Chapter28 Are you satisfied?
Evan knocked his head firmly. With each one, his forehead cracked, blood flowing freely!
“Evan!”
Beside him, Anastasia's face turned pale as she desperately reached out and pulled at his sleeves, her voice quivering with tears, “Get up quickly! Why are you kneeling down to them? You're Evan, the vice president of a company. You...”
Evan screamed angrily and forcefully shoved her to the ground, kicking her mercilessly, “You still have the gall to speak? Kneel down with me!”
It's all this damn woman's fault!
Why did she provoke the wrong person?
Why did she have to anger such an important figure right in front of him?
Doesn't she have a brain? Can’t she understand the situation?
Although Kevin didn't say it explicitly, even a fool could tell that the status and position of these two people far surpassed his. After all, even he had to bow in front of them!

“His family background isn’t simple. His family’s total assets are worth several million dollars, and they have a big status in Novaria. Is he making a fool of himself today?”
Someone lowered their voice, looking cautious, “Shh, keep your voice down. Didn’t you see the boss? In front of that young man, even the boss had to bow and smile respectfully. His status is definitely extraordinary!”

Under countless gazes, Ethan slowly stood up.
Looking down at Evan from above, he spoke deeply, “As a subordinate of Cloud Group, you humiliated others in public, bringing shame to the company! Are you truly worthy of being the company’s deputy general manager? Do you deserve that position?!”
Evan trembled in fear, crawling toward Ethan and tightly grasping the man’s legs while crying out, “Please calm down, Sir! It was my mistake to offend you! Please, show me mercy. I'm willing to work for you like a dog. I truly know my wrongs!”

Ethan's body trembled, and he directly sent Evan flying with each firm word, “In my company, virtue comes first before ability! What of those qualities do you have for you to dare become my subordinate? Do you deserve it?!”
Evan was thrown five meters away and fell to the ground, as lifeless as ashes. He deeply regretted his idiocy!
“Sir?”
Kevin stood beside with a respectful expression and cautiously said, “Should I contact Vice President Wilson now to terminate Evan's position?”
Ethan's face was cold and indifferent as he said in a deep voice, “Tell him that the new deputy general manager of this subsidiary must possess both virtue and talent, along with outstanding abilities! Dismiss Evan immediately, and notify all subsidiaries under Cloud Group, including relevant partner companies, to never hire him again!”
With a single command, Kevin didn't dare to delay even half a second. He immediately walked to the side and quietly made a call to Jayden.
Just half a minute later...
Buzz...
Evan's phone buzzed urgently in his pocket, indicating an incoming call.
He took out his phone and saw the caller ID, making his scalp tingle. It was Luke, his immediate superior and his company's president!
With a voice filled with rage, Luke's voice boomed through the phone, “Evan, what the hell did you do? Abusing your position and acting all high and mighty? You, don’t even say a word! Just pack up and get lost! You're finished, and so is your family!”
After speaking, there was a loud click as he abruptly hung up the call.
Evan was completely frightened.
Everything was ruined!
He worked so hard to reach his current position, only for it to be destroyed in an instant. It was all because of that despicable Anastasia!
“I'll kill you!”
Suddenly garnering energy, he grabbed Anastasia's neck, wishing to strangle this despicable woman to death!
“Enough!”
Kevin coldly shouted and quickly walked in front of Ethan, slightly bowing his head. “Sir, how should we proceed with this? How do we deal with Evan… and this bastard!”
As he said that, he pointed his finger at Caleb, who was lying on the ground. Caleb was in a pitiful state. Ethan had broken his spine, and the back of his head was also injured. He laid on the ground convulsing, but his consciousness remained clear, having seen everything that had just happened. He had reached the position of manager for a reason, which was that he wasn’t stupid. Now, everything was very clear to him.
This man in front of him even made Kevin humble himself, and a single word from him could determine life or death!
“Whether they live or die, I don't want to waste my time thinking about it.” Ethan's gaze lowered, and he calmly spoke, “This is your territory, handle it as you see fit.”
Kevin's heart shook violently.
This was... a test from Mr. Wilson, the chairman!
If he handled this incident well, he would easily rise to success. But if he messed up, his position might come to an end. If Mr. Wilson wanted to deal with him, it’d be as simple as eating and drinking water!
“Despicable creature!” Kevin's mind suddenly became clear. He turned angry as he kicked Caleb's temple with force, knocking him out cold. Afterward, he said with fury, “To dare anger Mr. Wilson, you don’t deserve to live!”
After the kick, his gaze fell once again on Evan's face.
There was an air of murderous intent.
Boom!
A thunderous sound exploded in Evan's mind, and Kevin's gaze startled him, making his heart pound. He desperately looked toward Ethan and begged, “Sir...”
Before he could finish his sentence, his words got stuck in his throat.
Ethan's gaze sent shivers down his spine!
It was cold, resembling indifferent eyes of someone superior looking down on ants!
“You angered Mr. Wilson, and you still ask for mercy?” Kevin's eyes narrowed. “If you refuse being a decent person, then be a dog instead! Break his limbs so he can never stand again!”
Several bodyguards behind them acted at the same time. With their strong and powerful legs raised high, they stomped down heavily.
“Arghhh!”
Evan was in excruciating pain as his legs and arms were crushed by the bodyguards, letting out a heart-wrenching scream.
Next to him, Anastasia was suffocating from being choked. When she opened her eyes and saw this scene, her eyelids fluttered and her face turned pale, collapsing directly on the ground.
The bodyguards hesitated as they glanced at Kevin. One of them asked, “Boss, what about this woman?”
Kevin turned his head and looked at Ethan. On the other hand, Ethan raised his cup and sipped his drink, his face calm.
Afterward, he commanded, “She insulted me with vulgar language. Slap her a hundred times and beat her filthy mouth!”
Kevin's gaze turned ruthless. “Make sure you slap her until you break all her teeth with the slaps, then throw her out!”
The bodyguards struck left and right, swinging their hands with full force as they ruthlessly slapped Anastasia's face. Soon, her mouth filled up with blood and broken teeth. She could only scream in agony until she fell into a complete coma, no longer making any sound.
Evan, Caleb, and Anastasia were ultimately grabbed by a few bodyguards and flung out of the restaurant's entrance as if they were sacks, landing heavily on the dusty street and raising a cloud of dust.
“They've all been settled with.”
Inside the restaurant, Kevin finally felt a sense of relief. He cautiously looked toward Ethan and asked, “Sir, are you satisfied with our actions?”
