Chapter 595 Fell Out
"Patricia from the Ladies Guild is super protective, and Bonnie's her star disciple. If she finds out, she might come after us," Fabio warned Alessandro, looking a bit uneasy.
Alessandro thought for a moment, clearly worried about Patricia. "Alright, let's just keep Bonnie here too. Once we get what we want, we'll let them go. What's Patricia gonna do then?" Alessandro decided, a cold glint in his eyes as he smirked.
"But Bonnie's at the Half-Step Grandmaster level. Regular Half-Step Grandmasters can't handle her. If she tries to escape, it could be a problem," Fabio said, hesitating.
"Useless, all of you. I'll handle it myself," Alessandro snapped, getting up and walking out.
Ethan, who had been eavesdropping, had a strange look on his face. 'Bonnie is Patricia's disciple? Perfect chance to stir things up between the hidden sects,' he thought. Ethan quickly formed a plan and followed Alessandro and Fabio down the mountain.
At the foot of the mountain, Bonnie was pacing with a whip in her hand, looking up anxiously. Knowing Margare was being held on the mountain, she would've rushed up if not for someone blocking her way.
Just then, Alessandro and Fabio showed up, making Bonnie perk up. Sensing Alessandro's powerful aura, Bonnie became more cautious and greeted him respectfully.
"Are you Patricia's disciple, Bonnie?" Alessandro asked coolly.
"Yes, Margare was mistakenly captured by your people a few days ago. Could you release her for Patricia's sake?" Bonnie quickly explained.
"I do respect Patricia. But Margare is still on the mountain. Why don't you go up and get her yourself?" Alessandro nodded slowly, seeming to agree easily.
"Isn't it said that outsiders aren't allowed on Vast Mountain now? You’re letting me go up?" Bonnie asked cautiously, not losing her cool.
"Outsiders aren't allowed to prevent any mishaps. But since you're from the Ladies Guild, it's different. ML Guild and Ladies Guild have some connections." Alessandro nodded with a smile.
"In that case, I'll take the liberty," Bonnie said, following Fabio up the mountain, more focused on finding Margare than anything else. She didn't expect ML Guild to capture her too.
"I guarantee if you go up now, you won't come back down!" a man's voice suddenly sounded from the side.
"Who dares to hide in ML Guild?" Alessandro's face changed, and he struck towards the voice.
With a cold laugh, Ethan easily deflected Alessandro's fierce strike with a casual wave of his hand. In no time, Ethan neutralized Alessandro's strongest strike with ten consecutive palm strikes. Alessandro, slightly inferior to Seth, was no match for Ethan.
"Who are you?" Alessandro's face changed, realizing Ethan's strength, as he could hide nearby unnoticed and easily deflect his full-force strike.
Bonnie, seeing the masked Ethan suddenly appear, felt his voice was familiar and frowned in suspicion.
"Just a meddler who can't stand a master level deceiving a girl," Ethan explained indifferently.
"You've got a lot of nerve meddling in ML Guild's affairs. And when did I deceive her?" Alessandro's heart sank, and he shouted angrily at Ethan.
"Really? Did I hear wrong?" Ethan sneered.
"What did you hear?" Bonnie asked, frowning. Ethan's reminder made her realize Alessandro might have ulterior motives in inviting her up the mountain. He could just have Margare brought down.
"They were planning to keep you here too," Ethan bluntly revealed, making Alessandro's face darken.
"Don't listen to his nonsense. ML Guild and Ladies Guild have always been friendly. How could we do such a thing?" Alessandro immediately defended himself to Bonnie.
"If you're sincere, why not just have Margare brought down? It would avoid any misunderstanding," Ethan sneered.
"Indeed, please have Margare brought down," Bonnie, now wary, requested Alessandro.
"You're so ungrateful. I was lenient for Patricia's sake, but you listen to others' provocations. Today, I'll keep you here and visit the Ladies Guild to ask Patricia how she taught you." Seeing his plan exposed, Alessandro decided to use force and grabbed at Bonnie.
Bonnie couldn't evade Alessandro. Just as she was about to be captured, Ethan rushed in from the side, shielding her.
