Chapter 560 Deciding the Winner with One Palm

Angela took a deep breath and gave a slow nod. Just a single word from Ethan could pump her up big time 'cause she knew he had some serious mojo.

She couldn't quite figure out why Ethan's voice was echoing in her head, but she definitely caught the mantra he dropped on her.

She still remembered that night when she first dipped her toes into the martial arts world; Ethan had taught her the first mantra. And now, he was laying the whole set on her.

With the crowd buzzing, Angela jumped into the ring without a second thought, moving like some kind of night spirit, even making Giuseppe do a double-take.

"Mr. Wilson, do we really gotta do this? Forget Giuseppe for a sec, Andrea's actually a good guy," Francesco said, looking all kinds of helpless as he glanced at the ring and then back at Ethan.

"Andrea being a good guy ain't got squat to do with this. And even if he is, he's a lousy dad," Ethan chuckled, not giving a damn.

Francesco went quiet. Ethan's words shut him up good. No matter what he said, Ethan wouldn't care. He started thinking maybe he shouldn't have shown up today. Even if Norman was here, Ethan would probably act the same way.

"You better make the first move, or you might not get another shot," Angela said, ignoring the noise around her and giving Giuseppe a calm heads-up.

"I don't know where you get your confidence from, but the gap between a Half-Step Grandmaster and a regular martial artist is huge. I'm not holding back," Giuseppe's face darkened, and he charged at Angela as soon as he finished talking.

"Since I joined the RD Club, this is the first time I've seen a chick in the ring, and it's Angela!"

"Totally worth coming today. Didn't expect Angela to go up against Giuseppe. Who do you think's gonna win?"

"Seriously? It's gotta be Mr. Green. A Half-Step Grandmaster ain't no joke!"

"I dunno, man. See how Angela got in the ring? She looks as good as Mr. Green!"

For a moment, everyone was buzzing about the two fighters in the ring.

"You're really not worried at all?" Marco asked Ethan, looking a bit unsure.

"Worried? About what? I'm right here, aren't I? Plus, she ain't gonna lose," Ethan replied with a confident grin.

While they were chatting, Angela and Giuseppe had already started throwing down.

Ethan quickly recognized Giuseppe's moves, which had a lot of techniques from Celestia Vale. Since running into Celestia Vale, he'd picked up on their style.

Even though Celestia Vale was called a Guild, it was more like an alliance now, a bunch of martial arts Guilds banding together. That's why Phoenix and Raymond were part of it.

Looked like Giuseppe had some backing from Celestia Vale too, which made sense. Only Celestia Vale could help him get this far. All for Andrea's sake.

The fight wasn't as deadly as people thought; every move was flashy, a hallmark of both Giuseppe's and Angela's styles.

Their martial arts weren't the brutal, in-your-face kind, so the crowd was a bit let down. But as time went on, Giuseppe's smooth moves started to show some cracks.

At first, Giuseppe thought Angela was all talk, not taking her strength seriously. But soon enough, he started feeling the heat from her palms, and it was no joke.

At first, the pressure was barely there, but it kept ramping up, doubling, tripling, and then some.

Angela quickly got the hang of it, nailing the technique. With the super energy Ethan had pumped into her, even if she couldn't stack ten palms like Ethan did back in his Half-Step Grandmaster days, doing half of that was more than enough.

"What the hell kind of palm technique is this?" Giuseppe's face twisted in shock. He knew he had messed up by underestimating her. If he had gone all out from the start, he might've had a shot.

Just as he finished talking, Angela's palm slammed into his arm, sending him flying. The crowd went dead silent, eyes wide in disbelief.

Giuseppe got launched out of the ring, landing hard on the ground.

"You lost." Angela felt the super energy Ethan had given her almost run dry, but seeing Giuseppe coughing up blood on the ground made it all worth it.

"Giuseppe!" Matteo, who had been in Giuseppe's room earlier, rushed to the ring with two of Giuseppe's guys, helping him up.

"I lost," Giuseppe muttered, pale and dazed, ignoring his injuries and Matteo.

"Not only did you lose, but the whole Green family behind you lost too," Francesco said, appearing at the side of the ring, looking at the defeated Giuseppe with a sigh.

"Remember our deal. By sunrise, I don't want to see you anywhere in Everglow," Angela said coldly as she jumped off the ring.

"You've gone too far. You think you're hot stuff just 'cause you got some skills? Angela, do you even know who you just messed up?" Matteo snapped, glaring at Angela and Francesco.

"Just a piece of trash," Angela shot back, ice-cold.

Hearing that, Giuseppe, already in bad shape, spat out more blood.

Even though Angela was just at the peak strength of a martial artist, her techniques could boost her power big time. With Ethan's pure super energy, Giuseppe, a newbie Half-Step Grandmaster, didn't stand a chance.

"You're just a martial artist, so how the hell can you hit that hard?" Giuseppe asked, still in disbelief.

"I can't answer that for you. Maybe you should ask him," Angela said, nodding towards Ethan, who was walking over.

"Because I'm her master. I taught her everything. If I say she can beat you, then she can beat you. Simple as that," Ethan said seriously to Giuseppe.

"Who... who are you?" Giuseppe asked, using his last bit of strength.

"Ethan. To you, I might be a nobody. But if you want revenge, you'll have to get back on the martial artist path first," Ethan said, looking at Giuseppe with a hint of sympathy.

As soon as he finished, Giuseppe couldn't hold on any longer and passed out in Matteo's arms.
