Chapter 338 The Demon Appeared
"What are you doing?" Ethan asked suspiciously.
"Wait a moment!" Jesse didn't explain but took out a string of beads. He broke the string, and all the beads scattered into his palm.
Ethan quietly watched as Jesse methodically shot the beads into the surrounding soil, where they quickly disappeared.
"This is a magic array. If I had time to set this up earlier, Ronald wouldn't have had the chance to injure me seriously!" Seeing Ethan's curious expression, Jesse explained with a smile before he could ask.
"We don't even know where he is. Aren't you afraid you'll die before he gets here if you set up the array here?" Ethan reminded with a frown.
"That's why I'm planning to wait for him right here!" Jesse sat down on the spot.
"Alright then, I'll go up alone!" Ethan didn't object and prepared to continue upward.
"Wait, you don't need to go up. We'll wait here; he'll show up naturally!" Jesse immediately called Ethan back.
Ethan pondered for a moment and agreed that Jesse made sense, so he sat down beside him.
The person in the video didn't specify the exact location, but he was clearly confident in finding them within Silvermist Peak. Instead of searching mindlessly, it was better to wait for the opponent to come to them.
After waiting for about five minutes, Jesse was the first to sense a powerful presence approaching.
"He's here!" Jesse immediately alerted.
Simultaneously, Ethan felt the Sun and Moon Beads tremble, similar to the first time he encountered Andrew. Fortunately, with his increased strength, he could now control the beads, preventing them from flying out of his grasp.
On a nearby rocky outcrop, a black mist suddenly surged, and a dark figure appeared in the dim night.
"Which one of you is Ethan?" A harsh, raspy voice came from the mist, sending chills down their spines.
"I am. Are you Andrew's master, Asura Bloodhand?" Ethan stood up and asked directly.
"Asura Bloodhand? It's been years since anyone called me that. It's quite nostalgic!" Asura Bloodhand seemed to reminisce upon hearing Ethan's words.
"I don't have time for your nonsense. Where are Sharon and Gabriella?" Ethan asked coldly.
"So, you really care about this woman!" Asura Bloodhand laughed eerily, and two familiar figures appeared, bound to two large trees and enveloped in black mist, unable to move.
"What do you want to release them?" Ethan frowned as he looked at the unconscious Sharon and Gabriella.
"Hand over the two beads, and I'll release them. I won't trouble you either. I might even take you as my apprentice and make you my sole successor!" Asura Bloodhand laid out his conditions, seemingly trying to win Ethan over.
"You're too naive. I won't believe your promises." Ethan sneered dismissively.
"I'm giving you a chance. If I have to take the beads by force, not only will they die, but you might also lose your life!" Asura Bloodhand's voice turned icy.
"If you have time to talk, just come and take them. Don't tell me you're afraid of bullying the weak or worried about Celestia Vale's rules." Ethan mocked without hesitation.
In his view, Asura Bloodhand must have some concerns; otherwise, he wouldn't need to go through so much trouble to lure him to Silvermist Peak.
"Do you really want to force me to act?" Asura Bloodhand's voice was filled with anger as if he was about to crush Ethan.
"Don't scare me; I'm easily frightened! If you really want the beads, it's not impossible, but you must answer one question!" Ethan smiled fearlessly.
"What do you want to know? I'll tell you what I know, but you must hand over the beads afterward, or don't blame me for being ruthless!" Asura Bloodhand warned coldly.
"What do you need the beads for?" Ethan raised an eyebrow.
Ethan didn't notice Jesse's face change when he heard the question.
"You don't know the purpose of the Sun and Moon Beads? They help me increase my power! You've reached the peak of a warrior in just six months because of these beads," Asura Bloodhand laughed and explained.
"Yes, my current strength is due to the Sun and Moon Beads. But the beads are the property of the ZF Guild and can only be used by those with the Ice Cold Constitution and Fire Constitution. You're a demonic cultivator; even if I give you the beads, what use would they be to you?" Ethan admitted frankly and explained the stringent conditions for using the Sun and Moon Beads.
"Is that true?" Asura Bloodhand's voice was full of suspicion.
"I have no reason to lie. I have the Ice Cold Constitution so that I can control the beads. If you get the beads, they'll be useless to you and might even bring you danger, attracting countless experts to fight for them," Ethan warned solemnly, seemingly trying to dissuade Asura Bloodhand.
