Chapter 537 Herman Appeared

"Herman, dude, it's really you! Never thought you'd end up as a lackey for Cross Christianity. Shouldn't you explain yourself to me, the head honcho of the Wilson family? We've got a lot to chat about. Come with me," Ethan said, grinning.

"Raynaur, stop him! I gotta bounce, like, now," Herman's face twisted in panic. He yelled at Raynaur and bolted back the way he came.

"Hand over the Grail," Raynaur sneered, not even giving Ethan a second glance. He swung his twin blades and charged at Ethan.

Raynaur, also at the peak of Half-Step Grandmaster, was way stronger than the goons from earlier. Before he even got close, two sharp flashes of cold steel were already slicing through the air towards Ethan.

Ethan's eyes narrowed, and the Sun and Moon Beads popped up in front of him. With two crisp clangs, the knife edges vanished.

"You're just dead weight. Go hide," Ethan said, opening a space portal out of thin air. Before Angela could even react, he shoved her through it, and she disappeared in a flash.

Even Raynaur looked stunned at this.

"You've got a treasure from a secret realm?" Raynaur gasped.

"You talk too much," Ethan snorted. In a blink, he was right in front of Raynaur. A crushing force accompanied his fist as it bore down on Raynaur.

Raynaur felt like he was in a blender, a massive force trying to rip him apart. As Ethan's fist came down, Raynaur used every ounce of strength to block with his knives.

But the steel blades shattered under Ethan's punch. The fist then slammed into Raynaur's chest, sending him flying.

"The best part about infinite realm suppression is being unbeatable at the same level. The boxing technique from the ZF knack is seriously badass. Crushing with pure strength feels awesome," Ethan said, looking at his fist, clearly pleased with the result.

The strength Ethan showed freaked out the Cross Christianity crew. With one punch, he wrecked Raynaur, who was also at the peak of Half-Step Grandmaster. Little did they know, Ethan was itching for a master-level opponent to test his skills.

"I don't have time to mess around with you guys. Getting Herman back is the priority," Ethan said, glancing in the direction Herman had fled. Ignoring the Cross Christianity group, he vanished.

After booking it for miles, Herman, now at the peak of Half-Step Grandmaster, was pushing his limits. But out of nowhere, Ethan popped up in front of him, making him skid to a halt.

"Herman, man, it's been ages. Aren't you gonna catch up with me? Why the rush? Or have you done too much shady stuff and can't face me?" Ethan raised an eyebrow, locking eyes with Herman.

"What do you want?" Herman's face turned grim. He hadn't expected Raynaur to fail at stopping Ethan.

"I want you to come back with me. The Wilson family's got too many loose ends, and without you, we can't tie 'em up. So, you'll have to put up with a bit of hassle," Ethan said bluntly.

"I don't know jack about the Wilson family's drama. I'm done with you guys," Herman argued, his face pale.

"I'm not here to negotiate. You're coming with me," Ethan's face darkened, and before Herman could react, Ethan was right in front of him.

Herman tried to bolt, but Ethan grabbed his collarbone, freezing him in place.

"Since I found you, did you really think you could just run off?" Ethan sneered, then opened the space portal again and dragged Herman into the Tiger Mount secret realm.

When they landed in Tiger Mount, Herman was floored.

"Is this a secret realm?" Herman looked around, eyes wide with disbelief.

"At least you know something," Ethan chuckled. Just then, Francis and Angela appeared.

"What are you up to now?" Francis asked, looking annoyed. He'd sensed Angela's sudden arrival in Tiger Mount and came to check it out. After hearing her story, he didn't expect Ethan to bring another person in.

"It's all about Herman," Ethan said, looking a bit pale.

"You're really something. Opening space portals all over the place like it's nothing. Don't you know the farther the distance, the more super energy it eats up?" Francis warned, noticing Ethan's weakened state.

"I didn't think it would drain so much super energy. My bad," Ethan admitted, a bit frustrated.

"Never mind. So, this is Herman, the Wilsons' second elder from back then?" Francis now focused on Herman.

"Herman, don't think anyone's coming to save you here," Ethan warned coldly.

Herman's face was a mix of uncertainty and contemplation.

"Since you've already burned through super energy to get here, you should recharge first. I'll keep an eye on him. Deal with him after you're back to full strength," Francis reminded Ethan.

"Alright, I'll leave these two to you," Ethan said, then headed towards Francis's Breeze Pavilion.
