Chapter98 The Fate of the Duo
Wally and the Crossing Gang’s members were stunned, their faces full of astonishment. They looked at each other, taking a while to react.
They obviously didn’t expect such a thing to happen between Frank and his son!
“Don't be too agitated. If I had a son like this, I wouldn't save him either. How about I get rid of him, so you won't be bothered anymore?” Ethan’s expression looked like he was doing Frank justice. He squatted down, grabbing Louis with one hand while the other was on his neck.
“Wait!” Frank’s eyes widened, feeling panicked. He was indeed angry, even furious! However, that woman was only his mistress, and Louis was his only son. Although he was angry, how could he let Louis actually die?
Ethan grinned and stared at Frank, “What's wrong? Are you going to plead for this bastard? Or will you exchange him for Sarah?”
However, just at that moment, a gunshot made everyone's faces pale. Ethan’s expression changed, while Frank’s eyes widened!
Among the Crossing Gang’s crowd, someone fired a bullet under Wally’s signal, hitting Louis directly in the chest.
The poor man didn't even have time to scream before his eyes widened and he lost his breath.
“Wally, you bastard!” Frank suddenly shouted angrily, rushing toward Wally.
However, before he could reach Wally, the second gunshot rang. His body abruptly stopped, staring blankly at the gun as fresh blood oozed from his chest. He then went limp, collapsing to the ground as he died.
“How clever!”
Ethan was shocked by Wally's decisive action. At this critical moment, he didn’t hesitate in killing Frank and Louis. This was completely unexpected.
Wally sneered coldly, “Hmph! My son's matters aren’t related to the two of them. Do you really think that I’d spare them if I cooperated with you?”
Taking a deep breath, Ethan nodded involuntarily.
Frank and Louis probably never thought they’d die by Wally instead of Ethan.
It was a pity for Frank. He could’ve had a somewhat dignified passing, but he ended up dying in a place like this, with nobody to even collect his body.
“Don't tell me you sympathize with them?” Wally looked at Ethan's sad expression and sneered again.
Ethan shook his head and calmly stared at Wally, “I’m not sympathetic; just a bit emotional. Now that Frank and Louis are dead, it's only you and I left for the next course of action.”
“I believe Frank already told you the price; 15 billion dollars. Transfer it to me immediately, and I'll release Sarah. Don't think about any tricks, since I’m not as stupid as Frank. I've also sent my two sons out of the city overnight!”
Wally threatened Ethan with confidence, seeming to have prepared thoroughly.
Ethan was completely surrounded by Wally's men, with only about ten gunmen still on Wally’s side. He wasn't afraid of Ethan anymore.
Ethan sighed helplessly, suggesting another solution. “15 billion? Maybe we can negotiate a bit. If you release Sarah, I can pretend nothing happened. After all, you've killed Frank, so you can easily make up a story to the Harris family. If you do that, you can continue being the Crossing gang’s leader. What do you think?”
Wally laughed coldly at Ethan's words, “Do you think I'm a child? If I release Sarah, the Harris family might spare me, but you’d probably come after my life immediately! I have a safer way; I’ll take the money and leave without being afraid. Isn't that better?”
Ethan slowly squinted his eyes, “So, it's non-negotiable?”
“There was nothing to negotiate from the beginning. Besides the money, I also want you to kneel and apologize to me. I’ll make you pay for what you did to my sons!” Wally snorted coldly and immediately signaled his subordinates.
Other than the ten men holding guns, hundreds of others gathered around Wally.
The Crossing Gang’s members raised their sticks and knives, charging toward Ethan. Wally's face was fierce. Regardless of anything, he wanted to capture and control Ethan first. That way, not only could he avenge his sons, but he could also gain leverage. His chances of getting the money would also increase significantly!
However, what happened next surprised Wally and the ten men. Ethan remained calm and unfazed in front of the hundreds of people. He reached out and grabbed a dump cart in the nearby overgrown grass, wielding it directly.
It was still filled with industrial-sized crushed stones, weighing at least a few hundred pounds! How on earth was this guy wielding it?
What surprised them even more was that Ethan instantly swung the crushed stones out from the cart, knocking down a large group of the Crossing Gang members, dropping like flies. Many of them fell to the ground, crying and wailing. Those lucky enough to avoid the initial attack suffered an even more tragic fate as Ethan swung the cart and directly hit them.
Everything happened incredibly fast, almost within a few breaths. Albeit fighting one against many, Ethan almost completely dealt with the Crossing Gang members. When Wally finally reacted, not a single member was left standing.
Only Ethan, Wally, and the ten men remained, creating an eerie atmosphere.
“Your members are weak; looks like they need more training.” Ethan casually threw the cart into the thick grass over a dozen meters away, calmly clapping his hands without even gasping for breath.
Looking at Ethan at this moment, Wally's heart trembled as he panicked! Ethan's inhuman strength made him realize that he might’ve made the wrong decision.
However, it was too late to regret now.
“Shoot his hands and feet off!” Regaining his composure, Wally yelled angrily.
The gunmen immediately pulled the trigger upon hearing his command.
Consecutive gunshots filled the air. Ethan's expression turned serious, and in that moment, he almost vanished from his original position. In the dim light, he quickly rolled on the ground, evading the first wave of bullets with his extraordinary speed and reflexes.
Simultaneously, he had a few more stones in his hands. Without hesitation, he swiftly threw them toward the gunmen.
Accompanied by a few screams, Wally’s eyes widened again.
Unexpectedly, five out of the ten gunmen he had instantly fell to the ground.
“Stop!” At this moment, a gunman emerged from the factory building. He brought Sarah, bound and held captive, with him, while his gun was pressed against the back of her head!
Ethan's face changed, and he immediately stopped.
The momentum on his body became was fiercer than before!
