Chapter 393 The New Apprentice
Ethan saw her cautious look and found it amusing, feeling the urge to tease her.
"You gotta give to get. No free lunches in this world!" Ethan said, his eyes greedily roaming over Angela, making him look lecherous.
"You're shameless! I knew you were up to no good. Don't even think about it!" Angela snapped, glaring at him.
"Is it that serious? I haven't even mentioned any conditions yet. Why are you so worked up?" Ethan was taken aback by her reaction.
"Just keep your dirty thoughts to yourself. If your conditions aren't too crazy, I might consider it," Angela huffed, tilting her head.
"Forget it. I've seen beautiful women before. I'm not desperate for your affection." Ethan sighed, acting like he gave up on his mischievous thoughts.
"So, are you gonna give me the superpower or not?" Angela asked, still tense.
"You don't want it yourself. If you're not willing to give anything, why should I do something so thankless?" Ethan replied earnestly.
Angela was speechless, unable to respond to Ethan's question.
"Alright, letting you experience a warrior's power is already generous. Don't push your luck. Hurry up and leave!" Ethan lost interest in teasing her and turned to walk away.
"Wait, how about I let you kiss me again? You've already kissed me before," Angela panicked, grabbing him and whispering with a blush.
Ethan looked at her in shock, never expecting her to say that just for a bit of superpower!
Was she really the person he knew?
But her offer was tempting!
Ethan remembered the taste of holding and kissing her before, thinking it was wonderful!
"Well, do we have a deal or not?" Angela got annoyed and impatiently urged him.
"Are you addicted to kissing?" Ethan licked his lips and asked with a mischievous smile.
"You're the one who's addicted! Shameless! Pervert!" Angela, flustered, retorted.
"I'm shameless? A pervert? It's you with impure thoughts, and you call me shameless?" Ethan shot back.
"How am I impure? Ethan, explain yourself. I gave you my first kiss tonight. That was my first kiss!" Angela gritted her teeth.
Ethan was stunned. He couldn't believe Angela still had her first kiss and was even more surprised it was with him!
"Have you never been in a relationship?" Ethan asked, staring at her.
"Is it embarrassing to have high standards? I wouldn't want a playboy like you even if you were handed to me!" Angela snapped, her face pale with anger.
Ethan suddenly got it. With her temper, no guy could handle her. If her first kiss was still intact, she was probably still a virgin.
"I just want to take you as my apprentice and give you super energy. Isn't that reasonable? But you seem clueless!" Ethan laughed.
"What? You want me as your apprentice?" Angela asked, surprised.
"What else? If you're not my apprentice, why would I give you superpower?" Ethan replied.
"Is that all?" Angela asked suspiciously, seeing he wasn't lying.
"What else? Your thoughts are too complicated. If not for taking you as an apprentice, what did you think it was? Like you said, letting me kiss you again?" Ethan teased with a wink.
Angela's face turned red. She realized Ethan was leading her on, waiting for her to make a fool of herself!
But to become a warrior, she had to swallow her pride.
Having just experienced the power of a warrior, the allure was too strong to resist!
"So, if I become your apprentice, you'll give me superpower and help me become a warrior?" Angela asked, biting her lip.
"That depends on whether you behave. If you do well, I won't be stingy!" Ethan said with a smile.
"How do you want me to behave?" Angela asked, frowning.
"Like serving tea, massaging shoulders and legs." Ethan imagined Angela serving him but felt a strong killing intent and swallowed his words.
"I'm just kidding. Don't take it so seriously. With your attitude, how dare I take you as an apprentice?" Ethan reminded her.
"Alright, I'll be your apprentice. As long as your demands aren't excessive, I'll comply!" Angela said determinedly.
"Is it that serious? I'm not asking for your life. Don't look like you're about to die!" Ethan was amused by her expression.
Who would've thought Angela would become his apprentice? Life is full of surprises!
"So, can you give me the superpower now?" Angela asked eagerly, staring at Ethan.
If not for the superpower, why would she humble herself before Ethan?
Ethan didn't say anything, slowly placing his hand on Angela's lower abdomen.
Angela instinctively wanted to dodge but remembered this was how Ethan transferred super energy. She decided not to move and closed her eyes.
When she felt Ethan's warm hand on her flat abdomen, her body trembled.
Then, a warm current flowed from Ethan's palm into her lower abdomen.
