Chapter 460 Jimmy's Sin

Jimmy and Bradley were already white as ghosts. Seeing Ethan's "nice guy" smile made 'em shiver all over again.

"What do you want? Jared's mess ain't got nothin' to do with us. It was all Enrique's idea. I didn't know squat about it." Jimmy was so freaked out by Ethan, he was about to bawl, his legs shaking like jelly as he plopped down on the ground, too scared to even get up.

"My cousin's drama has even less to do with me. I was still in school back then." Bradley, looking like he'd seen a ghost, quickly chimed in.

"Did I say Jared's mess had anything to do with you? And who the heck is your cousin?" Ethan raised an eyebrow, his eyes full of sarcasm as he shot a cold smile at Bradley.

"My cousin..." Bradley glanced guiltily at Jared. He'd been talking smack about Jared before, and now he had the nerve to call him cousin.

"Bradley, get your butt over here and apologize to Ethan. You really wanna keep pulling this crap?" Gerald glared at Bradley, looking like he wanted to smack him upside the head. Even though he was fuming, Bradley was still Curtis's kid. He couldn't just let him be.

"I'm sorry, Jared. I messed up. Ethan, Jared, please don't hold it against me. I'm really sorry." Bradley was shaking like a leaf, practically begging with tears in his eyes.

Ethan glanced at Gerald and saw Jessie shaking her head. He got the message.

Sighing, Ethan snorted, "You're from the Smith Family. For my mom and Gerald's sake, I won't make this harder for you. Take care and scram!"

"Thank you, Ethan, thank you!" Bradley was over the moon, thanking Ethan over and over before bolting out of there. He didn't wanna stick around that creepy place for another second.

Lester just raised an eyebrow at the whole scene but kept his mouth shut. Gary had sent him to keep things in check, so he'd just let it ride. As long as Ivan and Enrique were still breathing, he was doing his job. Jumping in now would be dumb.

"Uh, can I go too?" Jimmy asked Ethan, looking pitiful.

"Mr. Cox, right? You wanna bail too?" Ethan grinned at Jimmy.

"I swear, I didn't know about Jared's mess. It was all Enrique. I had nothing to do with it." Jimmy nodded like a bobblehead, trying to explain.

"I know Jared's mess ain't on you. Otherwise, you think you'd still be yappin' with me?" Ethan nodded.

"So I can go?" Jimmy's face lit up, a tiny bit of hope in his eyes.

"Who said you could go? Did I say that?" Ethan looked at Jimmy like he was the biggest idiot on the planet.

"Jared's mess ain't on me," Jimmy's face fell, almost in tears.

"Jared's mess ain't on you, but what about Lisa Moore? Amanda Robinson? Ring any bells?" Ethan smirked, reminding him.

Jimmy's eyes went wide, his head spinning at the mention of those names.

Everyone exchanged glances, totally clueless about what Ethan was up to. They didn't expect just dropping two names would leave Jimmy looking like a deer in headlights.

"Lisa, 21, top of her class at Everglow City Nursing School, had dreams of becoming a nurse. But on her 21st birthday, after catching a flick with her buddy Amanda, she ran into some real scumbags." Ethan's smile stayed put, but his eyes turned icy.

"I heard about those two girls while I was locked up. When they were found, they were already dead, humiliated before they were killed. The case is still unsolved! That was like three months ago." Jared looked at Jimmy, shocked. He knew Ethan wouldn't bring up Lisa and Amanda for no reason and figured Jimmy had something to do with it.

"We saw that on the news too. Still unsolved." Gerald and Emily were just as stunned, glaring at Jimmy with anger and disbelief.

"Did he do it?" Jessie asked straight up.

"He thought having a rich daddy and Enrique covering for him would let him wipe out all the evidence and turn the case cold." Ethan sneered, "You can deny it all you want. I don't need your confession. The truth will come out."

"No, it's a misunderstanding, I didn't do it." Jimmy was scared out of his mind, shaking his head.

"I said you could deny it. Doesn't matter to me. You know if you did it or not. And that's just one of your crimes. Need me to list the others?" Ethan shook his head, unfazed. From Alexander's investigation, Jimmy's rap sheet, while not as long as Enrique's, was enough to get him the death penalty ten times over.

Jimmy had violated so many women he couldn't count them on both hands, and several innocent people died because of him. He looked at Ethan, completely stunned and speechless.

"Did you get their evidence too?" Jessie walked up to Ethan, frowning.

"Do I need evidence to deal with trash like this?" Ethan shrugged, not caring.

"But you can't just go off the rails. At least give him some dignity." Jessie reminded Ethan, clearly frustrated.

"Are you talking about Norman? These two pieces of garbage, do they deserve it? If Norman were here today, Enrique and Jimmy would be dead a hundred times over. Who needs evidence?" Ethan sneered, full of disdain.

Their convo made Lester, who'd been watching, realize something. His eyes widened in shock.

He got that Ethan wasn't just some regular guy; he had some serious backing. It made sense. No ordinary person would dare mess with Enrique in Everglow City.

"Don't worry, someone will take care of this trash soon. I don't need to get my hands dirty." Ethan knew what Jessie was worried about. She was scared that if he took out Enrique and Jimmy himself, it would stir up trouble with the higher-ups.

If it were a matter of martial artists, it would be easier to handle. But Enrique and Jimmy, though evil, were regular folks and needed to be dealt with by the law.
