After a few jokes, Francis suddenly got serious. "What's your next move?"
"Next move? I was gonna ask you! Isn't the Divine Sea about to open? When do I get that founder's inheritance?" Ethan perked up, eager to boost his strength.
If he got the inheritance, he'd hit master level and wouldn't have to worry about guys like Dorian or Ronald anymore.
"Whether the Divine Sea opens is up to you! I can't decide that!" Francis shook his head.
"Up to me? Are you kidding?" Ethan was shocked.
"Isn't the key to the Divine Sea with you? Once the Sun and Moon Beads sense the right moment, the door will open! Your chance hasn't come yet. Go train some more!" Francis explained with a smile.
"I thought I'd get the inheritance and become a master right away. Didn't expect to be back at square one." Ethan looked frustrated.
"Is being a master that great? You have the Sun and Moon Beads; regular masters can't beat you. Plus, once you're a master, you can't just attack anyone. You'll be tied down by a lot of things. Remember all the stuff you haven't sorted out?" Francis reminded him calmly.
Ethan started thinking deeply.
"While you were out, Francis talked about teaming up with us. Once you're a master, you won't have much freedom. Now's not the right time!" Clarence said seriously.
"Teaming up?" Ethan was surprised again.
"Yeah, to revitalize the ZF Guild! We've agreed to let all warriors from the Miller and Harris families, including Vassals, join the ZF Guild. Our families can act as the Guild's reps. What do you think?" Munro shared their plan.
"You've already decided, so why ask me?" Ethan seemed uninterested.
"You're the head of the ZF Guild now. If we don't ask you, who else?" Francis scolded, glaring.
"Fine, let's do it. I didn't say no! By the way, can I enter Tiger Mount anytime, no matter where I am?" Ethan changed the topic.
"Yes. Wherever you are, you can open a space channel to Tiger Mount. The Sun and Moon Beads can connect to itl!" Francis nodded.
"What about others who want to come in?" Ethan asked, frowning.
"That's easy. Just set up a formation at the spot to ensure the space channel can open multiple times!" Francis said, handing Ethan a paper with a spell on it.
"Where will I end up if I leave Tiger Mount?" Ethan asked after pocketing the spell.
"Usually, you'll exit where you entered. But you can also leave from where you set up the formation. Just know that using the formation weakens it, and you'll need to reinforce it, which drains a lot of energy. Space travel isn't free!" Francis warned.
"Good enough. It's a lifesaver in a pinch!" Ethan shrugged, thinking he could recharge with the Sun and Moon Beads.
"Since Tiger Mount is here, I'll stay put. If you need anything, come find me!" Francis added.
"What about your Emerald Valley and those disciples?" Ethan asked, surprised.
"Before coming to Everglow City, I sent all my disciples out for training. When they reach Half-Step Grandmaster, I'll let them in! If there's nothing else, take them back early!" Francis explained, basically dismissing him.
"I'm the head now, and you're kicking me out?" Ethan's mouth twitched.
"Oh, take this!" Francis tossed him the bottle with Asura Bloodhand like it was nothing.
"Is this the bottle with Asura Bloodhand?" Ethan's eyes widened. He'd heard about it from Jessie and almost forgot!
Even if he forgot, he could come back, just using a bit of energy.
"Remember to return the bottle after dealing with it!" Francis instructed.
"Wait, I don't care about the bottle. How am I supposed to handle him with my current strength?" Ethan interrupted.
"Who said to release him? Just drain his demonic energy through the bottle," Francis looked at Ethan like he was clueless.
"Really?" Ethan's eyes lit up, and he placed his hand on the bottle, activating the Sun and Moon Beads.
Soon, he found the Sun and Moon Beads could indeed absorb the demonic energy from Asura Bloodhand through the bottle, making him very happy.
"The Sun and Moon Beads can suppress all evil. A simple bottle can't stop them from absorbing power!" Francis reminded calmly, seeing Ethan's joy.
"It's like carrying a power bank! Others charge their devices; I charge my energy!" Ethan laughed, forgetting himself.
"Drain that demon quickly. Remember, the bottle isn't yours; you have to return it!" Francis poured cold water on Ethan's excitement.
"Such a buzzkill. I'll ask the Celestia Vale elder to lend me the bottle longer. If I can open the Divine Sea and ascend to the divine realm, I'll take him with me! He won't lose out!" Ethan said nonchalantly.
"Talk big when you can back it up. Now that everything's settled, get lost. I have to tidy up here and don't have time to waste with you!" Francis urged impatiently.
"I wouldn't stay even if you asked me to. Bye!" Ethan made a face at Francis, then opened a space channel, enveloping Jessie, Munro, and Clarence, and disappeared from Breeze Pavilion!
