Chapter 371 Collecting Some Interest
Dorian took a deep breath when he heard that.
He had to admit, he always underestimated Ethan. This guy could really achieve great things!
If Ethan just wanted to be a hero, he wouldn't have thought so much. He wouldn't have let Dorian off easily for Jessie.
Ethan said he wanted to make a deal, but really, he was trying to win Dorian over to his side.
Killing Dorian was easy, but getting the Ashford family's support was much harder!
"So, what do you think? This deal is all gain for you. You wouldn't refuse, right?" Ethan asked, staring at Dorian.
"I have no reason to. I should thank you for giving me a chance to make amends!" Dorian shook his head and smiled bitterly. He never thought he'd be on the same side as Ethan!
"Why do you think Francis left you to me after dealing with Ronald that day?" Ethan reminded him calmly.
"Let's not talk about the past. I'll repay what I owe you. In half a month, when the new head of the Wilson family takes over, I'll bring people to the ceremony!" Dorian nodded.
"Then it's settled. Once I become the head of the Wilson family, our grudges are over. We might even become friends!" Ethan nodded and smiled.
Friends? Maybe, at least on the surface!
"In two years, I might not even be qualified to be your friend!" Dorian sighed and shook his head.
"But before that, I want some interest!" Ethan said with a smile.
"Interest?" Dorian was stunned and frowned.
"Don't worry. What I want won't hurt you or the Ashford family! I hope you can help Gino. This is also a family matter for you. My interest isn't too much, right?" Ethan said, looking at Gino, who was still in shock.
Dorian looked conflicted.
"Is it difficult?" Ethan raised an eyebrow.
"Rex is still my father-in-law. Your interest won't hurt me or the Ashford family, but it's not easy!" Dorian shook his head and smiled bitterly.
"Ethan, let me handle my affairs. Don't make it hard for him!" Gino said gratefully. He didn't expect Ethan to care so much about his issues!
But as Dorian said, Rex was still his father-in-law!
"Handle it yourself? Don't forget Rex may not be a master, but Jim isn't easy to deal with. He has a master-level master! The two of us, half-step masters, can't handle it," Ethan reminded him seriously.
Gino fell silent.
He didn't care about himself, but if Ethan got hurt because of his issues, it would be big trouble!
"Don't forget about me. You're not the head yet, so I can only guarantee your safety!" Elmer reminded him calmly.
"If it's about guaranteeing his safety, I can do that. But dealing with Rex? Forget it!" Dorian quickly said.
"Rex is Gino's problem. Whether to kill him or not is Gino's decision. If you killed Rex, even for your mother-in-law's revenge, you'd make yourself Caspar's enemy. I wouldn't make it that difficult for you!" Ethan nodded with a smile.
"Let me in! I know they're inside. Where's my dad? And Ethan, let Ethan come out!" Suddenly, a commotion erupted in the hallway. It was Kenny!
"Why is he here? Excuse me!" Dorian frowned and quickly went out.
Soon, Dorian returned with Kenny.
"Kenny, what's wrong? Afraid I'll kill Dorian?" Ethan teased, seeing Kenny's wary look.
"You wouldn't dare! You're no match for my dad!" Kenny glared and snorted.
"Kenny, don't be rude!" Dorian scolded.
"Mom acted that way today because of him. She went to see him this afternoon!" Kenny said excitedly, looking at Gino.
"Shut up! What do you know? Why are you here, leaving your mom alone at home?" Dorian scolded again.
"I saw her asleep and told the servants to watch her. They'd call me if anything happened. I was just worried about you coming here alone," Kenny explained helplessly.
"Gino, I'm sorry. We've spoiled him too much!" Dorian said to Gino.
"It's okay. It's natural for him to worry about Caspar. It's not his fault! Besides, I'm not a good uncle!" Gino shook his head bitterly.
"Dorian, don't forget our agreement. Take Kenny back first. We'll notify you when we head to Sunridge!" Ethan reminded calmly.
"Then I'll leave first!" Dorian gave Ethan a deep look and hurriedly left with a confused Kenny.
Elmer also disappeared with them.
Elmer knew when to leave. Knowing Ethan wouldn't welcome him, he left.
"Now, it won't be difficult for you, right?" Ethan asked Gino with a smile.
"No matter what, I have to thank you. How about Dorian and I go to Sunridge? You don't need to trouble yourself. You've just reunited with Jessie. Spend more time with her!" Gino hesitated and then tried to persuade Ethan.
"That's not right. I promised your master I wouldn't leave things unfinished. I have to see this through! No more arguments. When do we leave?" Ethan asked, not giving Gino a chance to refuse.
"If you're determined to go, the sooner, the better, so as not to delay your important matters. How about we leave tomorrow morning?" Gino suggested.
"Then remember to notify Dorian. I need to go back and make arrangements. I'll meet you here tomorrow morning!" Ethan said and left Gino's office.
"It's finally time to settle this, Rex. Just you wait!" Standing by the window, watching Ethan's car disappear into the busy street, Gino clenched his fists.
