Chapter 490 Ethan's Gift
After the ceremony ended, Ethan stood up and turned to nod at Beverly.
At that moment, Jessie led Chloe and the others, along with Camila, to Ethan's side.
While it was already known to many that Ethan had four wives and even a recognized goddaughter, the audacity of openly displaying their presence by his side during such a grand ceremony left numerous individuals in a state of shock.
"Ethan, what are you doing?" Brady frowned even more at this sight and questioned in a dissatisfied tone.
"What did I do?" Ethan rolled his eyes at Brady in confusion, then confidently led Chloe and the others to the center of the square.
"I'm standing here today to announce something. From today onwards, I am the head of the Wilson family. My mother, Jessie, is the mother of the head of the Wilson family. As for my four wives, I know many of you have your own thoughts, but you'd better keep them to yourselves. Don't say them in front of me, or I'll be very angry, and the consequences will be severe!"
Ethan paused, casting a gaze at the elders before sneering. He then continued, "These four are now part of the Wilson family, my wives, and you must treat them with respect. As for this little girl, Camila, she is my daughter and also a daughter of the Wilson family!"

"Brady, do you have a problem?" Ethan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't care about your private life, nor do I want to, but you are now the head of the Wilson family. You must maintain the family's reputation. Saying such things at the head's succession ceremony is outrageous," Brady scolded angrily.
"If you're unhappy, you can announce my removal as head. I don't care. Whoever wants to be the head can be it. Do you really think I care? To me, the title of head of the Wilson family isn't worth a finger of my wives," Ethan sneered, not backing down, and stared at Brady, mocking him.
Chloe and the others stood behind Ethan, not daring to breathe, but after hearing his words, they were deeply moved. They knew he was sincere and not just putting on a show. Even if they never got a socially recognized status, his public declaration today was enough for them.
Camila, on the other hand, didn't understand anything. Her curious eyes looked around, finding everything new and interesting. If Hannah hadn't repeatedly warned her to stay quiet, she would have been asking questions non-stop.
"What are you talking about? Do you think I really don't dare to remove you?" Brady was almost driven mad by Ethan. He had a momentary impulse to remove Ethan, who had just become the head of the Wilson family less than half an hour ago.
However, at that moment, Brady immediately felt two presences locking onto him. Besides the hidden Elmer, there was also Dorian sitting in the audience. If he dared to make a move, he had no doubt these two would seize the opportunity to attack him.
"Brady, calm down!" Herman's expression changed drastically, and he quickly tried to persuade him.
Brady took a deep breath, pointed at Ethan, and asked in a deep voice, "What do you want?"
"Don't get excited. Remember I told you I had a gift for you?" Ethan reminded him with a smile.
"Is this your gift to me?" Brady asked with a grim expression.
"No. The real gift hasn't been presented yet!" Ethan chuckled, and as soon as he finished speaking, a figure fell from the side, landing between Ethan and Brady.
Everyone gasped. The young man who appeared was covered in blood, wearing the uniform of the Wilson family's Shadow Gang, his limbs twitching, and his eyes wide open with resentment.
"Eli, isn't he from the Shadow Gang?"
"How did he end up like this? Who dared to do this?"
Some members of the Wilson family immediately recognized the bloodied Eli and exclaimed in surprise.
Brady's eyes widened when he saw Eli.
"So, Brady, are you satisfied with this gift?" Ethan asked with a smile.
"What do you mean?" Brady suddenly calmed down, staring at Ethan without blinking.
"It seems you're not satisfied yet. Don't worry, someone will make you satisfied." Ethan grinned and signaled Jessie to take Chloe and the others back to the audience area.
After they left, Elmer, wearing a ghost mask, and Zephyr, with a grim expression, walked over side by side.
"Brady, don't you think you owe me an explanation?" Zephyr asked coldly, staring at Brady.
Brady was dumbfounded.
"Zephyr, what are you up to? Who do you think you are? Why should I explain anything to you?" Brady was furious, wanting to crush Zephyr.
'Wait, when did Ethan and Zephyr become allies?' Realizing something was wrong, even the cunning Brady felt at a loss.
"Yes, I'm just a Half-Step Grandmaster, nothing compared to a true master like you. Even without that, you're the Great Elder. What am I compared to that?" Zephyr sneered at Brady.
