Chapter 330 Master
Upon hearing this, Jesse immediately felt deflated. His purpose for this trip was to obtain something from Ethan, so naturally, he had to follow him. Moreover, the two had made a bet.
"Ethan, if you make things difficult for me like this, you won't have any friends!" Jesse reminded him, his face full of frustration.
Ethan didn't expect such words to come out of Jesse's mouth.
"Do you even know what a friend is?" Ethan looked at Jesse with a mix of amusement and exasperation, then realized that having no friends was indeed a sad thing. It seemed like he was rubbing salt into the wound.
"Alright, I know it must be awkward for you to stay here. The villa next door is vacant. I'll talk to Hannah, and you can stay there for a while. No one is living there now anyway!" Before Jesse could say anything, Ethan pointed to Hannah's villa next door and said to Jesse.
"Alright!" Jesse's eyes lit up at the words, and he quickly nodded in agreement.
Ethan rolled his eyes, then took out the key to the villa next door and tossed it to Jesse.
He had asked Hannah for it in the morning, and he was already planning to let Jesse stay next door temporarily.
"By the way, Ethan, there's something I want to tell you!" Seeing Ethan turn to leave, Jesse quickly called out.
"What is it now?" Ethan raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Do you remember the person you caught a few days ago?" Jesse's face turned serious.
"Are you talking about Andrew?" Ethan's heart skipped a beat as he asked.
"That's right. You'd better go check on where he's being held as soon as possible. If you delay, something might happen!" Jesse reminded him seriously.
"How do you know?" Ethan's face changed instantly.
He didn't think that Jesse would lie to him. Andrew should have no connection with Jesse, and there was no reason for Jesse to deceive him.
"He should be a disciple of Asura Bloodhand! He practices demonic cultivation that absorbs others' superpowers for his use. This kind of demonic cultivation not only absorbs others' superpowers but also recovers at an astonishing speed! If you don't go soon, your people might not be able to handle it, and he might escape or even cause harm!" Jesse finally revealed the hidden details.
"Thanks. I'll talk to you when I get back!" Although he still had doubts, Ethan knew that time was of the essence, and Jesse wouldn't lie. He left a word of thanks and immediately ran out.
Driving out, Ethan simultaneously dialed Greg's number.
After finding out where Andrew was being held, he headed straight there.
In fact, if Jesse hadn't reminded him just now, Ethan would have almost forgotten about Andrew.
Andrew was held in a villa in an ordinary villa community. However, this villa stood out because it had an unusually high number of security personnel.
When Ethan arrived, Greg was already waiting outside.
"Mr. Wilson, he's still inside. I just checked on him. Follow me!" Greg didn't waste any words and led Ethan into the villa.
In one of the rooms, Ethan saw Andrew, whose hands and feet were locked with four iron chains. He was sitting cross-legged on a large bed, and the four thick iron chains were embedded into the wall behind him to prevent him from breaking free.
"Do you think these chains can hold him?" Ethan asked.
He looked at the four iron chains, thinking, 'If it were me, I could break free in minutes. Ordinary concrete walls couldn't withstand the force of a top martial artist, let alone someone as skilled as Andrew!'
"He had no superpowers before. Even if he recovers, it will take a long time. Using methods for ordinary people should be fine. The special locks we prepared will arrive tonight, and we can replace them then," Greg quickly explained.
"You have special locks for warriors?" Ethan raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Of course, but they're in the capital, and they can't be transported by plane or train. They have to be driven over to avoid trouble," Greg explained casually.
"How long has he been sitting like this?" Seeing Andrew meditating with his eyes closed, seemingly unaware of their presence, Ethan frowned and continued to ask.
"My men reported that he's been sitting like this since he arrived. Except for waking up at meal times, he seems to be meditating or sleeping the rest of the time," Greg briefly explained the situation.
"Are you trying to recover your powers quickly? Andrew, I'm here, and you're still playing dead?" Ethan chuckled and taunted Andrew.
However, Andrew remained unresponsive, as if he hadn't heard anything.
"Do you think I'll just leave after checking on you? You must have recovered quite a bit of your superpowers by now. I came here today to absorb your demonic energy!"
Ethan sneered inwardly, wanting to see how long Andrew could hold out.
However, Andrew still didn't react.
"If you keep playing dead, I will kick your ass! Don't think that just because you apprenticed under Asura Bloodhand and learned some demonic cultivation, I'll be afraid of you. No matter what, you're just trash in front of me!" Ethan didn't expect Andrew to be so patient.
As soon as Ethan said this, Andrew couldn't hold back anymore. His tightly closed eyes suddenly opened wide, and he stared at Ethan with a hint of surprise.
"So, you finally stop playing dead. I thought you could stay silent forever!" As Ethan saw his surprised reaction, his face showed a smug smile.
"You can see through my skills?" Andrew stared at Ethan in shock and asked.
"Surprised? Since I can absorb your demonic cultivation, I naturally have ways to counter your master. If you're hoping he'll come to save you, you can forget about getting out of here!" Ethan said with a cold sneer.
"Then why don't you just kill me?" Andrew asked angrily.
"Of course, it's for your demonic energy!" Ethan burst into laughter.
