Chapter22 Sharon Goes Mad
Everyone turned to look at Beverly as her words left them all in shock.
Was it possible that Ethan's arrogance stems from his backing?
Wilson was also his last name. Was he actually connected to the Wilson family somehow?
Sharon's heart began to churn, but she brushed it from her mind.
How on earth could the worthless Ethan be related to the Wilson family?
It is not possible at all!
She didn't believe it—and she didn't want to believe it!
“Ethan is indeed the Wilson family’s young master.”
In the next moment, Beverly's words settled like a divine proclamation. Everything fell into place.
In an instant, everyone's faces turned alarmingly pale, sweat trickling down their foreheads as their jaws fell in disbelief.
They stared at Beverly, hoping to see a mocking expression as if she was lying!
However, Beverly's expression remained unchanged. Even Jayden, standing behind her, was the same.
It couldn't be that Jayden was pranking them as well, could it?

Ethan was the prestigious heir of England’s first family, an absolute noble!
Everyone’s faces turned even paler than paper, filled with fear and disbelief.
How? Just how?
Sharon felt like she was going crazy. Ethan was clearly just a useless person, so how did he suddenly become the Wilson family’s young master?!
This couldn't be possible!
If that was really his identity, then how could he become the Thomas family’s son-in-law and treat her so obediently?
She didn't believe it, nor could she accept that it was true!
“Jayden, make sure to sever all partnerships with the Thomas family and investigate any illegal activities. I want to receive news of their disappearance from this world within ten minutes.” Ethan instructed indifferently.
“Yes.” Jayden nodded respectfully, pulling out his phone to make arrangements.
Upon seeing Jayden's actions, Uncle Thomas couldn't help but interfere.
Whether Ethan is the heir of the Wilsons or not, he couldn't just stand by and watch the Thomas family go bankrupt.
“Mr. Wilson! It's all a misunderstanding, I swear!”
Uncle Thomas quickly pleaded with Ethan, “We didn't arrive here until after getting Sharon's message. This disgusting woman, Sharon, was the one who planned to frame you. We have nothing to do with this! Go after Sharon if you want to punish someone and let out your rage! We, the Thomas family, won't object even if you kill her!”
He begged desperately to Ethan.
“Yes, this has nothing to do with us. Sharon acted alone! Please spare our family and deal with her instead!”
People from the Thomas family also pleaded one after another.
Not to mention the Wilson family, even if Cloud Group suppresses them, they’d cease to exist!
Now, they can only shift all the blame onto Sharon.
"You bastards! You cowardly group of losers! Do you still not get it? There’s no way he’s the Wilson family's heir. Everything is fake and a show! Are you really begging him for forgiveness? You’ve brought the Thomas family disgrace!” Sharon yelled out.
In Sharon’s mind, three years of marriage had deeply ingrained the image of Ethan being a useless man. She would rather believe in ghosts than believe that Ethan could be the Wilson family’s heir.
It's simply impossible.
At this moment, the urgent sound of a phone ringing broke the silence.
Uncle Thomas answered the call, and a man's anxious voice came through the phone.
“Boss, bad news! All our business partners have severed ties with us!”
“The bank demands immediate repayment of the loan, otherwise they’ll use all the company's assets as collateral.”
“Most of the employees in the company are applying for resignation.”
“Boss, we're about to go bankrupt...”
When Uncle Thomas answered the phone, everyone in the room instinctively fell silent. Everyone could clearly hear the call’s contents.
Suddenly, the members of the Thomas family had incredibly pale faces. Especially so for Sharon, whose mind went blank, the tension she had been holding onto completely snapping!
Jayden had actually done it. Even if Ethan wasn't the Wilson family’s young master, it meant that he was truly part of the Wilsons! Otherwise, he wouldn't have made such a huge sacrifice!
Reality turned out to be the one thing she couldn’t accept and the last thing she believed! She actually drove away and divorced the Wilson family's heir!
She could’ve enjoyed living in unending luxury and magnificence. However, the Thomas family was now bankrupt, and she was left with nothing.
“Mr. Wilson, I beg you! Please spare our family! Please!” Immediately, Uncle Thomas knelt down, banging his head on the ground with blood flowing all over his face.
Seeing this, the rest of the Thomas family also understood what was happening. They quickly followed suit, begging for mercy like Uncle Thomas.
“Are you truly the Wilson family’s heir?” Sharon stared straight at Ethan, still somewhat unwilling to give up.
“Yes.” Ethan's face was cold.
“Your company's cooperation with Cloud Group was thanks to me. That incident where you arrogantly slapped the boss who asked you to accompany him with wine, and he wanted to disfigure you, I was also the one who discreetly settled that.”
"It was all me thanks to me that you and the Thomas family have been living luxuriously all these years. I just wanted to be by your side as a regular person at first, but you grew too arrogant and voracious. Do you have any further questions at this point?” Ethan stated icily.
After hearing his words, Sharon seemed to lose all her vitality. She slumped on the ground as tears streamed uncontrollably.
It turned out that all the prosperity she had once enjoyed had been given to her by her former husband, whom she had regarded as a loser.
All the fame and respect she desired, her luxurious life; she ruined it all by her own hands. She regretted it! She was unwilling!
"Ethan, I know you loved me, otherwise, you wouldn't have given up your status and endured so many years of mistreatment in the Thomas family for me," Sharon desperately begged as she grasped for his clothes. “Won’t you please forgive me this time? I swear that I will love you unconditionally and live a happy life with you.”
It would be better for her to die than to be left with nothing and be despised, especially to be stomped upon in this manner. She needed to win Ethan's forgiveness.
