Chapter 31 Alarm
"The security guards arrived quickly, consisting a total of ten people!
Led by a captain, they all held rubber batons while some held electric ones them held electric batons, bursting into the CEO's office.
They surrounded Ethan and Chloe with fierce looks.
“Scared now? Do you see how rude I can be now?”
Zachary was smug, crossing his legs and propping them up on the desk. “It's not too late to regret now, as long as you kneel and beg me…”
Ethan no longer listened to his nonsense.

Beside Ethan, Chloe anxiously stomped her feet while holding his wrist. “I said not to let him call, but you never listen. Come on, let's go! We still have time!”
Ethan remained unmoving, shaking his head slightly at her while only uttering, “Wait.”
After about ten seconds.
Zachary finished the call and slammed his phone on the desk, sinisterly mocking, “If you're a man, then don't leave. Within twenty minutes, my people will definitely arrive!”
Ethan didn't even spare him a glance, turning directly toward the sofa for guests. He gestured Chloe to sit next to him, lifting the teapot to pour water. Drinking calmly, he displayed an unparalleled calmness.
“This fool...” Chloe clenched her teeth, feeling completely helpless as her mind raced mind racing with countless thoughts.
If things really escalated here, she’d to call her family at any cost and protect Ethan no matter what.

About twenty minutes later.
A series of urgent alarm sounds, accompanied by the roaring engines of vehicles, came from the road beneath Cloud Infrastructure’s building.
In the CEO's office, Ethan paused slightly while holding a cup of water.

“Captain Clark, you finally showed up!”

“He caused trouble in my company, and even attacked my security guards! He even extorted money from me, threatening my personal safety. Captain, please arrest and punish him severely. Have him sentenced to at least 10 years in prison!”
Clark frowned and turned to look at Ethan, his hand on the gun handle. He said deeply, “Starting trouble and attempted injury is enough for criminal detention. You must come with us now!”
As soon as he said that, two police officers immediately rushed forward. They stood on both side, their eyes fixed on Ethan.
It seemed that if Ethan made any unusual movements, they would immediately take action!
