Chapter 433 A Sudden Idea
Alice walked into the living room and asked, "Where are you headed next? Can I tag along?"
"Sure, if you want," Ethan laughed, summoning the Sun and Moon Beads. He drew a circle in the air, opening a portal.
"Wow! What's this?" Alice's eyes widened at the spinning portal.
"Why not step in and find out?" Ethan said. Suddenly, Alice felt a flash and a powerful force, making her a bit dizzy.
In a few moments, the scenery changed. Alice found herself on a mountain path surrounded by rolling hills, like a fairyland.
"Is this the Tiger Mount secret realm you mentioned?" Alice asked, excited. She'd heard about it from Chloe and others but had never seen it.
"Yep. I need to meet Francis at the Breeze Pavilion up there. Let's go!" Ethan said, leading the way.
Before they reached the pavilion, Francis's annoyed voice called out, "Another woman, Ethan?"
"What are you talking about? She's with me. I'm the head of the ZF Guild. Why can't she come to Tiger Mount?" Ethan shot back.
"That's not what I meant! You must have something important if you're here," Francis said, dropping the argument.
"Yeah, I need your opinion on something," Ethan sighed.
"What's got you so worked up?" Francis asked, surprised.
"Ask him yourself," Ethan said, tossing a bottle containing Asura Bloodhand to Francis.
Francis caught the bottle, realizing the issue involved Asura Bloodhand, making him curious.
"Let me ask first," Francis said, glancing at Alice before heading into the pavilion with the bottle.
"Don't mind him. Let's take a walk. The scenery here is great," Ethan shrugged, leading Alice along the forest path.
An hour later, they returned to find Francis frowning at the bottle.
"How'd it go?" Ethan asked, sitting across from him.
"He seems to be telling the truth," Francis nodded after a moment.
"Know any other secret realms besides Tiger Mount?" Ethan asked.
"Besides Tiger Mount? You know another one, right?" Francis looked at Ethan like he was clueless.
"Celestia Vale?" Ethan asked, catching on.
"Yep, Celestia Vale is another self-contained world. There used to be many such secret realms. We don't know where they all are now, but they definitely existed," Francis said seriously.
"What do you think? Should we team up and explore it?" Ethan asked, excited.
"No, I can't leave," Francis replied firmly.
Ethan realized that if Francis left Tiger Mount, the elders of Celestia Vale would sense it, and everyone would know about the new secret realm.
"So, I have to go alone?" Ethan frowned.
"Don't go until you reach master level," Francis advised.
"Why? Is it too dangerous now?" Ethan asked, surprised.
"Whoever created that secret realm was likely beyond grandmaster level, maybe even stronger than Arthur. Do you think you can handle the traps or trials inside? Even if there's something to inherit, can you pass the tests that this demon couldn't? You'll just waste one of your three tries," Francis explained calmly.
Ethan's excitement faded. "So, I have to wait until I'm a master to explore it," he sighed.
Though reluctant, he knew Francis was right; it wasn't the time to take risks.
"Aren't you preparing to take over as head of the Wilson family?" Francis asked suddenly.
"In a few days. I wanted to visit Infinite Mountain first, but now it seems unnecessary. If someone tracks me, it'll expose the target," Ethan said, shaking his head.
"I'll handle Asura Bloodhand and the bottle for you," Francis offered.
"How?" Ethan was surprised. If Asura Bloodhand was truthful, keeping him alive could help with future explorations.
"Tiger Mount has various devil's traps. With my cultivation, I can hold him for a while. The bottle will eventually go back to Celestia Vale," Francis said calmly.
"That works. If I need demonic energy, I can come here," Ethan agreed after a moment.
"If there's nothing else, you should go back. I'll take Asura Bloodhand to where he belongs," Francis said, turning and walking into the pavilion.
"How boring. I can't go where I want for now. Let's head back," Ethan said, opening the portal and taking Alice back to the villa.
"Back from Tiger Mount again?" Jessie asked casually from the living room, not surprised to see them.
"Yeah, talked to Francis. By the way, Mom, I've started training Chloe and Sarah. Since you're already a warrior, it won't be too hard. I'll see if I can help you reach Half-Step Grandmaster. How about that?" Ethan said, suddenly interested in helping Jessie improve her strength.
