Chapter 326 You Had No Choice
Ethan was indeed quite satisfied with this.
While Ethan was busy planning their cohabitation, Gino was frowning far away in the capital.
"Sir, do you want to let her up? She's been waiting downstairs all day!" The bodyguard asked.
The bodyguard had entered Gino's office to report the situation for the umpteenth time. He could tell that Gino was definitely concerned about Caspar downstairs.
"Bring her up!" Gino was about to shake his head but changed his mind. He knew Caspar well; if he didn't see her today, she wouldn't give up easily. Since that was the case, he might as well meet her and put an end to it.
Before long, Caspar appeared in Gino's office.
"You finally agreed to see me?" Caspar looked at Gino, her tone somewhat agitated.
"What's the difference whether I see you or not? I made everything clear last time! Why do you still insist on coming to see me?" Gino asked helplessly.
"I don't know what happened back then. I've been back to the Salvador family and asked Dad, but he refuses to tell me anything!" Caspar stared at Gino with a complex expression.
"It might be a good thing for you. Why are you so persistent?" Gino sighed helplessly.
"Why do you all know but insist on keeping it from me? Do you really not consider me your sister or part of the family anymore?" Caspar's tone grew more agitated.
"Family? My family was gone the day Mom passed away!" Gino slapped the table and stood up, looking even more agitated than Caspar.
"What do you mean by that? We still have Dad and Jim. I know you might not like Jim and his mom, but she is dead now, and Dad is aged. Why are you so stubborn?" Caspar stared at him, trying to persuade him earnestly.
"He is not my Dad. Since you went back, did you ask him if he still considers me his son?" Gino scoffed indifferently.
"Yes, Dad has always been thinking about you, and so does Jim. This time, for the Celestia Vale Selection Meeting, they've decided to give you the Salvador family's spot. As long as you enter Celestia Vale, Dad promises to let you return to the Salvador family!" Caspar finally revealed her purpose.
"What? You mean he actually decided that?" Gino's eyes widened in shock. This news was quite a surprise to him.
He understood well what the Selection Meeting qualification represented. Being able to enter Celestia Vale and become a master level was the goal of every warrior!
"Yes, I heard it myself. Paul should already be in the capital. He will come to find you soon. As long as you agree to be his disciple and enter Celestia Vale, in two years, you can return to the Salvador family in glory!" Caspar explained expectantly, staring at Gino.
"No, I don't need it. I won't agree!" After calming down, Gino coldly refused.
"Why?" Caspar stared at Gino in disappointment. She had thought he would agree, but she didn't expect him to refuse so bluntly!
"I already have a master who is also a master-level expert. Why would I need to take another one? I never cared about Celestia Vale!" Gino shook his head righteously.
"It is a chance to return to the Salvador family. Don't you really want to come back?" Caspar stared at Gino in disbelief. She couldn't understand why Gion was so repelled against the Salvador family.
"Since I left the Salvador family thirty years ago, I never thought there would be a day to return," Gino said firmly.
"Do you not even want me? I'm your sister!" Caspar asked.
She was silent for a long time, seemingly unable to accept this result, and asked softly, still unwilling to give up.
"I am sorry. Even if it weren't for the Salvador family, I couldn't enter Celestia Vale!" Gino sighed helplessly as he saw Caspar's disappointed look.
He was Francis's disciple, so he could never enter Celestia Vale, even if he had the chance!
"Don't you want to enter Celestia Vale?" At this moment, an older adult's voice suddenly sounded, and a figure appeared at the door. It was Paul, the elder of Celestia Vale.
"Who are you?" Gino squinted his eyes, already knowing the visitor's identity.
"Hello, Paul!" Caspar had met Paul before and greeted him respectfully.
"Are you Jim's sister Caspar?" Paul nodded and asked.
"Yes, I'm here to persuade Gino to take you as his master!" Caspar quickly explained.
"It seems he has no intention of that," Paul said lightly.
"Are you the elder of Celestia Vale? Since you know I have no such idea, please go back. The Salvador family can choose someone else to be your disciple, except me!" Gino said directly.
"Do you look down on me?" Paul squinted his eyes and asked coldly.
"I wouldn't dare. I already have a master. How could I switch to another one?" Gino explained righteously.
"Who is your master? Maybe I know him." Paul asked curiously.
"Sorry, it's a secret! If there's nothing else, please leave!" Gino shook his head and refused without hesitation.
"Gino, whether you agree or not, your name is already on the Selection Meeting roster. This is not something you can change," Paul didn't expect Gino to dare speak to him like this. His face turned livid as he threatened.
At this moment, Phoenix appeared beside Paul, instantly suppressing the powerful aura he had just released.
"Phoenix, aren't you at Misty Ridge? Why are you here?" Paul was also surprised by Phoenix's sudden appearance and asked in disbelief.
