Chapter 362 Let Him Invite in Person
Within six months, Ethan fell for Sarah, Chloe, and Hannah one after another.
Jessie felt helpless and heartbroken hearing about Ethan's time with them.
Take Chloe and Sarah, for instance. Even Jessie liked them, so no wonder Ethan couldn't choose between them!
Plus, their relationship was so smooth, which Jessie found amazing!
Although Hannah had a rough past and a failed marriage, she was finally moving on.
As a woman, Jessie understood Hannah's pain.
With Camila calling her "Grandma," Jessie had to accept Ethan's relationships, no matter how crazy it seemed.
At that moment, Ethan was chatting with Percival and others when Alexander showed up after hearing the news.
That night, after Ethan entered the secret lab, Alexander was on edge. Luckily, things turned out okay. Even if he had worried, he couldn't have done anything, so he stayed away.
Now, seeing Ethan safe, Alexander felt relieved.
"Any news from the Ashford family?" Ethan asked Alexander, glancing at Gino, who was sitting quietly.
He had to deal with Gino's brother-in-law, making things tricky.
But letting Dorian off easy wasn't an option since he had imprisoned Jessie for years.
"Everything's normal, but Ignatius is completely disabled and still in the hospital. It's a miracle he's alive. He's lost his grip and is handing over power. Now, most of the Ashford family's power is with Caspar and Kenny," Alexander reported. During Ethan's absence, he kept an eye on the Ashford family as part of his job.
"At least he knows his place. Send an invite to Dorian for me, asking him to meet tonight at Midnight Oasis. Tell him to bring Caspar and Kenny," Ethan instructed calmly.
"Got it, I'll handle it right away!" Alexander said and left quickly.
"Ethan, what are you planning to do with Caspar and Kenny?" Gino asked, frowning.
Clearly, he couldn't let go of his bond with Caspar after hearing Ethan's plan.
"Don't worry. My target is Dorian alone. But since Caspar and Kenny are his family, they'll find out eventually. It's better to bring everything to light and solve it all at once," Ethan explained.
Gino frowned more but stayed silent.
From Ethan's perspective, his actions made sense, and Gino couldn't argue.
"Don't worry. I won't go overboard. As long as Dorian gives me an explanation, I won't make things too hard for his family," Ethan said, seeing Gino's conflicted look.
"Thanks!" Gino nodded, feeling grateful. He knew Ethan chose Midnight Oasis to meet Dorian's family out of consideration for him, and under these circumstances, Ethan wouldn't go to extremes.
Just then, a Miller family servant rushed in and reported to Percival, "Mr. Miller, someone outside claims to be from the Wilson family and wants to see Mr. Wilson!"
Percival immediately looked at Ethan.
"Let him in," Ethan instructed calmly.
"Yes, sir!" The servant quickly left. The Miller family knew Ethan held high status in the household, second only to Percival, a fact Percival had discreetly reminded the servants of.
Soon, Zephyr appeared in the living room alone, looking cold and arrogant.
"Speak up or get lost. I don't have time to waste," Ethan said impatiently.
A flash of anger crossed Zephyr's face, but he quickly suppressed it. With the Millers present, Ethan could easily overpower him. Zephyr hadn't even reached Half-Step Grandmaster and had been defeated by Ethan before. Now, he was no match for the Half-Step Grandmaster Ethan!
No matter how angry he felt, he had to swallow his pride.
"Brady wants to know when you can discuss returning to the Wilson family," Zephyr said, taking a deep breath.
"Why didn't that old man come himself?" Ethan sneered.
"Ethan, watch your tone!" Zephyr warned, losing his patience.
"What if I don't? Are you going to teach me a lesson? Or you can go back and tell him I will never return to the Wilson family!" Ethan smirked, staring at Zephyr.
Zephyr was speechless. Reporting back to Brady like that would get him in trouble.
"Jessie had agreed to discuss it before! Where is Jessie?" Zephyr tried to find a way through Jessie.
"I'm here!" Jessie walked in from outside.
"Jessie, Brady wants to invite you to discuss this matter," Zephyr said quickly.
Jessie, being an elder, commanded respect from Zephyr. At least he didn't have to be subservient to Ethan.
"You're Zephyr, right?" Jessie asked calmly.
"Jessie, you remember me?" Zephyr nodded.
"Not very well. Why did Brady send you to find us?" Jessie asked slowly.
"Am I not qualified enough?" Zephyr's mouth twitched.
"Of course not. Brady should come here to talk or personally invite us!" Jessie said, even more assertive than Ethan, leaving Zephyr stunned.
