Chapter 246 Come to Beg Ethan

Unexpectedly, all the effort was all in vain. A bunch of so-called experts couldn't even compare to Ethan!

Just as Dorian was irritated and ready to kill these experts, his phone suddenly rang.

Seeing it was Dashiell's number, Dorian had to suppress his anger and answer the call.

"Dorian, save your effort. We all know it's done by Ethan. Don't forget that he cured even the highly respected Remington. The methods he uses are beyond the understanding of ordinary doctors!" As soon as the call was put through, Dashiell got straight to the point.

"What are you trying to say? Are you calling to laugh at me?" Dorian's face was extremely grim. He felt Dashiell was humiliating him.

"Don't get me wrong. There's no point in this stalemate. You are not concerned with temporary gains and losses. I don't mind providing you with some information," Dashiell explained with a smile.

After Dashiell's explanation, Dorian's grim face turned suspicious, then surprised and hesitant.

"Are you serious?" Dorian asked uncertainly.

"How could I joke about something like this? If Ethan wants the Skyline Center, does it matter to give it to him? As long as I handle things on my end, I can help you regain respect completely!" Dashiell reminded confidently.

"Alright, I'll trust you this once." Dorian squinted his eyes and then hung up the phone.

"What did Dashiell say?" Noticing Dorian's unusual expression, Caspar asked.

"He told me not to care about temporary gains and losses. Now that I think about it, he might have a point!" Dorian explained indifferently, without mentioning the key details Dashiell had shared.

"It's not the Wilson family that's in trouble. He hasn't considered the consequences!" Caspar snorted disapprovingly.

"He's right. Since it's already settled, why deceive ourselves? Didn't you want Kenny to come back sooner? I'll call him now!" Dorian snorted noncommittally, then took out his phone and dialed Ethan's number.

However, even though Ethan's phone rang, no one answered. Dorian called three times, but there was no response.

"Why isn't he answering? The constant ringing is so annoying!" Ethan's phone kept ringing while he was on the street, but he didn't answer, leaving Sarah puzzled.

"Is it Dorian calling?" Chloe asked thoughtfully.

"Chloe, you're smart." Ethan grinned. Seeing it was Dorian calling, he ignored it.

"Why aren't you answering the call? Dorian is probably desperate by now!" Sarah reminded in confusion.

"He's more anxious than I am. Why should I answer his call?" Ethan chuckled indifferently.

"What's the point of ignoring him like this?" Chloe asked, puzzled.

"I knew from the start he'd come to me, but I didn't expect it so soon. If he didn't struggle a bit before compromising, I'd look down on him!" Ethan shook his head noncommittally.

"He's already calling you on his initiative, and you're still mocking him!" Sarah rolled her eyes.

"Then let him come to see me! It seems we can't go shopping now. Let's head back to the Harris's place. Also, tell Percival to come to the Harris's place as a guest. It's been a while since he chatted with Carlos, hasn't it?" Ethan sighed helplessly and reminded Chloe.

"I'll make a call." Chloe immediately understood his intention and took out her phone to call Percival.

In the hospital, Dorian, after several unanswered calls to Ethan, was infuriated again.

"Ethan, you are shameless! You're going too far!" he roared in anger, nearly crushing his phone.

"Ethan was reluctant to answer your calls? What does he want?" Caspar asked suspiciously. She pondered, 'Ethan aims to have the Skyline Center. Now that Dorian is willing to give it to him, why is Ethan avoiding Dorian?'

"He wants me to go and beg him personally!" Dorian immediately revealed Ethan's intention.

Upon hearing this, Caspar turned extremely grim.

In recent years, due to health reasons, Percival had lost contact with the Harris family. Even though the two families still had business dealings, he was not involved in them.

Returning to the Harris's place, Percival felt a mix of emotions. He never thought that, as a dying man, he would stand at the Harris family's doorstep again! If it weren't for Ethan, he might already have perished by now.

"Percival, it's been years. I've missed you!" As the door opened, Carlos, accompanied by Clarence, appeared at the gate with a smile.

"Carlos, you haven't changed a bit! We owe this reunion to Ethan." Percival smiled and nodded in response.

Ethan, along with Chloe and others, came out to greet Percival, each exchanging pleasantries with him.

"Is there a particular reason you asked me to come to the Harris family?" Percival asked Ethan directly, as Chloe had only mentioned coming over without specifying the reason.

"Of course, there's a reason for asking you to come. First, it's been years since you and Carlos met each other, and it's time to catch up. After all, our families will continue to cooperate. Also, an important friend will be arriving soon. Wouldn't you want to meet them?" Ethan explained with a smile.

"You've got guts. This is clearly to embarrass Dorian, isn't it?" Percival immediately understood his intention, as he had also been following the situation with the Ashford family.

"If he wants something from me, he needs to look like he wants something. Besides, your trip won't be in vain. Alexander and Jayden will be here soon. We need to discuss the matters of the new group. Once decisions are made, they must be implemented immediately to avoid complications!" Ethan reminded with a smile.

"Alright, it seems a bit rushed, but at my age, I'll go along with your madness this once!" Percival laughed heartily.

Chatting and laughing, they entered the Harris’s estate and then took their seats.

After a short chat, Alexander and Jayden arrived at the Harris family. They were already frequent visitors, and they had been in constant contact with the Harris family these past few days, making them familiar with the place.

Shortly after their arrival, a servant reported that Dorian and Caspar had arrived.

The couple came alone without any entourage, clearly trying to keep a low profile.

"Dorian indeed has some guts. He's quite a character. I have to give him credit." Percival nodded and smiled.

"Let them in," Carlos instructed the servant calmly.

Soon, Dorian and Caspar appeared. They looked indifferent, as if all the previous unpleasantness had never happened.

"Long time no see, everyone." Dorian bowed slightly to Carlos, Percival, and the others, his gaze not lingering on Ethan and the other juniors. He still remained his dignity as the head of the Ashford family.

"You are too kind. Since you're here, you're our guests. Please, have a seat first." Carlos nodded with a smile and then instructed the servants to serve Dorian and Caspar.
