Chapter 143 It's Too Late for Regrets
At this moment, Sarah stared strangely at Ethan. She couldn't figure out how Ethan had managed to do it.
Based on her investigation and understanding, Ethan's personal assets were only a few billion dollars after leaving the Cloud Group.
Acquiring five coal enterprises in one go required not only billions of dollars but also a vast network and influence.
Since the incident in Seattle, she had always suspected that Ethan had secretly cultivated his own power, especially that suspicious Pray Investment Company.
She had also looked into that investment company before, but it was too difficult for Sarah to deeply investigate the relationship between them and Ethan because it was an overseas company!

"No... Who? Dad... What happened?"
Tommy suddenly felt a chill in his heart, but he still didn't want to believe that this matter had
anything to do with Ethan!
"What do you mean what happened? Several shareholders suddenly sold off their shares in the group. Now, over seventy percent of the shares are in one person's hands. This means that from now on, this group will no longer be mine! You useless prodigal, tell me the truth!"
Angrily, the roar came through the phone, sounding piercing even without the speakerphone.
Tommy seemed completely dumbfounded, his terrified gaze locked onto Ethan, not knowing how to respond to his father's questioning!
"Why aren't you saying anything? You bastard, I warn you, no matter who you offended, apologize to them immediately. If you can't gain their forgiveness, I will disown you as my son. Die outside, and don't bother coming back to me!"
Tommy's father roared once again and then hung up the phone.
Tommy felt completely paralyzed.
The others had almost the same reaction after answering the phone.
Three of them immediately knelt down and started begging for forgiveness with tears and snot pouring down their faces when they came to their senses.
Obviously, these guys were scared, and they finally realized how terrifying Ethan was. Besides begging for forgiveness, they had no other choice!
However, Ethan ignored them and held Sarah's hand as they walked towards the hotel front desk.
Especially Tommy, who finally reacted and quickly rushed to Ethan, kneeling in front of him and begging for mercy with tears running down his face.
If Ethan didn't forgive him, how could he go on living if his father let him suffer the consequences of his actions?
"Enough, I don't have time to waste with you, and I don't need your apologies. It's too late to regret now. Before I lose my temper, it's best for you to disappear from my sight immediately. Otherwise, I can acquire your family's company and hand over the evidence of your past actions to certain relevant departments tomorrow!"
Ethan remained unmoved and warned them with a cold face and a stern voice.
The guys paled at his words. At this point, they had no courage to doubt or deny Ethan's words.
These guys were obviously guilty and likely had many lawsuits against them. Once exposed, they probably couldn't escape and might end up in prison together!
Without any hesitation, the five of them immediately stood up and, together with their bodyguards, rushed out of the hotel, quickly disappearing from Ethan's sight.
Perhaps they could still survive without their businesses, but it would be more cruel to make these pampered guys go to jail than to kill them. None of them were willing to bear such a price!
Ethan snorted and shifted his gaze back to Sarah, taking her with him to the hotel front desk to get their room key.
The hotel guests and staff were all stunned. No one expected that the infamous guys would be easily dealt with by an outsider like Ethan, and even kneeling and begging for forgiveness couldn't satisfy him. What was this guy's identity?
Even the girl responsible for issuing room keys at the front desk couldn't help but show a fearful expression when facing Ethan.
Ethan couldn't help but smile bitterly, wondering if he really looked that terrifying. In reality, it was mainly because of the mess in the hotel, which was entirely caused by Ethan. If an ordinary person saw this scene, who wouldn't feel scared?
Luckily, Sarah had made the hotel reservation and took care of the check-in process with the front desk. Ethan stayed further back, which eased the tension on the face of the front desk girl.
While Sarah was checking in, she also paid for the tables and chairs that Ethan had broken. Although she only gave two thousand dollars, even if it was less, it was unlikely that the hotel manager would dare to find trouble with Ethan.
This genius who had just acquired five coal companies was not someone they could afford to offend.
They were afraid that with one wrong move, their hotel could become theirs!
Finally, they completed the check-in process, and Ethan and Sarah went upstairs.
"Hey... where is my room key?" Ethan looked at Sarah, who was opening the door to the room, and quickly asked.
"What do you mean, your room key? Isn't this our room key?" Sarah said inexplicably as she waved the room key in her hand.
"You only booked one room?" Ethan immediately widened his eyes.
"We are already boyfriend and girlfriend, so why would we need to book two rooms? What do you mean? Don't you want to be with me?" Sarah immediately questioned aggressively with a stern face.
"That's not what I meant. It's just that everything is happening a bit too fast! I'm not prepared yet," Ethan explained awkwardly.
Sarah immediately rolled her eyes and said in an annoyed tone, "You act like I'm trying to take advantage of you. Are you even a man?"
Upon hearing this, Ethan became angry. "Don't talk nonsense. I'll take it as if you're challenging me. Do you really want to test if I'm a man or not?"
"If you have the guts, bring it on. I'm right here with you!" Sarah responded dismissively and walked straight into the room.
Ethan was instantly deflated. He could only helplessly follow her into the room.
Once inside the room, Ethan realized that Sarah had done this intentionally. She only booked a room with a large bed, and there was no couch to lie on, apart from the tables and chairs.
