Chapter 383 Kissing at the Airport
Alice seized the moment, hugged Ethan's arm, and gave him a quick peck on the cheek, drawing envious looks from nearby guys.
"What are you doing?" Ethan's face changed instantly.
"I don't care. If you don't want me to tell Sarah and Chloe, you have to kiss me!" Alice said smugly.
"Isn't it a bit much with all these people around?" Ethan looked torn. It wasn't that he didn't want to kiss Alice, but he had just been walking closely with Angela. Kissing Alice now might make him look bad.
"Are you going to kiss me or not?" Alice pressed, glaring at him.
Feeling cornered, Ethan gritted his teeth and gave Alice a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Nope, that doesn't count!" Alice's next words made Ethan realize how tricky she could be.
"Where do you want me to kiss you?" Ethan asked, watching as Alice pointed to her lips.
After a moment's hesitation, Ethan took a deep breath and kissed her on the lips.
But this kiss wasn't something he could easily escape. Alice wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body against his.
How could Ethan resist Alice's bold move?
They ended up kissing passionately in the terminal, oblivious to everyone around them.
When Alice's breathing got heavy, Ethan finally broke free, only to find people staring at them.
"Does this mean you'll take responsibility for me?" Alice asked softly, ignoring the stares and looking at Ethan.
"No, now hurry up and go!" Ethan said grimly, pulling the still-smiling Alice towards the security checkpoint.
After passing through security, Ethan sighed in relief, realizing how tough it was to deal with women.
Enjoying the company of beautiful women was harder than it seemed, especially with two of them.
He could sense Angela's disdain and anger, even though she pretended to be indifferent and stayed close to him.
Alice, meanwhile, clung tightly to his arm, making the three of them the spotlight in the waiting area.
"Can you stop causing trouble? I really have a task and don't want to attract attention!" Ethan pleaded quietly with Alice.
"Will you kiss me again in the future?" Alice asked persistently.
"Whatever you say, just let me finish this mission first!" Ethan, feeling helpless, agreed.
"If you agree to be with me, I won't just stay out of your way; I'll even help you win over this beauty. Deal?" Alice whispered in his ear, her eyes lighting up.
Ethan shivered instinctively, glancing at Angela to see if she had heard. Seeing that she hadn't, he sighed in relief.
"I want to live a few more years, so stop messing up!" Ethan gently scratched Alice's palm with his fingers.
Alice's mischievous look vanished, and she pulled her hand away, keeping a bit of distance.
Ethan was surprised that his attitude and a small gesture could change Alice's behavior so much. He felt a bit puzzled.
Seeing Alice now focused on her phone and not bothering him, he finally relaxed.
But soon, Ethan's phone buzzed with a message from Alice: [Remember what you said today. I've got my eyes on you for life. And since you kissed me, if you ditch me, I'll tell Eric!]
Ethan instinctively looked at Alice, who raised an eyebrow at him, challenging him.
Ethan quickly replied: [Even daring to threaten your man, wait until we get to Norway and see how I deal with you!]
Alice's reply made Ethan want to run away: [No problem, I'll book a room and wait for you!]
"Are you busy?" Angela asked softly, seeing Ethan glued to his phone.
"No, just reading some news!" Ethan quickly put his phone away, not wanting her to see the messages between him and Alice.
"Who is she to you? I know you have a lot of women around you. Is she another one of your close friends?" Angela asked with a hint of sarcasm.
Ethan realized why Angela had been so cold to him from the start. She knew about his relationships with Sarah and Chloe and probably thought he was a player.
"That's right, she's also my woman. Are you jealous?" Ethan asked.
Since she already knew, there was no point in hiding it. If she thought he was a scumbag, he might as well own it.
His words were somewhat provocative, and he wanted to see Angela's reaction.
"You really are a scoundrel!" Angela snorted disdainfully.
"That's right. I admit I'm a scoundrel. If you say so, then I am. But no matter how much of a scoundrel I am, I have no interest in a woman like you!" Ethan retorted.
"Shameless!" Angela didn't expect Ethan to admit it and be so infuriating. Her smile couldn't hide her anger, and she snorted through gritted teeth.
Ethan was clearly trying to provoke her!
"I hope this task ends soon so I can never see you again. You make me sick!" Angela, furious but unable to do anything in public, snorted through gritted teeth.
"Same to you!" Ethan responded bluntly.
They then turned away from each other, no longer pretending to be 'intimate.'
"Did you make her angry?" Alice asked Ethan softly, noticing their behavior.
"It's all because of you!" Ethan rolled his eyes.
"Is she jealous?" Alice's expression turned strange.
Ethan was taken aback, then instinctively glanced at Angela, who had her back to him.
He thought to himself, 'Angela is indeed unusual, but she couldn't be jealous. No way!'
