Chapter 661 Buy the Entire Complex

Fortunately, there were still plenty of empty rooms in the neighboring villa. Although it was somewhat inconvenient with Kenneth and Shane, Patricia and the others decided not to worry about it for now.

They arranged for the two men to stay on the first floor of the villa, while the women took the second floor, keeping things separate.

As for how long Patricia and the others would need to stay in Novaria to protect Chloe and the others, even Ethan couldn't be sure. Perhaps only after completely resolving the issues with the Hills Guild and Cross Christianity could they make a definitive decision.

If it weren't for the desire not to disrupt Chloe and the others' daily lives, Ethan would have considered arranging for them to live in a secret location, which would undoubtedly be the safest option.

But Ethan knew that while this might be a temporary solution, living in a secret location would bring many inconveniences for Chloe and the others. They wouldn't be able to adapt quickly and would have many things they couldn't let go of.

"Have you ever thought about establishing a private residence in Novaria, Mr. Wilson?" Patricia suddenly asked while chatting with Ethan.

"A private residence? You mean finding another place for the whole family to live?" Ethan's interest was piqued. He had thought about this idea a long time ago but had been too busy to implement it.

"Exactly. You still have those Magic Circle crystals, right? If you can find a suitable place and set up a defensive Magic Circle, it would save a lot of unnecessary trouble. At least you wouldn't have to worry about the safety of the residence," Patricia reminded him.

"There's no need to make it so complicated!" Ethan pondered for a moment, then took out his phone and called Jayden.

About half an hour later, the developer of the villa complex personally came to visit Ethan's villa.

The developer, Otha Soderberg, was surprised to learn that Ethan, the chairman of the Cloud Group and the richest man in Novaria, was living in his development. Initially, he was shocked when he received Jayden's call.

Upon learning that Ethan wanted to see him, Otha immediately agreed and rushed to Ethan's villa from his office.

"Mr. Wilson, I am honored that someone of your stature is living in our villa complex. What can I do for you?" Otha, skilled at reading people, quickly got to the point.

"Mr. Soderberg, I want to buy out this entire villa complex. Name your price, but by sunset tomorrow, the entire complex must be vacated, and the property must be transferred to the Cloud Group," Ethan stated his requirements directly.

"Mr. Wilson, you want to buy the entire complex? That's a bit difficult, as most of the villas have already been sold," Otha was taken aback by Ethan's bold move and hesitated.

Knowing that Ethan was willing to pay, Otha realized he could make a significant profit. However, buying back all the villas in one day would be costly and might not be profitable.

Before Otha could finish speaking, Ethan interrupted, "I know this will be difficult for you. Let's make it simple. The market value of this complex, including the land, is about $18 billion. I'll offer you $30 billion, which should cover any losses and give you a nice profit."

"$30 billion?" Even Otha, a billionaire, was stunned by Ethan's offer. It felt like a windfall had just landed on his lap.

When he initially bought the land, it cost him over $2 billion, and the development cost was under $8 billion. The current market value of $18 billion was already a significant profit, but Ethan's offer of $30 billion meant an extra $12 billion in pure profit.

"If you agree, I'll have $30 billion transferred to your company's account immediately. But by sunset tomorrow, the complex must be vacated, and the property transferred. Is that acceptable?" Ethan confirmed.

"Absolutely. I'll have my team handle it right away and ensure it's done by sunset tomorrow!" Otha eagerly agreed, nodding vigorously. The extra $12 billion was too good to pass up.

Reclaiming all the properties was just a matter of cost, and compared to the $12 billion profit, those costs were negligible. Only a fool would refuse.

Ethan offered $30 billion to avoid unnecessary trouble and ensure Otha would expedite the process. Money was no object to him; $30 billion was just a number.

After Otha left, profusely thanking Ethan, Patricia smiled wryly and said, "Mr. Wilson, you are truly wealthy. Even for the Ladies Guild, $30 billion is a staggering amount, but you didn't even blink."

"Money is just a material possession. $30 billion isn't much to me. The Ladies Guild doesn't focus on industry, but if you wanted, a few hundred billion wouldn't be out of reach for you either," Ethan replied nonchalantly.

He was right. If the Wilson family hadn't focused so much on industry, they wouldn't have their nationwide business and immense wealth.

The same was true for the Ashford family, the Miller family, and the Harris family. These four families were more like business families rather than ancient martial arts families, and their financial power was unmatched by smaller sects.

However, in terms of overall strength, even a small sect could easily surpass the Wilson family and the Ashford family, and definitely the declining Miller family and Harris family.

"Now that we have the place, how do you plan to handle the Magic Circle? You have the Magic Circle crystals, but do you know how to set up a Magic Circle?" Patricia asked, changing the subject.

Ethan was momentarily stunned. He knew nothing about Magic Circles. Previously, with the Sun and Moon Beads, breaking formations was as easy as drinking water, but setting up a Magic Circle was a different story.

Ethan had considered this problem. While he didn't understand Magic Circles, Francis did. Recently, Francis had been studying some ancient Magic Circle texts from the SA Guild, so this was the perfect opportunity to put that knowledge to use!
