Chapter5 Fighting for a Parking Space
Two minutes later, outside The Cloud Grand Restaurant.
Ethan arrived at his designated parking spot, ready to park.
Suddenly, a Porsche sped up, trying to steal the spot before Ethan could park.
Ethan's electric car couldn't dodge in time and collided with the front of the Porsche, nearly deforming the electric car.
Fortunately, Ethan reacted quickly and got off the electric car in time, avoiding any injury.
Before Ethan could speak up, a bald middle-aged man stepped out of the Porsche. The man was dressed in a hand-tailored suit and wore a Rolex on his wrist.
Pointing at Ethan, the middle-aged man cursed loudly, "Are you blind? Can't you ride a bike?"
Ethan was speechless; it was clearly this guy who hit him, yet he dared to blame Ethan?
"And you dare to look at me? Are you asking to be slapped?"
"This is not a place for poor people like you. Push your broken car and get lost!"
The middle-aged man ranted furiously, shoving Ethan.
Initially, Ethan didn't intend to argue, but the man was too rude, so Ethan simply placed his electric car in front of the Porsche, blocking its way.
"You hit my car first. You're not leaving today without apologizing to me!" Ethan said angrily.
The middle-aged man sneered, "Apologize? You expect me, a successful man driving a Porsche, to apologize to a nobody riding a broken electric bike?"
The middle-aged man seemed to have heard the funniest joke, holding his stomach as he nearly burst out laughing.
At that moment, the passenger side window rolled down, and a slim, scantily-clad, sexy woman stepped out of the car. Her face was delicate and beautiful.
"Honey, what's going on? Didn't you promise to take me to see the chairman of The Cloud Group? How come you can't even deal with a smelly loser on an electric bike now?"
The sexy woman pouted, complaining discontentedly.
She glanced at Ethan, paused for a moment, and then sneered, "I thought it was someone important. Isn't this the useless son-in-law from The Thomas Family?"
Three years ago, The Thomas Family's search for a son-in-law had caused quite a stir in Cloud City, and this sexy woman clearly had seen Ethan before.
Then, she clung to the middle-aged man's arm, saying, "I bet he's so broke he can't afford a meal, that's why he's here to scam money! Honey, just give him some cash to get rid of him. The banquet is about to start; don't waste time here."
"Tsk, tsk, so he's the infamous good-for-nothing son-in-law!"
"To live like you, it's a disgrace to all men!"
The middle-aged man grinned, showing disdain, pulled out several thousand dollars from his wallet, and threw them at Ethan's face arrogantly, saying:
"I'm not short on money, this should be more than enough to buy your electric bike. Now scram, don't be an eyesore!"
Not only did the middle-aged man throw money at Ethan's face, but he also spat disdainfully at his feet, obviously treating Ethan like a beggar.
Seeing the scattered banknotes on the ground, Ethan was very angry; this was the first time someone dared to throw money at him!
The middle-aged man got into his car and drove the Porsche into the parking spot. As for the electric bike blocking the way, he acted as if he didn't see it and just rammed through it!
With a dull thud, the electric bike was sent flying!
The Porsche's window rolled down, and the middle-aged man sneered, flipping the bird at Ethan, "Get lost, pauper! Or I'll run you over too!"
Looking at the scattered pieces of his electric bike, Ethan was completely enraged!
That electric bike was his old friend!
It was priceless!
The middle-aged man was utterly despicable!
The next moment, Ethan charged forward, dragged the middle-aged man out of the car, and punched him in the nose!
The middle-aged man's nose bled profusely.
That wasn't the end of it; Ethan slapped the middle-aged man's face!
The middle-aged man was knocked to the ground, screaming in pain.
Ethan looked coldly at the middle-aged man, "My electric bike is more precious than your Porsche!"
This scene was witnessed by passersby, who were all stunned.
An electric bike rider beating up a Porsche driver? Was this a joke?
It completely overturned their worldview!
Even the sexy woman covered her mouth in shock.
She never expected Ethan to dare hit her boyfriend.
She hurriedly went forward and helped her boyfriend up from the ground.
The middle-aged man struggled to stand, covering his mouth, furiously saying to Ethan, "You dare hit me! You're dead! Do you know who I am?"
However, at that moment.
Not far away, a procession of Rolls-Royces approached.
A group of suit-clad bodyguards descended from the cars. They were tall and imposing, standing in a line beside Ethan.
Leading them was a silver-haired elder, who ran over with a worried face.
It was Jayden Wilson!
Jayden asked Ethan with concern, "Young Master, are you alright?"
The middle-aged man's eyes widened in shock, "Young Master?"
The middle-aged man recognized Jayden; Jayden was the vice president of The Cloud Group, a big shot he couldn't afford to offend.
Jayden was addressing Ethan as 'Young Master'?
Who exactly was Ethan!?
Jayden gave the middle-aged man a stern look, then turned to Ethan for instructions, "Young Master, how would you like to deal with this man?"
Seeing this, the sexy woman burst into laughter, "This poor guy on an electric bike, a young master? You must all be actors he hired!"
She also mocked Jayden, "And you, old man, you've got quite the acting skills!"
After she finished, she laughed heartily on her own.
The middle-aged man was terrified.
This foolish woman, she dared to mock Jayden! Did she no longer want to live?
The middle-aged man slapped the sexy woman, "Shut up, you whore!"
Then, the middle-aged man bowed to Jayden and Ethan, apologizing, "I'm sorry, I was wrong!"
Ethan said to Jayden indifferently, "Jayden, this parking spot is mine. I don't want to see any other cars parked here."
"Understood!"
Jayden nodded, turned to the suit-clad men, and gave a command, then they got into their cars.
The next moment, an astonishing scene unfolded.
Five Rolls-Royces started up.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
They crazily rammed the Porsche, pushing it out of the parking spot!
This spectacle made countless passersby drop their jaws.
In no time, the Porsche was totaled by the five Rolls-Royces!
With his Porsche wrecked, the middle-aged man didn't dare to get angry. Instead, his face showed extreme terror, and he knelt on the ground, continuously apologizing.
"I was wrong, please spare my life!"
Ethan ignored him and walked away.
Jayden gave the middle-aged man a stern glance, then also turned to leave, quickly catching up with Ethan's pace.
