As Ethan seemed not to take it seriously, Sarah and Chloe didn't dwell on Jesse's issue either. However, Ethan understood that Jesse was definitely still eyeing his Sun and Moon Beads.
"How are Cherry and Merrick? You should have seen them today, right?" Ethan suddenly turned the conversation towards Chloe.
"Merrick is at the Cloud Group, so I didn't see him. I went to the new branch office today and met my mom," Chloe explained with a nod.
"The branch originally planned to merge with the Cloud Group and use its office, but now that they're separate, they need to choose a new location and hire staff for various departments. Has Cherry already chosen the branch office location so quickly?" Ethan raised an eyebrow and asked.
Before returning to Nova York, he had said that since Cherry was appointed as the general manager of the branch, all matters, including the location, would be left to her. Ethan had no intention of interfering.
"The location has been chosen, but my mom is currently a one-woman show. The elite staff drawn from the Miller family and the Harris family enterprises will take a few days to arrive. For now, it's just initial preparations. She asked me to tell you that the branch is officially set to open next Monday!" Chloe said, watching Ethan's reaction as if afraid he might be displeased.
"Cherry is really efficient. Then, let it be as she wishes. Tell her I have no objections. You and Sarah should start helping her with the branch preparations from tomorrow," Ethan said with a carefree smile.
Cherry had set the opening date for the branch without his consent or consultation, which was autocratic. Ethan was well aware of this but couldn't be bothered to argue with her, especially since she was Chloe's mother.
"Actually, there's something else I want to tell you. My mom has her eye on the old Johnson family building and plans to set up the branch office there," Chloe hesitated for a moment but decided to speak honestly.
"I remember the Johnson family was driven out of Nova York by Cherry and Greg. The properties they left behind ended up in the Miller family's hands. So, Cherry isn't entirely without roots in Nova York," Ethan said, recalling Andrew's attempt to kidnap Chloe, feeling both amused and a bit sentimental.
"The problem is, when the Johnson family was driven out, Cherry didn't think much of their properties. At that time, the Miller family had no plans to expand into Nova York, so she had arranged to sell off the Johnson family's assets," Chloe said with a bitter smile and shook her head.
"I forgot that Cherry has high standards. She really didn't think much of the Johnson family's properties. So, who did the Johnson family's assets end up with? If Cherry really wants that building, can't she buy it back?" Ethan said, finding it somewhat amusing that even choosing a branch office location could be so complicated.
"Andrew owns them now!" Chloe explained with a complex expression.
Hearing this, the smile on Ethan's face instantly faded, and he frowned. "Wasn't Andrew crippled by Greg and left Nova York with the Johnson family? How does he have the guts to come back and even reclaim the Johnson family's assets?"
"I was just as shocked when Cherry told me. What's even more surprising is that Andrew's legs have fully recovered. It's said that he has the support of a mysterious benefactor and has even learned judo, becoming a warrior!" Chloe explained with a serious expression.
"A warrior?" Ethan raised his eyebrows in astonishment.

"It seems Andrew still harbors ill intentions and wants to take revenge on you!" Sarah said dismissively.
Andrew's strength was only on par with Greg's. Although it was unclear what he had encountered recently, he was definitely not a match for Ethan, so there was nothing to worry about. Perhaps the only thing to be cautious about was the bigshot behind Andrew.
"So Cherry wants me to handle this?" Ethan asked, looking at Chloe with a smile.
Chloe looked somewhat embarrassed and hesitant.
"Is there something else you're hiding from me?" Ethan keenly sensed that Chloe seemed to be holding something back and pressed her further.
"Greg... also found Gabriella and Sharon at Andrew's villa." Chloe bit her lip and finally revealed.

"Sharon is your ex-wife. Maybe you should stay out of this. I'll talk to Cherry and have the family send someone else to handle it," Chloe suggested, noticing Ethan's conflicted feelings and feeling a bit concerned for him.
"There's no need for that. Since Cherry asked me to handle this, I can't ignore it. Besides, the grudge between Andrew and me is something I need to resolve myself. After all, Nova York is my territory!" Ethan shook his head.
