Chapter 247 Get What He Wants

"I heard Isolde has been discharged. So, Dorian and I came by and check on her. After all, it was the juniors from the Ashford family who caused the trouble in the first place," While Dorian still held his pride, Caspar humbled herself and spoke first.

Ethan and others exchanged glances, holding back their laughter to save face for Dorian and Caspar.

People often found life exhausting because they worried about too many things, especially when they lived for their pride.

Ethan really wanted to ask them whether they were tired.

"Thank you both for your concern. Isolde has indeed been discharged. It was just a false alarm. The conflicts among the young ones shouldn't be something we, as elders, hold onto. Besides, didn't Lucian already apologize?" Carlos responded with a smile.

Dorian thought to himself, 'Everyone knows the real culprit is Ethan, but I can't lose my temper. I come here to ask for help today!'

"Carlos, may I ask who cured Isolde? We had so many renowned doctors check on her, and none could help. Isolde couldn't have recovered on her own, right?" Although Caspar was indignant, she continued the conversation as if nothing had happened.

Dorian and Caspar both valued their pride and didn't want to state their intentions directly, so they had no choice.

"Aren't you two tired? Just say it—Ethan cured Isolde. If you want to cure Lysander, you have to ask him for help. There's no other option!" Percival, with his straightforward personality, couldn't stand their pretense and thus revealed the truth directly!

Dorian's expressionless face twitched slightly, and he took a deep breath.

"Ethan, can you really cure Lysander?" Caspar cursed Percival in her heart but ignored him, turning to Ethan to ask.

Thanks to Percival, Caspar finally got to the point.

"What if I can? What if I can't?" Ethan held back his laughter and responded ambiguously.

"If you can cure Lysander, we hope you will help us wake him up. As far as I know, he's also a friend of yours. You wouldn't just stand by and do nothing," Caspar explained, suppressing her anger.

"I do have a way to cure him, but as you can see, I just cured Isolde. Such treatments require a great deal of effort from me. If I treat two people in a short period, it will have serious effects on me. It's really difficult." Ethan sighed, looking very troubled.

"So, how long do you think it will take before you can treat Lysander?" Caspar gritted his teeth and asked.

"It's hard to say. It depends on my recovery, and my mood is the most important factor. If I'm in a good mood, I might be able to treat Lysander today!" Ethan explained earnestly.

"Mood? Are you in a bad mood now?" Caspar snorted.

"Mrs. Ashford, you're right. There's something on my mind, like wanting something but not being able to get it no matter what. You understand that feeling, right?" Ethan pretended to be surprised and nodded in agreement.

Hearing this, Caspar looked at Dorian.

Anyone could tell that what Ethan wanted was the ownership of the Skyline Center!

"As long as you can cure Lysander, I can transfer the Skyline Center to you unconditionally! But you must ensure he fully recovers!" Dorian, who had been silent, finally spoke, though his tone was stiff and reluctant.

Even though he knew he had to give Skyline Center to Ethan, he was still reluctant to do so.

"Then we'll have to wait until I'm in a better mood." Ethan sneered inwardly and sighed in resignation.

"Ethan, don't push it too far! You want the Skyline Center, and we've agreed to give it to you, but you can't take the benefit before doing the job!" Caspar couldn't hold back her anger any longer and then scolded Ethan.

"Mrs. Ashford, you are loud as if I was asking you for help," Ethan reminded her calmly.

Caspar glanced at Carlos, feeling somewhat embarrassed.

She knew this was the Harris family's place, and she shouldn't lose her temper, but Ethan was infuriating her so much!

Dorian immediately grabbed Caspar's hand, signaling her to calm down, and then turned his gaze to Ethan.

"Since I'm here, I need a resolution. Let's end this matter here. Do you want the Skyline Center? I can give it to you right now!" Dorian, as the head in the Ashford family, knew when to yield and when not. He was much better than Caspar.

"Dorian, you are indeed a chill man. As soon as the contract is signed, I guarantee you'll have a fully recovered Lysander!" Ethan's eyes lit up, and he snapped his fingers.

After all these days of hassle, this was the moment he had been waiting for.

"This is the property transfer contract we've prepared. You can review it, and if there are no issues, you can sign it." Alexander, who had the contract ready, stepped forward and placed it on the table in front of Dorian.

Dorian glanced at the contract, and his face immediately darkened. "You want me to vacate Zenith Group within three days? Are you kidding?"

"Time waits for no one. Dorian, Zenith Group has business to run, and my new company can't just sit around waiting, right?" Ethan replied with a smile.

Dorian suppressed his urge to lash out and chose to endure. "Fine, I agree to vacate Zenith Group from the Skyline Center within three days. I hope you keep your word and fully restore Lysander's health today!" Dorian decisively signed the property transfer contract, glaring at Ethan.

"I feel I'm in a better mood all of a sudden. Now, there's no problem saving him. Let's head to the hospital right away!" Ethan handed the contract back to Alexander and winked at Dorian and Caspar.

"I'll be waiting at the hospital then!" Dorian snorted, stood up, and walked out.

"Hold on!" Percival suddenly called out.

"What else do you want?" Dorian stopped and turned back, frowning.

"Since we ran into you today, let's settle everything at once. I do not agree with Chloe and Kenny's marriage. Consider it annulled," Percival said calmly.

Although the marriage had already become a joke, for the sake of both families' reputations, neither the Ashford family nor the Miller family had officially announced it. Percival took this opportunity to declare it publicly!

"Chloe, Kenny is not worthy of you. This is for the best. It saves us the trouble of calling off the engagement," Dorian said coldly and gave Chloe a frosty look before leaving.

"We'll be leaving now. Ethan, we'll be waiting for you at the hospital. I hope you keep your word," Caspar reminded Ethan before leaving.

"I'll be there shortly!" Ethan replied with a grin.
