Chapter 592 Arrival in the Northwest

The few master-level folks from Celestia Vale all turned their eyes to Phoenix when they heard the news. Clearly, they weren't going anywhere unless he gave the word.

"Listen up, you guys should head back first. Hanging around here is pointless. Let Raymond know I'm heading to Tiger Mount," Phoenix ordered.

The master-level folks nodded and left the hotel together. "I'll leave him to you. I can't do much inside, so I'm out," Trevor said, ready to leave.

"Don't sweat it. Go take care of Beverly," Ethan teased Trevor with a grin.

"What are you talking about?" Trevor blushed and shot a quick look at Phoenix, clearly embarrassed.

"You've already left the order, so why worry about any rules?" Phoenix said with a smile, noticing Trevor's discomfort.

"Phoenix, I'm outta here!" Trevor hurried off, looking even more flustered.

"He's heading back to Beverly and still gets embarrassed around me." Ethan chuckled, closing the door.

"I heard about what went down in Everglow. Are you planning to go after the hidden sects?" Phoenix asked, staring at Ethan.

"You found out so fast." Ethan was surprised.

"It's not exactly a secret. Plus, we got the news when Giuseppe and Matteo ran into trouble," Phoenix explained, a bit helpless.

"Let's not get into that now. I'll take you to Tiger Mount for treatment first," Ethan said, summoning the Sun and Moon Beads and opening the portal to Tiger Mount.

As soon as Ethan and Phoenix showed up in Tiger Mount, Francis, who was meditating, sensed them and came over right away.

"Phoenix, where's your arm?" Francis's face darkened when he saw Phoenix's missing arm.

"The arm's frozen in the hospital. I'll need Ethan to reattach it later," Phoenix said with a bitter smile.

"What if it can't be reattached? Planning to be a one-armed hero?" Francis frowned, sounding a bit reproachful.

"Can't you trust me? With me here, how could Phoenix end up without an arm?" Ethan shot back, annoyed.

"Stop bragging. Who knows how long it'll take? Hurry up and help him inside," Francis snapped, glaring at Ethan.

"Such a fiery temper today," Ethan muttered under his breath, feeling a bit guilty under Francis's glare. An angry Francis was definitely not someone to mess with.

Helping Phoenix stabilize his current injuries wasn't too hard for Ethan. Except for the arm that couldn't be reattached right away, the other injuries were mostly healed after his treatment.

Phoenix now needed to rest and get himself back to peak condition, ready for the arm reattachment.

For master-level experts, especially those at the grandmaster level, Ethan could only help them recover from injuries. As for other stuff, he was still growing and was just a master level himself.

"Phoenix, this is all I can do for now. You need to rest and recuperate," Ethan said, finishing up the treatment two hours later, sounding a bit helpless.

"No worries. I can chat with Francis. Having company won't be boring," Phoenix replied with a smile, taking it all in stride.

"Ethan, how long will it take for you to reattach his arm?" Francis asked, frowning.

"At least until I fully master the ZF knack or reach the grandmaster level. But neither of these can happen overnight; it'll take time," Ethan explained, shaking his head.

"No problem. I have plenty of time. I can wait." Phoenix nodded with a smile.

"Alright, I'll leave Phoenix to you. I have other stuff to handle outside, so I need to head back," Ethan said to Francis.

"Get lost, and don't come in to disturb my reading," Francis urged impatiently.

"I'll keep the hotel room. You can check out when you leave. I'm outta here," Ethan said to Phoenix before leaving Tiger Mount and heading back to the real world.

"Francis pretends not to care, but he's actually very worried, even getting irritable! It's rare for him to care about someone," Ethan muttered with a smile as he left the hotel. He grabbed a cab back to the villa, and it was already dark.

Ethan had dinner with Chloe, Jessie, and the others, then stayed at the villa for the night. Balancing his time among everyone was a bittersweet choice for him. Nobody knew how many times he had to shuttle between rooms in one night. By the time dawn approached, the lights in the villa were finally all off.

This time, Ethan didn't leave without saying goodbye to Chloe and the others. He left in front of everyone. He didn't take anyone with him or drive. He took a cab directly to the airport and boarded a plane to the northwest.

After landing in Stardale in the northwest, Ethan didn't rush to act. Instead, he hired a taxi and wandered around the city.

The taxi driver had never encountered a passenger like Ethan before. But since there was money to be made, he didn't ask questions. After all, the amount Ethan offered was enough to keep him driving non-stop for a week.

"Stardale is probably the closest big city to the northwest border, right?" After wandering for half a day, Ethan suddenly asked the driver.

"That's right. Is this your first time here? There's not much to see here. If you want to travel and see the sights, you should go to the snow mountains or the grasslands," The driver, seeing Ethan start a conversation, began to enthusiastically introduce nearby attractions.

"How far is it to Vast Mountain?" Ethan suddenly asked.

The driver didn't reply and slammed on the brakes, pulling over to the side of the road.
