Chapter 348 Crumbling With A Bang

Ignatius was furious, shocked by Ethan's cockiness after reaching Half-Step Grandmaster, even disregarding Dorian."

"Let's see what you've got!" Ignatius snarled, standing up and glaring at Ethan.

Even though Ethan's earlier hit hurt him bad, Ignatius wasn't down for the count.

"If you're gonna stop me from saving my mom, I'll take you out first!" Ethan snapped, vanishing and reappearing in front of Ignatius in a flash.

Ignatius was stunned. He couldn't believe Ethan moved so fast!

Ethan was pumped. This was his first fight since reaching Half-Step Grandmaster. He'd mastered dividing consciousness and learned the third part of the ZF knack technique.

The first two parts of the ZF knack were about mental strength and super energy, but the third part was all about advanced skills, ones regular warriors couldn't touch even with a lifetime of training.

With a roar, Ethan's fist slammed into Ignatius's chest, then a second punch, then a third.

After a dozen punches, Ignatius was a mess, smashed into a wall, looking pitiful.

"How... how are you this strong?" Ignatius gasped, eyes wide, before passing out in the wall.

"Sorry, no clue. Maybe you're just too weak!" Ethan was shocked by his own power. He knew he could beat Ignatius, but not this easily!

Roy, nearby, was terrified of Ethan.

Ignatius, a Half-Step Grandmaster, was no match for Ethan!

"Take me to my mom now!" Ethan demanded. Ignatius was out cold and couldn't stop him from rescuing Jessie. Ethan didn't plan to kill Ignatius; if anyone had to die, it would be Dorian.

Roy, shaking, pointed to a passage and led the way.

The heavy basement door creaked open, revealing a small, simple room where Ethan finally saw Jessie.

Jessie sat on the bed, deep in thought. She knew she couldn't stall much longer and that Roy or Dorian would soon catch on. The sudden sound of the door opening jolted her.

When the door opened and she saw a familiar yet strange face, Jessie was stunned, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Mr. Wilson, I brought you here like you asked. Please, let me go; I don't want to die!" Roy begged Ethan.

But Ethan wasn't paying attention to Roy; his eyes were locked on Jessie.

"You... you're Ethan!" Jessie trembled, standing up from the bed, her voice shaking.

"Mom, it's really you!" Ethan, even more excited, ran over and hugged Jessie tightly.

"Ethan!" Jessie’s doubts melted away in the embrace.

Her intuition was right; the young man in her arms was indeed her long-lost Ethan.

"It's me. I've come to save you! I'm sorry, Mom, for letting the Ashford family trap you for so long without knowing!" Ethan said, nodding excitedly.

"Ethan, how did you get in here?" Jessie quickly calmed down. She knew the Ashford family's strength and Dorian's ruthlessness. She couldn't let anything happen to Ethan.

"I fought my way in! No one will imprison you anymore. I'm getting you out of here!" Ethan knew this wasn't the place to talk. He picked up Jessie and vanished from the room.

"Mr. Wilson, wait for me!" Roy was left in shock. He shouted in fear and ran towards the elevator.

When he reached it, he saw Ethan carrying Jessie inside.

Too scared to stay behind, Roy quickly followed them in.

Ethan ignored Roy, letting him tag along as they went upstairs. By then, the Ashford family's experts had gathered in the courtyard, reacting to Ethan's fight with Ignatius.

While notifying Dorian, they were ordered to stop Ethan at all costs.

"Anyone who blocks me will die!" Ethan warned coldly, eyeing the thirty or so warriors in the courtyard.

As he carried Jessie out, the warriors exchanged glances and then charged at him.

Ethan had no intention of putting Jessie down. Even without using his hands, his legs were enough to take them out.

The gap in strength between a warrior and a Half-Step Grandmaster was clear.

In just a few seconds, more than half the warriors were down, with only about ten still standing.

"Anyone else not afraid of death, come on!" Ethan sneered, ready to leap over the courtyard wall with Jessie in his arms.

"Ethan, since you're here, I won't let you go!" A gust of wind came at Ethan. His expression changed, and he spun in mid-air, retreating into the courtyard.

At the critical moment, Dorian had arrived!
