“Oh, you finally woke up! Sorry for bringing you here this way.”
“We’re here to visit you!”
Frank grinned at Sarah.
She struggled desperately, making continuous but vain sounds!
“Don't be scared! We won't do anything to you. After all, you are the Harris family’s young miss. I'm counting on you to secure a stable life for the rest of my days!”
Frank looked at her terrified expression, laughing triumphantly.
Wally frowned and asked, “Can this woman really make Ethan obedient?”
“I don't know, but she’s indeed the Harris family’s young miss. As long as Clarence is willing to comply, why should we fear Ethan?”
Frank seemed to have everything figured out, confidently reminding.
“I hope you’re right. Otherwise, not only will you be finished, but the entire Crossing Gang and I will also suffer horribly! By that time, I’ll be the first one to take you down.” Wally coldly snorted and turned to leave.
Watching Wally's back, a cold light flashed in Frank's eyes. He glanced at Sarah who was still struggling, turning to leave as well.
The heavy iron door closed once again.
Clarence was on the phone with Carlos, the head of the Harris family in the capital.
On the phone, Carlos's tone was dissatisfied as he scolded, “I can help you find Sarah. After all, she’s still part of our family and not someone anyone can touch! Wait for my news, and then send people to rescue her. However, I hope you can give me a reasonable explanation for Ethan's situation. After arranging everything, he finally put down the phone and sat on the sofa with an uncertain look, pondering about something.
In Seattle’s outskirts, in an abandoned factory’s courtyard.
Frank and Wally sat facing each other at a table with alcohol on it, but neither of them touched it. They were both focused on their watches.
“Half an hour left until 12 o'clock...”
“Has Ethan still not called you?” Wally asked, glancing at the time.
“Don't worry! I’m sure Ethan wouldn't stand by and do nothing if something happened to Sarah,” Frank said, though also with slight doubt.
“Are you both waiting for my call? No need to trouble yourself; I came in person. Oh, I brought a big gift for you!” Just then, a figure appeared about ten meters away in the dimly-lit area, carrying something long and slender. He slowly approached them.
Frank immediately stood up from his chair, “Ethan! How did you manage to find this place?”
“Surprised? Then take a look at who this is,” Ethan chuckled and kicked the rusty iron door open, throwing Louis directly onto the ground.
With a muffled groan, Louis woke up from his unconscious state, struggling to sit up. Gradually, his bewildered look turned into terror as he recalled everything that happened before and looked at Ethan right in front of him!
Frank was even more shocked. He never imagined that Louis would end up in Ethan's hands!
If it weren't for the fear that Wally would trouble for Louis, he would’ve kept his son by his side. However, didn't he send Louis away from Seattle overnight?
“D-Dad, save me!” Louis heard the familiar voice, turning his head in horror as he immediately called for help.
However, Ethan stepped on Louis's lower back and made him scream in pain.
Ethan asked before Frank could speak, “I won't waste words. Your son is in my hands, so can we have a fair trade?”
“You want to use Louis in exchange for Sarah? Do you really think he's worth 15 billion dollars?” Without waiting for Frank's response, Wally sneered beside him.
Clearly, he didn’t care about Louis’s life and death. He only cared about whether he could get the money tonight!
Frank immediately glared at Wally in anger, “What’re you saying, Wally?”
Louis was his only son, but he couldn't let Wally cut ties with him no matter what.
“I'm not doing anything! What, are you going to let the money go?” Wally reminded without any regard.
Frank's face instantly turned upset, silent with his head lowered!
He couldn't bear to hand Sarah over like this; he was clearly unwilling!
“Since you have the guts to come alone, don't blame me for being ruthless. You’re no longer qualified to make a deal with us!” Wally's voice resonated. As soon as he said that, the Crossing Gang’s members had already surrounded them, with hundreds of people completely blocking Ethan's way out.
“Hahaha! It seems you don't care much about your own son. If I had a son like this, even I’d just kill him or let him die!” Ethan's face showed no signs of astonishment. Seeing Frank’s panicked look, Ethan laughed and mocked him.
“What do you mean by that?” Frank's eye twitched, feeling that Ethan's words had a hidden meaning.
Ethan reminded with a playful smile, “Aren't you curious why your son didn't leave for the airport on time, and ended up getting caught by me? Take a look at his current state; can you guess where I found him?”
“What’re you implying?” Frank asked again, his face filled with anger.
Even though he was clever, how could he have ever imagined that his own son would get involved with his own woman?
“Just a moment ago, I got some good footage. Maybe you won't be too happy after watching it, but I think it's necessary for you to know what happened to your son tonight!” Ethan said and switched his phone screen to video playback mode, throwing it toward Frank.
Of course, he controlled himself this time.
This was the footage he recorded earlier.
Frank looked at the video on Louis's phone with confusion. However, his eyes soon widened as he trembled with anger. He was so furious that he almost collapsed!
“You... You actually...” Frank couldn't control himself.
Wally, on the other hand, was surprised by Frank's sudden change of expression. But soon, Louis’s conversation with the woman in the video came to light for everyone present.
Unable to hold back any longer, Frank's anger overwhelmed him as he spurted out blood. His face instantly turned pale!
