Chapter 612 Bonnie with a Bruised Face

Davide shot a quick glance at Dirk, trying to figure out what was going on in his head.

Honestly, Davide was just taking a wild guess, and he didn't really think that the mysterious guy from last night was actually Ethan! But if Ethan was here, it meant Seth was definitely dead. No way Ethan would show up so openly otherwise! And based on last night's encounter, it didn't seem impossible to say that Ethan could have killed Seth.

Dirk, though, didn't even flinch when he heard the news, which threw Davide off a bit. "I've been hunting him down, and now he just walks right into my trap!" Dirk snorted and then smirked.

"I heard Ethan's got some ties with Celestia Vale!" Davide quickly chimed in.

"Is he from Celestia Vale?" Dirk's brow furrowed.

"Not exactly, but..." Davide started to explain, but Dirk cut him off.

"As long as he's not from Celestia Vale, we got nothing to worry about. The head of the Wilson Family is a joke!" Dirk sneered. Davide could only chuckle dryly at that.

Meanwhile, Angel filled Ethan in on everything she had spied on, a mischievous grin on her face. "They know you're here, but they don't think you're a threat!"

Ethan was speechless, but Dirk underestimating him might actually work in his favor. "Let him enjoy his moment. When the full moon hits tomorrow night, we'll see who's laughing then," Ethan snorted.

After wrapping up with Angel, Ethan stood up and called out to Kenneth, who was nearby, "Let's roll!"

Kenneth quickly joined Ethan, curiosity all over his face. "Mr. Wilson, where to next?"

"Back to the Ladies Guild," Ethan said, already moving.

"We just left there, why are we going back?" Kenneth asked, confused, as he hurried to keep up.

"Things have changed, and I need to let them know." Ethan didn't elaborate, and Kenneth didn't push. He felt like Ethan was being all mysterious, but couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Ethan's plan was to spread the word about the treasure in Vast Mountain and get as many hidden sects involved as possible, including the Ladies Guild. But the timing wasn't right yet; they needed to hit Vast Mountain tomorrow night. Plus, the ML Guild had set up a big trap nearby, and he couldn't let the Ladies Guild walk into it, so he had to warn them.

When Ethan and Kenneth got back to the Ladies Guild, they saw a bunch of female disciples on guard outside, while Kimberly was hiding inside, too embarrassed to show her face.

Ethan used his spiritual sense to check inside and couldn't help but chuckle. Kimberly had a bruised face, clearly fresh from a fight. No wonder she didn't want to come out!

'Did Bonnie do this?' Ethan wondered.

"Mr. Wilson, why are you back?" One of the female disciples asked as she walked up to Ethan.

"I need to talk to your leaders. Get Bonnie here, now," Ethan said straight up.

"Bonnie's not seeing anyone right now." The female disciple looked uneasy.

Ethan's heart skipped a beat. He glanced at the house and asked, "Did they fight after I left?"

The female disciples exchanged looks but stayed silent, confirming Ethan's suspicion.

"Can you at least tell me who won?" Ethan chuckled.

"Well, there wasn't really a winner or loser," the female disciple said awkwardly.

"Alright, just tell Bonnie I want to see her. I'll wait ten minutes, tops. If she doesn't show, I'm out," Ethan instructed with a smile.

"Okay, I'll go get her," the female disciple agreed and quickly headed into the valley.

About seven or eight minutes later, Bonnie came out with the female disciple. Clearly, Ethan's words had an impact; Bonnie was really worried he'd leave. But when Bonnie came out, she was wearing a veil, suggesting her condition wasn't much better than Kimberly's.

"Mr. Wilson, you wanted to see me?" Bonnie walked up to Ethan, looking a bit shy, her head down, avoiding eye contact.

"What happened to you? I leave for half a day, and you're already messed up?" Ethan couldn't help but laugh.

"I got into a fight with Kimberly because I was mad. She's got a sharp tongue!" Bonnie pouted, feeling wronged.

"Alright, let me take a look." Ethan chuckled and grabbed Bonnie's wrist. In just a moment, Ethan let go and a silver needle appeared in his hand.

"Mr. Wilson, what are you doing?" Bonnie got nervous.

"Don't you want to look like yourself again? I'm helping you heal! Luckily, these are just surface wounds. You two really went at it, even hitting each other's faces!" Ethan teased with a smile, and before Bonnie could react, he had already inserted the silver needle into her lower abdomen.

Bonnie's eyes widened, and just as she was about to speak, she felt a warm current flow into her Sea of Qi, making her whole body feel incredibly comfortable. The pain from her fight with Kimberly vanished instantly. If Ethan hadn't pulled the needle out in time, Bonnie might have been lost in that wonderful sensation!

"Alright, take off the veil. It looks weird," Ethan reminded the still-dazed Bonnie.

"Am I really healed?" Bonnie checked herself in surprise and found that the pain was indeed gone. She was overjoyed and quickly removed the veil, then took out her phone to check her face with the camera. Seeing that there was no trace of injury and her complexion was even better than before, she was ecstatic.

"Feeling better now?" Ethan asked.

"Great, Mr. Wilson, thank you!" Bonnie was naturally overjoyed. Girls cared about their looks.

In her excitement, Bonnie hugged Ethan and gave him a big kiss on the cheek. The sudden silence was palpable, and the atmosphere turned awkward. Everyone's eyes widened in surprise, staring at the equally stunned Bonnie.
