Chapter 643 Conversations Deep Within Celestia Vale
Ethan and his companions were unaware that deep in the desert, not far northwest of Stardale, a tall and burly figure was rapidly heading towards the border.
"Emilio Blair's presence is in that direction, but why is it so faint?"
Sean Gray muttered to himself, his dark face full of grim determination.
At that moment, a man's figure suddenly appeared ahead, causing Sean to stop in his tracks, a look of astonishment in his eyes.
The man who appeared was the middle-aged man who had scared Kirk into hiding within the Hills Guild!
"Good thing I arrived in time, or you would have slipped away!"
The middle-aged man stared at Sean with a calm expression, but the aura he suddenly emitted seemed to freeze the surrounding space.
Sean's face changed, instinctively sensing extreme danger. He was even more shocked to find that it seemed extraordinarily difficult to move his limbs.
"Who are you?"
Sean's voice was low and hoarse, his eyes flickering with uncertainty.
"You don't need to know, and you'd better not think about running, because you can't escape from me!"
The man chuckled confidently. As soon as he finished speaking, he teleported right in front of Sean.
"You think killing me will be that easy? If my powers were fully restored, you wouldn't even have a chance to get close!"
Sean's face showed anger. Though he was somewhat unwilling, his eyes held little fear. He knew very well that this man couldn't kill him!
"You're right, I can't kill you, but finding a place to lock you up for another two thousand years doesn't seem particularly difficult!"
The man nodded noncommittally, then suddenly changed his tone with a smile.
"Where do you want to take me?"
Sean's face turned extremely grim.
Sean understood that the man had no intention of killing him, or rather, the man knew he couldn't kill Sean and wouldn't waste his efforts.
Even so, the man would certainly use other means to restrict Sean's freedom, possibly even sealing him again!
Having slept in darkness for two thousand years, Sean knew very well what being sealed again meant—possibly eternal darkness or even destruction!
"A place you should go now!"
The man smiled slightly, then suddenly a golden light flashed in his hand, revealing a wooden box, only the size of a palm, shaped like a coffin.
"This is the Soul Separation Coffin!"
Recognizing the wooden box in the man's hand, Sean's face finally showed a trace of fear.
"As expected of Emilio's top general, your knowledge is indeed broad. You even recognize it. Putting you in this coffin is no different from killing you!"
The man showed a hint of admiration, but his tone was more mocking and sarcastic.
"You're from Ancient Clan..."
Sean shouted a few words but suddenly found his body stiffening, unable to make a sound!
"You talk too much!"
As soon as the man finished speaking, a black mist emerged from the Soul Separation Coffin in his hand, enveloping Sean's large body.
After the black mist rolled for a while, it gradually dissipated, and Sean's large body disappeared without a trace.
"Hope this thing still works, at least for a while!"
Looking at the Soul Separation Coffin lying quietly in his hand, the man sighed helplessly, then his figure blurred and disappeared into the desolate desert.
At the very moment Sean was sealed into the Soul Separation Coffin, a furious roar suddenly erupted from the Celestia Vale within the depths of Radiant Peak.
"Damn Ancient Clan Alliance, they trapped another general of the Mysterious Land. Do they really think this will stop the army from returning?"
Emilio's harsh voice echoed from within a platform about 30 feet in diameter, resembling an altar, with countless golden runes swirling on its surface.
With the roar, the golden runes contracted, becoming more tightly packed, and the heavy breathing eased significantly.
"After all these years, you're still so violent. When will you learn to restrain yourself?"
At that moment, an old man in a gray robe appeared in mid-air beside the platform.
The old man's face, with white hair and beard, showed no emotion, but his voice carried immense authority, penetrating the entire platform.
"A mere few hundred-year-old dares to lecture me. If it weren't for your usefulness, do you think I'd cooperate with you?"
Emilio's strange sneer came from the platform, clearly not taking the old man seriously.
The old man's expression remained unchanged despite the ridicule and humiliation, seemingly indifferent to Emilio's opinion of him.
"The time is near. I know you've been hoping that useless subordinate of yours would help you break the seal here, but it seems someone has intervened!"
The old man calmly reminded.
"Neil, are you threatening me?"
Emilio's voice lowered, as if Neil, the current leader of Celestia Vale, was equally insignificant to him!
"I'm just stating the facts. It seems that besides me, you have no other choice. Are you still not ready to fulfill your promise?"
Neil's face showed a cold smile, seemingly confident in the trapped Emilio!
"Why should I trust a worthless person like you? You couldn't even get Sun and Moon Beads for me. What can you do?"
Emilio sneered dismissively.
Hearing this, Neil's face finally showed a reaction, as if the matter of the Sun and Moon Beads had affected his emotions.
"You know how sensitive my position is. Francis was almost as strong as me, and he had the Sun Bead. Do you really think I could take it from him without alerting Phoenix and Raymond?"
Neil's tone also lowered.
Emilio did not respond to Neil's question, and the atmosphere suddenly became silent.
"Enough, if you can't make up your mind, I'll make the decision for you. I haven't stepped out of Celestia Vale in twenty years; it's time to go out. I heard someone remarkable has already gathered the Sun and Moon Beads!"
After a long time, Neil suddenly spoke with a smile.
"What did you say?"
Emilio's surprised voice immediately rang out.
