Chapter 459 Revenge

"You came to bust Jared out, right? Well, now he wants a word. Get over here, it's easier to chat," Ethan said to Enrique with a grin.

"No way, I'm staying right here. Say what you gotta say from there, I can hear you fine." Enrique shook his head like a madman.

"You want me to come over there and drag you myself?" Ethan's smile vanished, his tone turning icy.

"You can't do this to me. Gary's on his way, and he won't let you get away with this." Enrique looked scared out of his mind, still thinking Gary could handle Ethan.

"I said get over here, or you might not see Gary at all," Ethan barked.

Enrique trembled and slowly inched toward Jared, trying to keep his distance from Ethan. He was genuinely freaked out now and didn't dare to push his luck.

"Jared, this one's all yours. Say everything you never had the guts to say before." Ethan patted Jared on the shoulder, and a surge of energy shot through Jared's body.

Jared felt like a new man, no longer weighed down by years of sluggishness. Instead, he felt a rush of strength and relief.

Jared looked at his fists, then locked eyes on Enrique, who was now within arm's reach. Jared's gaze turned steely.

"Enrique, today I'm getting my justice." With a roar, Jared grabbed Enrique by the collar and lifted him off the ground. Before Enrique could even scream, Jared's fist slammed into his stomach.

Punch after punch, from the gut to the chest, from the chest to the head. The pain was so intense Enrique couldn't even scream, his body curling up like a shrimp, legs flailing.

"Stop, stop! Don't hurt my son, you'll kill him!" Ivan shouted, his face pale as he watched Enrique get pummeled. After all, it was his son, and he couldn't bear to see him beaten to a pulp.

"I'm ending him today. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have spent eight years in prison. I've been waiting to settle this score for a long time. I thought I'd never get the chance, but it turns out justice came the day I got out." Jared's eyes were blazing with rage. From the moment he decided to take revenge, he was all in, ready to finish things with Enrique once and for all.

"Everyone, freeze!" A loud shout came from the prison gate, followed by a group of armed soldiers surrounding the area.

Looks like Gary's call to the prison paid off. Warden Lester James had arrived with his crew.

"Lester, save my son, hurry!" Ivan's eyes lit up, and he shouted to Lester.

Lester was baffled, unable to believe someone had the guts to attack Enrique. But when he saw it was Jared holding Enrique, his expression turned even more complicated.

"Jared, what the hell are you doing? You just got out, and now you're beating up Enrique? You wanna go back inside? If you don't stop, my guys will open fire." Lester was in shock, but he couldn't mess around. Enrique was already a mess.

With a gun aimed at his head, Jared finally stopped and turned around, frowning.

"Jared, let him go," Emily cried out, unable to stand seeing Jared threatened.

"What now? These guys are with the Coleman Family!" Gerald was freaking out.

"Chill. They won't do anything. They don't have the guts or the chance to shoot." Jessie tried to calm Gerald and Emily.

"Jared, stop, don't hit him anymore!" Laura, tears streaming down her face, pleaded with Jared.

Everything was happening too fast for Laura. She hadn't expected Ethan to be so strong, easily taking down Ivan and Enrique.

She thought Jared would finally get his revenge and she'd be free. But now, with all these soldiers around, she was worried for Jared.

Jared suddenly let go, and Enrique crumpled to the ground.

"Get him up and take him to the hospital," Lester quickly ordered two soldiers.

"Anyone who lays a finger on him will be dead," Ethan warned.

"Who are you?" Lester asked, eyeing Ethan suspiciously.

"Gary hasn't shown up yet and sent you to be the fall guy?" Ethan squinted at Lester.

Lester was stunned. As the warden, he wasn't dumb. Gary hadn't given him much info, just told him to control the situation and protect Ivan and Enrique. But Ethan seemed to know everything, even that Gary had sent him.

"Who the hell are you?" Lester glanced at the pale-faced Ivan and quickly signaled his men to hold off.

"Why do people from Bankgok always ask that? Who I am doesn't matter. What matters is I'm running the show now. Gary better show up soon, or Ivan and Enrique are dead." Ethan snorted and then turned to Jared, saying, "Go ahead. No one's gonna touch you. Even if you kill him, I'll take the heat."

Seeing Ethan easily intimidate Lester, Jared felt a surge of confidence. But looking at Enrique on the ground, he shook his head. "I can't kill him yet. If I do it now, it's too easy for him."

"Do what you gotta do, as long as it makes you happy." Ethan nodded.

"Get up!" Jared suddenly turned to Laura.

Laura trembled, looking at Jared in disbelief.

"I know you were forced. I never blamed you," Jared said flatly.

"You forgive me?" Laura asked, her voice shaking with emotion.

"I never blamed you, so there's nothing to forgive." Jared turned away, not looking at Laura again, as if he had completely let go of her.

"Hey, you two, come here." Ethan turned his attention to the trembling Jimmy and Bradley, smiling as he waved them over.
