Chapter 412 Eric Could Take the Place
Ethan shrugged, and a flash of golden light appeared at his lower abdomen. The Sun and Moon Beads floated in front of him.
"What is this?" Herong asked instinctively.
He felt a powerful sense of oppression from the beads, like they were his kryptonite.
"It's a treasure that can drain your energy! Now, feel what it's like to be drained!" Ethan said with a smile. The beads spun rapidly and flew toward Herong's head.
Herong sensed danger and tried to flee, but Ethan wasn't about to let him go.
If it weren't for Alice's text, Ethan wouldn't have bothered with Herong and the royal family's mess. But now, Herong had interfered with his task in Norway, so he couldn't let him leave unscathed.
The beads acted like powerful magnets, pinning Herong in place, making him immobile.
"Stop struggling. I'll make it quick and less painful," Ethan chuckled, controlling the beads to drain Herong's energy.
"Bastard, let me go! If my master finds out, you're done for! He's a master level!" Herong yelled as his energy drained rapidly.
"Another loser who brings up their master when they can't win. Why do I always meet people like you? Grow a pair," Ethan said, raising an eyebrow, gaining useful info from Herong.
Just like with Andrew, then Asura Bloodhand showed up. Disciples were easy, but masters were a hassle.
"If you let me go now, I'll pretend nothing happened. I'll leave Norway and never come back!" Herong begged as the absorption force grew stronger.
"Too childish to think you can just leave," Ethan sneered.
"Ethan, if he repents, why not let him go? He's the Winston family heir," Ryan pleaded.
"Ethan, we should let it go. My dad and I are fine now. No need to offend the Winston family further," Lilia added.
"Afraid of the Winston family's retaliation?" Ethan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"The royal family can't handle more turmoil. We still need the Winston family's support," Ryan explained, looking troubled.
"Then you might need a new sponsor. How about my fiancée Alice's dad, Eric? Give him a title, and he'll be generous!" Ethan was set on dealing with Herong, leaving no room for negotiation.
"Herong can't be released. This isn't just your issue; he's Ethan's enemy now! If you're worried about the Winston family, my dad can support the royal family instead. Others might fear them, but my dad doesn't!" Alice said before Ryan could argue further.
"I don't get it!" Lilia shook her head, confused by the escalation.
"You don't need to understand. If the Winston family dares to step up, I'll erase them!" Ethan's tone was firm, leaving no room for debate.
Ryan and Lilia were speechless, swallowing their words.
Herong's energy was drained. The Sun and Moon Beads trembled, then released him, letting him collapse to the ground, looking near death.
The beads re-entered Ethan's body as if they had never appeared.
Ryan and Lilia were astonished, not understanding where Ethan had hidden the beads. Even Alice, who had only heard of them, was amazed.
"I no longer pose a threat. Can you let me go? I promise the Winston family won't trouble you or the royal family!" Herong pleaded, still terrified.
"Playing dead won't work. You can still cultivate your energy back. Do you think I'm an idiot?" Ethan walked slowly to Herong, expressionless.
"What do you want? Do you really want to kill me?" Herong asked, terrified.
"Kill you? That’s up to you. I don’t care about you, but I won’t let some clown mess with my people or my plans!" Ethan sneered.
"What do you mean?" Herong's face turned pale, avoiding Ethan's gaze.
"Don't you know? How much do you know about my task in Norway?" Ethan squinted, reminding him.
Herong fell silent.
"You can stay quiet, but if I destroy your Sea of Energy, maybe you'll talk!" Ethan chuckled.
"Wait!" Herong broke down, unable to hold it in any longer.
