Chapter 606 Trevor Was Here Too

After they struck a deal in the secret realm of Flowers Valley, the Ladies Guild members all went their separate ways, leaving Ethan with nothing much to do. With the Ladies Guild on board, Ethan just had to sit back, wait for the news to spread, and react as things unfolded.

Luckily, the Ladies Guild had a bunch of leaders. Besides the head leader who was in seclusion, the other eight had their own networks and reputations in the hidden sects. With eight people spreading the word about Vast Mountain, things moved way faster than Ethan expected.

Before heading out, Patricia called Bonnie, who had been waiting outside, to come in and look after Ethan, which made her pretty happy.

Once everyone left, Bonnie kept staring at Ethan, checking him out. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Ethan asked with a wry smile.

"I just feel like you're different from last night." Bonnie blushed a bit, looking a little embarrassed.

"I think you're different too. You weren't this polite when we first met. I actually liked your feisty side better." Ethan nodded with a bitter smile.

Bonnie felt embarrassed, remembering how she had told Ethan not to go to Vast Mountain last night. Just then, a female disciple rushed over and whispered something to Bonnie.

Ethan's expression turned weird because he overheard the disciple telling Bonnie that someone outside was looking for him. He had only come to the Ladies Guild on a whim, so he had no clue who could've tracked him down here.

"Mr. Wilson, there's a guy outside. Is he with you?" Bonnie asked, looking at Ethan.

"What's his name?" Ethan raised an eyebrow.

"He said he's Trevor, a young guy with a shaved head," the female disciple replied.

Hearing this, Ethan frowned. Trevor was supposed to be with Beverly in Novaria. He must be looking for him because there was no cell signal after entering the secret realm, but Ethan had no idea how Trevor knew he was at Flowers Valley.

"What's up? Do you know him?" Bonnie asked, noticing Ethan's uneasy look.

"He is my man. Since we got nothing else to do, let's go meet him," Ethan said to Bonnie.

"Alright, follow me," Bonnie agreed and led the way.

Following Bonnie from the Magic Circle back to the valley where they had entered the Ladies Guild, Ethan quickly sensed Trevor's location.

It seemed he was at the spot where they had waited for Patricia last night, and it looked like he was being questioned by Kimberly.

"I really have something important and must see Ethan immediately. Please take me in," Trevor frowned and repeatedly requested Kimberly.

"Stop causing a scene. The Ladies Guild isn't a place just anyone can waltz into. Either wait here or scram," Kimberly snapped at Trevor, clearly still holding a grudge from last night when she felt humiliated in front of Ethan and Bonnie.

Ethan was a master level, so Kimberly was naturally cautious around him. But right now, a Half-Step Grandmaster at the same level as her dared to act arrogantly in front of her, which was simply unacceptable.

"Kimberly, if this guy is really with the man from last night, won't you be in trouble for treating him like this?" a female disciple nervously whispered to Kimberly.

"So what if they're together? I'm just following the Ladies Guild's rules. Even if the master asks, it's not on me," Kimberly snorted, clearly not caring.

"Looks like Trevor's having a rough time; he's getting the boot," Ethan chuckled as he and Bonnie arrived and saw the standoff between Trevor and Kimberly.

"Kimberly, what are you doing?" Bonnie was angry. Ethan was her guest, and even Patricia had to take him seriously. Seeing Trevor being blocked by Kimberly was unacceptable to her.

Hearing Bonnie's scolding, Kimberly's face darkened, and the other female disciples looked uneasy. "Bonnie, I'm just following the rules. It's not your place to boss me around," Kimberly glanced at Ethan, noting his calm expression, and then coldly snorted at Bonnie.

Her words were not just a retort to Bonnie but also a reminder to Ethan that she was sticking to the Ladies Guild's rules. Even if he was unhappy, he couldn't blame her!

"You..." Bonnie was furious and wanted to argue, but Ethan raised his hand to stop her.

"It's just a misunderstanding. No need to get all worked up." Ethan smiled and shook his head at her. Bonnie had no choice but to back down, though she shot a glare at Kimberly.

Seeing this, Kimberly sneered. It seemed she was right; even if Ethan was a master level expert, he had to follow the Ladies Guild's rules. With this thought, her apprehension towards Ethan lessened, and her gaze towards Bonnie became more provocative and contemptuous.

Bonnie was so angry she clenched her fists. Normally, with her fiery temper, she would've already fought Kimberly. But today, she backed down just because of one word from Ethan, and she hadn't even realized it.

At this moment, Ethan and Trevor had no interest in dealing with these women. Seeing Ethan, Trevor visibly relaxed and quickly walked over.

"Let's talk over there," Ethan said, glancing at Bonnie and the others before leading Trevor to a secluded forest area. He set up a barrier to ensure their conversation wouldn't be overheard.

"You really are in Flowers Valley. Looks like my luck isn't too bad," Trevor said, his relieved expression making Ethan even more curious.

"What happened?" Ethan raised an eyebrow and asked.
