Chapter 264 Kenny's Growth
Hearing Logan's words, Dashiell glared at him, his face turning sullen.
Even though Dashiell was equally annoyed by Ethan's disregard, he wouldn't show it so blatantly on his face, let alone curse out loud, as it would be self-humiliating.
Zephyr and Beverly both looked at Logan with disdain, silently cursing him as an idiot.
Originally, these reporters were unfamiliar with the Wilson Family. Even if Ethan really ignored them, Dashiell and his group wouldn't have felt anything. But with Logan shouting it out, all the reporters got excited and took several photos of him.
Logan's outburst solidified the fact that Ethan did not favor the Wilson Family!
"Dorian, you actually chose to cooperate with such an idiot. It's really a shame!" Ethan didn't even bother to acknowledge Logan. Instead, he smiled and teased Dorian.
Dorian's face immediately turned ugly.
"Ethan, what do you mean by that? Who are you calling an idiot?" Hearing this, Logan got even more riled up. He couldn't stand being humiliated by Ethan in person and started shouting with a livid face.
"Shut up! If you keep causing trouble, get out!" Dashiell was furious and shouted angrily at Logan.
Only then did Logan realize that even Dorian was glaring at him with a cold look. His heart skipped a beat, and he shut his mouth with an unnatural expression.
"I heard your company is opening today, so we came uninvited to join the fun. You wouldn't blame us for being abrupt, would you?" A cold smile appeared on Dorian's gloomy face.
"Of course not! We shall be greatly honored by your presence. Please, come in!" Ethan smiled slightly and led the way into the hall.
"Ethan, is it true that only a few people are here for the opening of Stellar Nexus Enterprises? If you're short on people, just let me know. I have connections in Everglow City and can help you find a few people to support you." Dorian grinned upon looking at the guests on site, who were only a few dozen besides the reporters.
"Dorian, I know you're the most influential person in Everglow City, much stronger than an outsider like me, but didn't you cause tonight's situation?"
Ethan looked at Dorian with a forced smile and asked back.
"What is your point? I don't understand," Dorian squinted his eyes and asked with a smile.
"It doesn't matter if you don't understand. Anyway, I still have to thank you. I was worried that the banquet hall would be too crowded if all the guests arrived." Ethan nodded noncommittally.
"Is that so? But the current situation seems to be the opposite, doesn't it?" Dorian raised his eyebrows and reminded him.
"Don't worry. They should be arriving soon. I specifically instructed them to come after your arriving out of respect for you," Ethan looked at his watch and said with a smile.
Dorian immediately froze.
"From what you're saying, more people are coming to your opening banquet?" Dorian asked in confusion.
"I admit that in Everglow City, my connections can't compare to yours. But outside of Everglow City, it's a different story. Because of the distance, they arrived a bit late and didn't let you have your way!" Ethan explained noncommittally.
As soon as he finished speaking, many men and women began to pour into the banquet hall in groups. The previously spacious hall quickly filled up with these suddenly appearing people.
"Who are these people? I've never seen them before; they all seem like new faces!"
"Why are there so many foreigners?"
"Dorian probably came to watch the show. Ethan and he clearly have deep grudges!"
"Could these people be actors hired by Ethan?"
For a moment, the reporters started discussing fervently, saying all sorts of things but clearly still confused about the situation.
"I miscalculated. I didn't expect you to bring people from outside Everglow City. But don't forget, this is Everglow City. Even if they come, what can they do?" Dorian squinted his eyes, his face looking a bit unnatural as he snorted lightly.
"Quantum Nexus Corporation extends its warmest congratulations to Stellar Nexus Enterprises on its establishment and wishes it a prosperous business!"
"So does Luminary Solutions Group!"
"Enigma Enterprises Ltd. ..."
"Zenith Dynamics Corporation ..."
"..."
Next, a group of corporate representatives approached Ethan and introduced themselves. As they did, the entire room fell into shock.
These suddenly appearing groups, although not local to Everglow City, were all well-known entities. They were either among the top 500 domestic companies or major international corporations.
They wondered why these well-known domestic and international companies would attend Stellar Nexus Enterprises' opening banquet.
"No, Ethan, stop pretending. These must be actors you hired!" Logan was the first to jump out and shout at Ethan.
"They're all real. You can find the personal information of these speakers on their companies' official websites!" Kenny, who had been silent all this time, reminded calmly while staring at his phone.
With one sentence, Logan's arrogance was extinguished, saving Ethan the trouble of explaining.
"Idiot, I told you not to speak and embarrass yourself, but you just had to humiliate yourself!" Beverly teased Logan from the side.
Logan didn't expect Beverly to mock him in such a setting, and he was instantly furious.
"Enough! Say one more word, and you'll go back to the hotel immediately!" Dashiell knew things were going worsen and immediately shouted angrily at Logan.
After speaking, Dashiell gave Beverly a deep look. She remained indifferent, clearly not taking it to heart.
"Sorry, Dorian, but it seems your goal for today will be hard to achieve! But what surprises me is that Kenny has grown quite a bit in just a few days!" Ethan looked at Kenny thoughtfully with a smile.
"I have to thank you for that. People need to grow, and I owe my progress to you!" Kenny put away his phone nonchalantly and said calmly.
Kenny's indifference made Ethan look at him in a new light and also comforted the previously annoyed Dorian.
"When did you quietly invite so many well-known companies to Everglow City to put on this show with you?" Sarah asked curiously in Ethan's ear.
"It's all thanks to Alice. Don't forget, we have an investment company overseas, and we've invested in and hold shares in many of these companies!" Ethan explained calmly.
