The discussions around grew louder but Clint and Jovan were already completely deaf to the astonishment of the crowd!
From the initial shock, anger, to later numbness, they didn't know how to react anymore!
It was only when an entire basketball-sized piece of jade appeared that Jovan sat down on the ground, defeated and shocked.
“Alex, how did you do it?”
Hannah stared at Ethan in disbelief.
“If I say it's pure luck, would you believe me?” Ethan calmly asked in return.
For a moment, everyone looked at Ethan as if he were a monster!
“He actually says it's luck? Who would believe him?”
“I do. He's just incredibly lucky!”
“You there, can you possibly not be so careless with this emerald?”
“Can I buy it? I'll offer one billion!”
“You're being too stingy; can you really say no to a billion? I'll offer three billion!”
“I'll offer five billion... I can transfer the money or write you a check right this instant!”
The scene instantly turned chaotic, with numerous wealthy jewelers crowding around Ethan, unable to get a word in edgewise!
Hannah couldn't help but feel bitter. Although in her heart she felt envious and hoped that Ethan would sell her the jade, her company was only worth a few million dollars. What right did she have to compete with these big companies when it came to price?
Even if Ethan was willing to sell it to her, she wouldn't be able to take out that much money!
However, Ethan's next words left everyone stunned!
“I don't intend to sell this jade to anyone! Miss Collins, I'll give this jade to you. You can figure out what to do with it!”
His words were like a bolt of lightning, shocking everyone to the core!
He was giving this enormous jade, worth at least five billion, directly to another woman?!
Was this guy out of his mind?
“But... I don’t have that much money!”
Hannah was also taken aback by this sudden 'surprise' from Ethan!
“I don't need your money. Just give me some of your company’s shares, and this jade will be my investment!”
Ethan didn't mind helping this woman. After all, a few billion was just a number to him, and it wouldn’t make a significant difference.
“But... My company is only...”
Hannah couldn't believe it. Even if she gave her company to Ethan, she still wouldn't be able to buy this jade. However, Ethan interrupted her directly.
“There's no need to say more. I know you need it! Plus, I don't think this investment will necessarily incur losses.”
Ethan's tone was unquestionable, making Hannah’s heart tremble!

“Oh, and I have one more condition!”
He then glanced at Clint not far away, pointing at him and saying, “Fire this guy. I don't want to see him in the company anymore!”
Hannah was taken aback once again, but she didn't hesitate to nod and agree, “Alright, even if you didn't mention it, I was already planning to do so.”
Clint immediately jumped up, pointing at Hannah and cursing loudly, “You want to fire me, Hannah? Have you forgotten who helped you when your company was in its most difficult phase? Are you really repaying kindness with enmity?”
“This is your own doing, and besides, Alex is now the company’s biggest shareholder. He has the rights to fire you. Blame yourself for thinking too highly of yourself!”
Hannah responded coldly, unperturbed.
“You're wrong. His problem is not arrogance, but greed! Let someone thoroughly investigate the company's accounts!”
Ethan subtly reminded Hannah with his words.
Upon hearing this, Clint's complexion immediately changed.
“You two… Just you wait and see!”
“This isn't over! Hannah, don't think that kicking me away with one foot is going to settle anything. I’ll make sure you pay the price!”
With these harsh words, he turned around and ran!
Hannah could see a lot of information from this and was even more shocked by Ethan's unfathomable nature.
Now, Jovan was alone. He glanced at Ethan, intending to secretly leave with Clint's help.
However, Ethan saw through Jovan's plan a long time ago.
“Mr. Foster, don't be in such a hurry to leave. You haven’t kept you end of the bet, no? So many people are watching. It's a total of ten million dollars. After you transfer the money, feel free to go wherever you want! I won't stop you!”
Ethan's voice was like thunder, shattering Jovan's last trace of hope.
At the same time, everyone remembered the previous bet and immediately made way between Ethan and Jovan!
Some even directly blocked Jovan's retreat for Ethan!
“...Alex, I didn't expect you to be a master as well! My little tricks are nothing compared to you. I was just joking earlier, nothing serious!” Jovan turned around and immediately forced out an ugly smile while explaining to Ethan.
“Joking? Mr. Foster, I was quite serious just now, and so many people witnessed it. And you’re telling me you were joking?” Ethan sneered.
He knew it wouldn't be easy to make this old guy willingly admit defeat in a bet!

Jovan's face turned extremely ugly, and he even threatened Ethan with his own status.
“You damn bastard, you don't care about dignity! I don't give a shit about your association. Swindle me out of my money, and the price may be more than you can bear! If you don't pay me today, best believe you won't be able to walk out of here!”
Ethan was furious and warned Jovan in a hostile tone.
Just then, there was suddenly a commotion outside the crowd, and an old man walking towards this side was escorted by several young venue staff members.
“Isn't that Beckett, Novaria Mineral Association’s president? I didn't expect he would be alerted!”

“Who do you think Beckett will support?”

The surrounding voices of the people immediately filled the air with discussions.
“President, you’re here!”
Upon seeing Beckett, Jovan's eyes lit up as if he had found a life-saving straw. He immediately shouted at him with a distressed face.
“What are you doing here?”
Jovan's heart sank immediately; it was clear that Beckett hadn't come to help him!
“Are you the president of the Novaria Mineral Association?” Ethan asked without waiting for Jovan to speak.
“Yes, that’s me. Little brother, may I have a look at the jade in your hands?” Beckett's gaze was completely drawn to the large piece of jade Ethan was holding.
“Of course, you can take a look. But there's something I hope the president can help me with. Someone on your turf owes me ten million dollars. Shouldn't you do something about it?” Ethan casually handed the heavy jade over to Hannah.
Hannah was startled and quickly held it with both hands. However, the jade was too heavy, and she stumbled, almost losing her balance. This caused everyone to gasp and sweat with worry.
Beckett's men quickly stepped forward to support the jade for Hannah, and made Beckett breathed a sigh of relief.
However, Ethan didn't seem to care at all; his gaze was fixed on Beckett.
“Such a thing actually happened? If that’s true, I will definitely help you get the money back!” Beckett immediately agreed.
Jovan's face turned pale!
“That's right. He just made a bet with me and lost ten million dollars; Everyone around can testify! If you want to see the jade, help me get my money first!” Ethan lightly pointed at Jovan and explained.
“Mr. Foster, is this true? Since you lost the bet, you should be willing to accept the loss. Do you want to cheat and not pay up?” Beckett's gaze turned cold as he scolded without a doubt.
If it were anyone else, they would’ve considered the impact and consequences, but Jovan knew Beckett better than anyone, so he naturally complied immediately with Ethan's request!
“Give me the account number, I’ll transfer the money right now!”
Jovan couldn't lie anymore, so he agreed straightforwardly.
After all, he still wanted to continue making money as a senior member of the Novaria Mineral Association, and he wouldn’t dare disobey Beckett's words!
“Transfer it directly to the company's account. I believe you should be used to Miss Collins’ bank account, right?” Ethan sneered.
“I will transfer the money as soon as I get back. Goodbye!”
Jovan snorted resentfully and left the scene dejectedly under everyone's gaze.
Ethan didn't stop him either; he knew Beckett wouldn't allow Jovan to take advantage of his position for his own personal gain!
