“Some people don't bother with reasoning and won't give you a chance to explain," Ethan pointed out calmly.
"I prefer to try reasoning first. Using violence as a solution is always the last resort," Kenny stated self-righteously.
Ethan and Sarah were both taken aback by Kenny's attitude. Confused and disapproving, Sarah questioned, "Kenny, you can't say that. They were the ones who started the fight. Should my brother-in-law just stand there and take it?"
Kenny's expression briefly showed embarrassment and annoyance before he composed himself. Ethan couldn't help but think that Kenny was another pretentious individual without any valid reasons.
Could he be related to the Ashford family with a last name like Yan?
“So, what's the outcome now? Aren't we still supposed to negotiate? Even if we resort to violence, we need to convince the other person, right?"
Kenny maintained his irritating smile. He then brandished the porcelain shard in his hand and continued, "Let's not dwell on the authenticity of this shard for now. Any genuine connoisseur, even someone with basic knowledge of porcelain, knows a simple principle. When ceramic pieces break, the fresh edges are white and dull in texture. Over time, these edges darken.
Upon hearing this, the face of the flat-headed youth instantly changed. Usually, they fooled those who looked honest and easy to deceive when they pulled their scams. Who would have thought there was something fishy going on here? Someone observed so carefully?
Unexpectedly, they encountered someone who knows their trade today!
“The degree of blackening on the edges of these broken porcelain shards differs when you examine them closely. It suggests that these shards have been broken multiple times, and they don't seem to be from the same bottle! I'm intrigued—how did you manage to assemble these numerous porcelain pieces from different time periods into one complete antique porcelain bottle?" Kenny wore a smug smile as he confidently posed the question to the flat-headed youth.
Surprisingly, this guy really had some knowledge, leaving the flat-headed youth speechless!
"Now the situation is clear. I don't need to say who should be arrested, right?" Kenny smiled and reminded the several duty officers.
The police officers nodded in approval and smiled at Kenny before proceeding to handcuff the flat-headed youth and the other troublemakers, leading them away. Following protocol, statements would still need to be given, but the officers wouldn't dare inconvenience someone like Kenny.
Ultimately, the gangsters would likely be detained for a few days before being released, a minor consequence for their actions.
"Thank you, Kenny! Let me introduce you, this is my sister Sarah, and this is her boyfriend!" Maria gratefully introduced Sarah and Ethan to Kenny.
"Kenny!" Kenny took the initiative to reach out, but not to Ethan, but to Sarah instead.
"Are you Kenny?" Sarah, upon hearing this, widened her eyes in disbelief!
Although she had never met Kenny in person, she had heard Chloe mention this name several times, so she naturally understood who this guy was!
Ethan, on the other hand, narrowed his eyes as soon as he heard Maria call him Kenny. He had suspected it from the beginning, and now it turned out to be true!

Surprisingly, despite Sarah's astonishment, she showed no intention of shaking his hand. Kenny's hand in mid-air slightly stiffened, then he discreetly withdrew it without leaving a trace. "That's right, have you heard of me?"
"How can Sarah not have heard of you? She's my sister's best friend!" Maria explained on Sarah's behalf.

"I forgot to mention, Sarah is a member of the Harris family," Maria added quickly.
"Ah, so that means Miss Harris will definitely be present at our engagement banquet on the 15th to give us her blessings, right?" Kenny looked at Sarah with even more surprise, and the smile on his face became even brighter.
From beginning to end, it seemed like he had completely ignored Ethan.
"Both Sarah and I will be there. As for whether we'll be there to give you our blessings, you'll find out when the time comes!" Ethan said calmly, holding Sarah's hand.

"Ethan... That person just now was Kenny!"
Until Ethan pulled her away, Sarah snapped back to reality and asked Ethan incredulously, "Isn't it obvious? There's no need to be so surprised. Even if we didn't meet on the street, we would have met eventually!"
Ethan remained indifferent to her reaction as if Kenny's sudden appearance didn't affect him emotionally.
"I just didn't expect such a coincidence! So, the heir of the Ashford family is him! But looking back at his annoying attitude just now, it's really disgusting to think that he could be the third-generation heir of the Ashford family!"
Thinking back to Kenny's self-righteous and pompous behavior in front of Ethan, Sarah felt a wave of disgust.
