighter? Why don't you try hitting me first? If you dare move, I'll blow this girl's head off with one shot!”
Seeing this situation, Wally burst into laughter. He swiftly pulled Sarah from his subordinate, placing his gun against her temple.
As soon as Ethan appeared, Sarah immediately struggled with excitement. However, her hands and feet were bound while her mouth was taped shut, rendering her unable to escape.
“If you dare hurt her, I promise you won't live to see another day.” Ethan warned blankly, staring at Wally.
Wally said dismissively and coldly, “Don't try to scare me! As long as she's in my hands, I doubt you’d dare do anything! If Sarah dies, let's see how you explain it to the Harris family.”
“What do you want?” Ethan squinted his eyes and asked.
“30 billion dollars; transfer it to this account immediately!” Wally said, throwing a bank card at Ethan's feet.
Ethan picked up the bank card and glanced at it, calmly saying, “I don't have that much money, only 15 billion that belonged to Frank. I can only give you that much!”
Wally impatiently yelled, “Stop yapping! No matter how much you have, I want to see the money first!”
“Okay, I'll have someone transfer the money to you now. Don't touch her!” Ethan said, taking out his phone and pretending to send a message. At the same time, he kept an eye on the other gunmen from the corner of his eye.
Ethan's hand suddenly trembled, and his phone fell to the ground.
“Ah, my hand slipped.” he shrugged helplessly, bending down to pick the phone up.
A gunshot rang out as Wally instantly shot Ethan's lower leg without hesitation.
Ethan's lower leg was wounded, causing only a slight tremor in his whole body. Despite that, his face remained calm.
“I was just picking my phone up! How else can I transfer the money to you?”
Normally, bending down to pick something up was considered a very safe posture, lacking any offensive capability as one was in a vulnerable position.
Unexpectedly, Wally still fired a bullet, showing that he already had extreme fear toward Ethan.
“I suggest you don’t try anything funny. Otherwise, the next bullet won’t be on you, but her head!” Wally glared at Ethan, issuing a fierce warning.
Seeing this, the other gunmen didn't panic too much. Instead, they sighed in relief.
However, none of them noticed that when Ethan bent down, he had already taken out a few toothpicks from his pocket.
He didn’t expect the toothpicks he casually took from Frank's villa to be useful right now.
Compared to a stone, they had a smaller target, making them even more difficult to be detected by the naked eye, especially in the dim night.
The moment he stood up, he flicked his wrist, hurling several toothpicks toward the gunmen.
They silently pierced into the gunmen’s chests in an instant. They all trembled, falling to the ground without any warning.
This eerie scene stimulated Wally's nerves. Although he didn't understand what was happening, he only assumed that Ethan was up to no good.
Almost at the same time, Ethan swiftly sliced the bank card across Wally's wrist, severing his hand that held the gun.
It was only when his palm, still holding the gun, fell to the ground that the intense pain made Wally react. He bent down, screaming in agony.
Ethan quickly rushed forward, pulling Sarah behind him as he kicked Wally to the ground.
“Ethan, you won’t end well... I won't spare you even if I die!”
Writhing in pain, Wally rolled on the ground as he didn’t forget to curse Ethan maliciously.
“If you really become a ghost, you should worry that Frank and Louis’s spirits might seek revenge on you first!”
Hearing this, Ethan snorted coldly as he quickly untied the ropes on Sarah's hands and feet.
When Sarah was free, she hastily tore off the tape on her mouth and anxiously checked his body, her gaze stuck on his bleeding calf.
She urgently reminded, “Are you okay? You were shot just now! We need to go to the hospital!”
“It's fine; don't forget I know some medical skills. I can handle this minor injury myself!” he shook his head. The bullet only pierced the muscle tissue in his leg, and it didn’t hit his bone.
At this moment, he used the mysterious energy to heal his injury, making the bleeding gradually stop.
Suddenly, there was a commotion outside. Several cars stopped at the gate, followed by dozens of black-clad young men rushing inside the building.
When they saw the chaotic scene and the Crossing Gang’s countless members on the ground, the people who arrived were shocked.
Seeing Sarah and Ethan standing unharmed and with no other threats, they sighed in relief.
Ethan's heart moved as he asked the newcomers, “Are you both from the Harris family?”
“Mr. Wilson, Miss Harris— we arrived late!” The leader of the young men quickly approached Ethan and Sarah, bowing his head apologetically.
“You’re not too late; anyway, I need you to clean this place up. Handle it silently, and try not to leave any traces!” Ethan casually ordered the young man.
The young man nodded and asked with curiosity, “Understood, we will take care of it. However, Mr. Wilson... How did you find this place?”
“I have my ways. Putting that aside, your speed is quite impressive. Let's discuss later, since we have more important matters to attend to.”
“No problem! I'll take Sarah back to the hotel first, so you guys go ahead!” Ethan said and walked toward the courtyard.
Sarah immediately followed suit. Even if the Harris family brought more people now, they couldn't compare to the sense of security Ethan gave her.
Everything tonight scared her, but he immediately came and rescued her, just like in the movies.
He was like a prince charming!
Any normal woman would be moved by him!
She didn't want anything else right now, but only to be with him.
As for Wally, Ethan knew the Harris family would deal with him. Since he already cut off one of his hands, he already got revenge for the gunshot earlier.
Only after safely bringing Sarah back to the hotel room did Ethan remind her, as she still looked dazed, “Your grandpa must be worried about you. You should call him!”
Hearing Sarah’s voice through the call, Clarence sighed in relief and asked about her rescue.
After listening to her story, his mind immediately clicked and he asked to speak with Ethan for a moment.
She promptly handed the phone to Ethan.
“Ethan, I owe you another favor for tonight!” Clarence's voice echoed, which stirred something in Ethan's heart.
