Chapter 108 Clarence's difficulty
Feeling Andrew’s hand on hers, Sharon's body stiffened as she endured her disgust and didn’t reject him. To achieve her goal, she knew she needed to let this man taste a bit of sweetness!
Sharon sneered with hatred, gritting her teeth. “Not only Ethan, but I want you to humiliate this woman as well. It’d be great if you sent her to be a prostitute in a nightclub!”
“Oh? You want me to deal with this woman as well. What if there are any unexpected consequences? Wouldn't you be jealous?” Andrew's heart stirred as he tested her.
Sharon firmly nodded, “Don't worry. As long as you can handle this, I promise you'll get what you want!”
“Alright, it's a deal! I'll take you out for lunch first, and then I'll have someone investigate this company. It's just a measly decoration company, so ruining them is a piece of cake for me!” Andrew's eyes brightened at the thought, eager to have both Chloe and Sharon under his control.
They soon arrived at a five-star hotel. When Andrew learned that Sharon and Gabriella were homeless, he generously booked a suite for them to stay in for a long time. He even gave Gabriella tens of thousands of dollars as living expenses, which left her ecstatic!
After arranging the room, Andrew immediately suggested. “Then, let's go have lunch and get a good drink?”
“I'll go to the restroom first.”
Sharon knew what he was up to, but she knew this kind of man couldn't necessarily be relied upon. Until she achieved her objective, she couldn't easily let him have his way.
She went to the restroom, leaving Andrew and Gabriella alone.
It was at this moment that Andrew realized Gabriella was actually quite attractive. Although she was a bit older, she had quite a hot figure and matured woman’s experience that young girls didn't have.
“In the future, remember to contact me when you need something.” Saying that, he felt lustful as his hands ventured to Gabriella's thigh.
Gabriella tensed up, looking at Andrew with surprise. She instantly understood what he was up to!
If this was in the past, she would’ve never imagined something like this happening to her. However, now that the Thomas family had fallen on hard times, if she still wanted to live a good life and be involved with a wealthy second-generation like Andrew, wouldn't this be the best solution?
“Mr. Johnson, I'll be counting on you from now on. I'd like to talk to you alone tonight, so are you free? We can find another room and have a good chat,” After making up her mind, she didn’t reject Andrew's advances. On the contrary, she actively seduced him, directly placing her hand on Andrew's leg with an ambiguous look.
“No problem. I'll book the neighboring room in a moment, so you can just come over tonight.” Andrew didn't expect Gabriella to be this forward, and he was elated.
If Sharon wasn't around, he would’ve pinned Gabriella down by now.
Just then, the restroom door opened, and both of them hastily withdrew their hands with guilty faces.
How would Sharon feel if she found out that while she was still cautious of Andrew, Gabriella was willingly offering herself up?
To live luxuriously in the future, Gabriella was willing to serve this man in front of her, even if it meant dragging her daughter along!
While the mother-daughter pair had a meal with Andrew at the hotel, Ethan and Chloe received a call from Sarah to have lunch with the Harris family.
When Sarah saw the jewelry Chloe was wearing, her eyes lit up.
Chloe never had the habit of wearing these things, so it was the first time Sarah had seen her best friend dressed so lavishly.
“When did you buy these jewelry? I've never seen you wear them before.” After playing and teasing each other for a while, Sarah asked curiously.
“Ethan gave them to me!” Speaking of Ethan, Chloe unconsciously smiled.
On the other hand, Sarah faintly smiled out of happiness.
“I didn't realize this guy could be quite romantic. I guess his taste isn’t so bad!” When Sarah heard that it was from Ethan, slight jealousy flashed in her eyes.
However, she immediately turned her nose up and hummed in disbelief.
Chloe jokingly suggested, “Should I ask him to get you a set as well?”
“What does it have to do with me? He's not someone important to me, so what’s the point in doing that?” Sarah nervously shook her head, then quickly changed the subject and pulled Chloe into her own room.
When Ethan arrived, he went into the study with Clarence. On the other hand, the two women closed the door to have a private conversation.
30 minutes later, the servants called everyone for dinner, and the four of them finally emerged from the study and their rooms.
Seeing Ethan and Clarence discussing so cheerfully, Chloe smiled. She knew this man wouldn’t disappoint her!
“Ethan, you did a great job. Moreover, you even saved Sarah from the Crossing Gang. I don't know how to thank you enough!” Clarence was the first to raise his glass at the dining table, standing up and smiling at Ethan.
Chloe and Sarah were surprised by Clarence's gesture. It was rare to see him show such respect for a younger person!
“Old Master Harris, no need to be so polite. I only did what I did because of Chloe and Sarah's relationship. You don't have to think too much about it!” Ethan also stood up, raising his glass to Clarence.
The two women exchanged looks, feeling like something was off.
Ethan and Clarence seemed close, but their demeanor made it seem like they were deliberately keeping their distances.
Afterward, the two men only discussed topics like Ethan's future plans and how to take care of Clarence’s health. This left both Sarah and Chloe confused.
After lunch, Clarence made an excuse to nap and returned to his room. Ethan and Chloe bid farewell and left the Harris family.
On the way back to the company, Chloe curiously asked, “What were you and Old Master Harris discussing? I sensed something strange in the atmosphere just now.”
“There's nothing weird; he’s just keeping his distance from me. After all, he's not from the Harris family’s direct line in Houston. I guess there’s people who don't want me being so close to him,” Ethan explained with a wry smile as he drove.
“No wonder he didn't know how to thank you for your help. I felt something was off at that time. Seems like someone within the Harris family has discussed your situation with Old Master Harris!” Chloe immediately understood, a serious look on her face.
“If I want the Harris family to accept me, I need to impress them. I don't have that qualification for now, or at least it seems that way on the surface. If Old Master Harris takes a stand at this time, it would truly cut my path off. Therefore, I’m just taking a step back to move forward!” Ethan knew that Chloe had always been worried about him, so he reminded her while smiling.
