Chapter 329 Key Figures
Gino looked at Caspar's expectant eyes and sighed helplessly in his heart.
He didn't want to tell Caspar the truth because he didn't want her to bear too much. He had loved Caspar since she was a child so that he couldn't tell her such a cruel fact.
"So, you should be satisfied now. I'm going to rest, and you should go back early." Gino let her leave.
"So, you're agreeing to return to the Salvador family?" Caspar asked indifferently.
"I'll talk about it after I come back from Celestia Vale!" Helplessly, Gino could only try to brush it off.
"Great, I must tell Dad this good news. I'll head back now!" Sensing Gino's impatience, Caspar wisely left on her own, afraid of annoying him.
Only then did Gino breathe a sigh of relief, since he really didn't know how to explain everything to Caspar.
He pondered, 'Could Caspar accept the cruel fact that her mom was actually killed by her own dad?'
Meanwhile, far away in Sunridge at the Salvador family, Rex and Jim were also sleepless.
After Paul left Gino's office, they received a call from Paul, who already knew everything that happened in the capital.
"Gino turned out to be Phoenix's disciple. We're in big trouble now!" As he calmed down from the initial shock and anger, Rex's face was full of complexity, with a hint of worry deep in his eyes.
"We absolutely can't let him pass the Celestia Vale test alive. Once he's in Celestia Vale, Paul should have a way to deal with him!" Jim clenched his fists tightly, snorting unwillingly.
"Do you really think Paul would provoke such a powerful enemy like Phoenix for us? Phoenix is one of the seven elders of Celestia Vale, not someone an ordinary elder can compare to!" Rex remarked.
He didn't think it was a good idea to let Paul deal with Gino again.
Even if Paul dared, it was uncertain if he could succeed, not to mention whether Paul had the guts.
After all, Phoenix was not just for show but one of the true top masters!
"Dad, you don't doubt Paul, do you?" Jim's face immediately turned ugly.
"Don't forget Paul has more than just you as a disciple!" Rex reminded noncommittally.
Jim was immediately speechless, his face changing unpredictably.
"Now we can only rely on ourselves. Didn't Paul want you to return to Celestia Vale as soon as possible?" Rex suddenly changed the topic.
"Do you mean let me return to Celestia Vale and find a chance to deal with him there?" Jim's heart moved immediately.
"Exactly, it's better to rely on yourself. Only if you do it yourself can I be at ease!" Rex nodded slowly.
In fact, the most anxious person now was Rex. Once Gino entered the master level, he might come back for revenge!
Thirty years ago, Gino already wanted to kill him. Now, with his strength greatly improved and with Phoenix, how could he not be wary?
"Alright, then I'll have to go back to Celestia Vale with Paul personally. If anything happens, contact me then!" Jim looked conflicted, but he finally nodded in agreement to deal with Gino.
Early in the morning, Ethan had just finished breakfast with Chloe, Sarah, and Hannah and was driving Camila to kindergarten.
Camila was thrilled to learn that she would be living with Ethan from now on, so the task of taking her to school fell to Ethan, the only seemingly free person in the family.
Just after dropping Camila off at kindergarten, Ethan was about to go home to continue practicing martial arts when his phone rang.
"Have you found the whereabouts of the raw stones?" Seeing that the call was from Alexander, Ethan answered directly.
"Not yet, but we discovered that Ignatius has returned to the capital. I suspect they are transporting the raw stones into the capital in batches to avoid drawing attention!" Alexander explained helplessly.
"So, we can't find the whereabouts of these raw stones for now?" Ethan raised an eyebrow.
"For now, we definitely can't. But as long as I keep an eye on a few key people, I'll eventually find some clues. Recently, I've noticed that Jimmy frequently leaves the city for the suburbs at a fixed time every day!" Alexander suddenly changed the topic.
"Do you know where he goes?" Ethan asked.
"Not sure. Although there are surveillance networks in the suburbs, many places have issues with road monitoring or are in blind spots, making it impossible to capture Jimmy's exact location effectively. We can only outline a general activity area!" Alexander explained helplessly.
"Your task is to find out where Jimmy goes every day, but don't alert him!" Ethan instructed seriously.
"Understood!" After Alexander responded, Ethan hung up the phone.
"Handling these raw stones so carefully, what exactly is the Ashford family planning? To figure out the mystery behind this, I still have to start with Jimmy!" Ethan said to himself.
Sitting in the car and thinking for a moment, Ethan couldn't come up with anything and could only patiently wait for Alexander to give him more information.
After returning to the villa, Ethan went to the rooftop and saw Jesse meditating.
"Since you're back, should I leave?" Jesse opened his eyes and looked at Ethan, asking calmly.
"You're still injured. Where are you planning to go?" Ethan asked.
"Find a quiet place, anywhere to heal. After all, there are too many women here. It's inconvenient for me to stay!" Jesse's face showed a bit of embarrassment.
Ethan was stunned for a moment, thinking, 'Jesse is actually troubled by the number of women in the villa!'
"Why so many rules now?" Ethan asked, holding back his laughter.
"If you say that, I'll leave right now!" Jesse immediately felt shame and anger, standing up as if to leave in a huff.
Apparently, Ethan's casual joke made it hard for him to accept!
"If you have the guts, don't follow me even after you're healed. From now on, I'll be surrounded by women every day. Let's see what you do!" Seeing this, Ethan was speechless and threatened.
